I thought of something, could Nami's weather prediction abilities be a form of observation haki?
nah,she just studied really hard and she's talented..
also, there are not really "forms" of haki apart from the three categories already explained

Yeah you're probably right, it's just that some characters have shown different types of observation haki, Otohime, Aisa, Coby, Usopp
…etc.
It could have been pretty cool you know, different types.

aren't they the same exact thing?hearing the voices of people, thus eing able to "feel" what they are thinking and pinpoint their location?

Maybe it's not haki, but it's definitely something more than just learning.
She is able to actually predict the weather in the most unpredictable place.
It could be some kind of power like Zoro's breath of things and Roger's voice of all things.

I think she's just really really sensitive to changes in air pressure and humidity.
@Bond:
I think she's just really really sensitive to changes in air pressure and humidity.
Just like how Zoro is sensitive to small vibrations in Atoms and molecules of various substances?
I am not trying to say it is not possible, but it seems too simple/plain of an explanation for One Piece.
Usopp's sniper skills turned to Aura viewing, Zoro's badass-ness became Asura, Shanks stare turned into CoC, and so on.
I am all but sure there is more to Nami's weather sensing than just Air pressure and humidity.
I could see them trying to teach Usopp by using examples characteristic to them, like Xoro telling him to train his body to the limit or Sanji using women as examples not really making sense, all af this seen through a flashback while Usopp is fighting a strong enemy kind of like Nami learning how to use the climate tact in Alabaster.
In the end Usopp is probably going to master it his own way
This would be the absolute best! I can see it now!

but usopp sniping and him being able to see auras have nothing to do with each other…if anything the chapter when he unlocked observation haki gave a pretty good depiction of what being sniper actually is...is more about geometry and physics and less about being able to see things

For a brief moment the skills of a Sniper were touched and then it turned into One Piece.
I am not saying Nami doesn't have excellent Navigation skills which involve Air Pressure and other stuff. That all would obviously be mentioned just like Usopp's sniping, but I am sure this will sooner or later turn into some supernatural power which Nami possesses.

Maybe Madam whatherface's powers to look into the future be attribute to observation haki, it was never explained.

Am I forgetting something? When did she look into future?
Or are you referring to her predictions about major weather changes.

In fishman island, you know the the giant mermaid with the hoodie.

Oh, You were talking about Shyarly. I was under the impression you were still talking about Nami. My bad.
I always thought her powers were more or less hokum. But yeah, it could have something to do with Haki.
Lately, everything has something to do Haki.
Did she ever predict something without her crystal ball ?
Did she ever predict something without her crystal ball ?
Apparently not. Her future sight is reliant on her crystal ball. When the Strawhats arrived, she saw the prediction of Luffy amidst the ruins of Fishman Island after peeking into her crystal ball. At the end, when she vowed never to use her power again, we see the crystal ball snagged to pieces.
Did she ever predict something without her crystal ball ?
I don't think so.
So, are you suggesting the Crystal Ball ate Future-Future no mi?

I was going to say that Gon's dad used haki on it, but this sounds even better. Will the fruit be resurrected now ? :getlost:
Will Blackbeard die with a smile on his face?
Would he die? Luffy doesn't kill his enemies.
It wasn't really a question of whether or not he was going to die in the series or not..
Although that is another question
Actually the chances of that are slim. Reasons for Blackbeard not dying;
Oda loves the Blackbeard pirates and created them after the actual Blackbeard.
Oda doesn't like killing characters
An answer to "Luffy doesn't kill his enemies".
Luffy has a lot to develop on a mental and emotional stage. Luffy might really mature up before the end of the series, and knowing that Blackbeard will probably be an "end-game" villain, it MIGHT be that BB dies.
This is all rambled speculation though

Wasn't aware that Oda loves Blackbeard Pirates. Did he say that in some interview?

I think that not killing his opponents, or more particularly, the rise of his opponents after shattered dreams is a very important part of One Piece.
It just won't feel right if Luffy started killing his opponents.

It's too heavy for one piece. one piece is a feel good manga. not a super serious exploring human nature manga.

Yea that is worse. "Not putting one out of their misery" is the worst.
Yea Oda has actually said that if he could join any crew it would be the Blackbeard pirates. (Strawhats exempt)

Oda's acting like mama bear for Zoro

Didn't stop him from soaking them in deadly poison… :ninja:
If anything, Blackbeard Pirates are an excellent example of author succesfully battling his personal preferences for them, to stop them from becoming sues, even if I do think that he overdoes it.
An example of author not so succesfully battling his personal preferences would be Zoro. Post-timeskip, at least.
"Don't speak ill of Zoro".
I'm sorry, Oda, but this is a promise that I simply cannot keep.
Goddamn marimo.

And getting out of it unharmed. Maybe even develop the same "immunity" as Luffy? @Verus:

What did Oda do to Zoro post timeskip?
And getting out of it unharmed. Maybe even develop the same "immunity" as Luffy?
Probably not, it was pre-produced antidote, not Iva-san's magical hormons.
What did Oda do to Zoro post timeskip?
Made him too strong, badass and stoic at the cost of personality.
"Don't speak ill of Zoro".

"You Sanji fans don't like Zoro? How about I make him 17 times stronger????"
@DHL:
"You Sanji fans don't like Zoro? How about I make him 17 times stronger????"
And he'll never laugh again! MUHAHAHAHAHA
And the sad thing is that it would probably work for your average reader…
Question: How long is Usopp's hair post TS when it's down? So far he's always had it tied back.
Probably not, it was pre-produced antidote, not Iva-san's magical hormons.
I did say "maybe". There is always the little chance.
Made him too strong, badass and stoic at the cost of personality.
1.) He was always badass.
2.) He was always stoic.
3.) He has a reason to get too strong. Unlike Sanji, he actually has a power related target to achieve. He has a person to surpass in strength.
I'm terrible at blood typing so can someone tell me who is compatible with whom for blood transfusion within the crew?
(Just thinking back on Fishman island)

SBS 66
D: Hello Oda-sensei! In volume 62 when Sanji meets the mermaids and blows a shower of nosebleed, Chopper was saying his blood type was "S", but that sounds really different! What are the other blood types? If it's okay with you, I'd like to know the blood types of all the Straw Hats! P.N. Bepo
O: Yeah. Sure.
SBS66 5 SH Blood Types
..so that's it. To be clear, the types include F, S, X, and XF. However in this world, the way people call blood types hasn't been united yet so there seems to be places where they use A, B, or O instead.

Brook is type x? That's funny.
Thanks. I'm more specifically wanting to know who can share blood transfer with each other.
Struggled to find a simple straight forward diagram of what though. Think I finally found one on google just now (taken me weeks and I get really confused on the RH)
Can someone confirm if I have got this right?
Recipient - donor
Luffy - Usopp, Robin
Zoro - Everyone?
Nami - Usopp, Robin, Chopper, Brook (How the heck does Brook have a blood type? lmao)
Usopp - Robin
Chopper - Nami, Usopp, Robin, Brook
Robin - Usopp
Franky - Everyone?
Brook - I almost had a heart attack.. ahh but I have no heart YOHOHOHO
Sanji: I haven't a clue due to the RH
It's all just for self serving curiosity.

OH no clue..: I just know Jinbe and Luffy… No other SH or there would be no need for Jinbe cuz every other SH could do it.
Non of the SH can do it with Sanji either
And I don't think the blood type sharing is as complicated as in real life

Blood donations is that complicated. Took me a while to find what I wanted to know. O (S) are universal donors but can only receive blood from other O (S) Blood types. I think.

Yeah I know in real life it is complicated. But I doubt Oda would do it that complicated in a manga
We only know that no SH can give his blood to Sanji and Luffy… Jinbe can give it to Luffy. The end
So you see your list iwn't working as well

Oh that Oda is such a Continuity messer upper lol
Question I was wondering if it was possible that the island Jimbe is on presently is an island further ahead of zou or an island between dressrosa and zou. I am thinking of the possibility of the Straw Hats actually stopping on that island only to receive a message from Jimbe from the inhabitants, also it would be nice for Robin to come across the poneglype there. I think that Robin will come across that poneglype some how and I see this as a possible scenario.
Do Odas character size errors get fixed?
In chapter 781 flamingo was too tall.
Luffy who is 180cm~ was half of flamingos size in that page. That makes Doflamingo 360cm tall when in fact he is 305cm.

I remember Luffy around 172-3 and Zoro 178. I don't think that's a problem though. You know Oda changes portrayals intentionally.

Luffy was exactly my height at one point. 178-182.
I've done actual measurements at home seeing how I'd compare to Doflamingo. 10ft is crazy.

I'm pretty sure that's not true. According to sources I can't recall.
Luffy's height is 174 (172 before timeskip)
Alright this has been bothering me for some time, what the hell are those lines on Franky's eyes?

His eyelashes? Unless you meant something else.
