Do it do it do it do it do it do it!
It's great because it has the kids of a bunch of characters from FE7, like Canas, Bartre, Rath, and Nino. Also, you get to explore the entire continent instead of just Lycia and Bern. Plus it's got all those dickpunch moves you know and love in other games, like desert maps, hordes of reinforcements, disappearing paths, and allies that you can't recruit immediately but who still want to kill you! And Roy! Everybody loves Roy!
If that didn't sell you, supports are way overpowered and Beserkers and Swordmasters get +30 to crit instead of +15. And you can have up to three of each. Oh yes
I heard FE6 is the hardest of the GBA games because of bad growth rates. Clearly they angered RNG Goddess Anna. :ninja:
But nah, the game fascinates me so much. I have no idea why NoA didn't release it after FE7 proved to be a surprising success in the west. The marketing as a sequel, oh god Smash Bros. tie-ins….kid me would love it.
Seeing a lot of my favorite characters 20 years in the future is also great, you know? Old but seasoned Marcus still protecting the Marquess's son, Merlinus being loyal as ever but also bold, Bartre with the mustache of legends, and of course:
THIS beautiful man. Hector is a f**king boss.
….then the kids! Lilina, Nino's twins, Pent's spoiled daughter....(I've been watching playthroughs of the game, saw up to chapter 5 or so)
Hell, it was because of Smash Bros. that I've come to like Roy, even if he's not too popular (or high-tiered) in either game. He's our boy!
