First comment :D Lets see..
Edit: lol 2nd.
Next week we will see Sabo, but Luffy will now FINALLY get his 1vs1 fight.
E: Ohh, there is a break next week. GTA V PC is even then out…

The chapter started awesome but after getting to the second part, I felt like I've jinxed it.
Lol Trebol. Getting defeated by a guy who cant move
Before anyone gets the wrong idea, there's a serious error in the Mangapanda translation.
The people at Mariejois didn't cut off the head of Dofla's dad. Dofla brought the head to Mariejois himself.
That's what the Chinese version says anyway.
Trebol is done for, no matter what happens next.
Luffy right now:
Good chapter, awesome coreography and nice flashback. Even if I insist that Law should, one of these days, try and stay the fuck down for real. His absurdly hilarious attack was cool and all, and Trébol going all bonzo is crazy, but really, Law, you've already proved time and again that you're uber. Let it rest a bit.
Awesome chapter!
so trebol got defeated by an arm? cmon oda why did you hype the officers and then made them fall like fools?
First thing that came to mind, is that Sabo would eat(absorb) those flames from the explosion, 2nd thing was Kin'mon cutting them. Both seems far fetched though.
so trebol got defeated by an arm? cmon oda why did you hype the officers and then made them fall like fools?
There's going to be people who still defend them lol
I really thought Trebol was a logia. That was really a nice reveal. I will admit Law is really pushing it with his apparently limitless life span, stamina, or whatever lets him use his power. It's kind of annoying.
So is Trebol even a logia now? Starting to doubt it.
He is not, the dialogue makes no sense otherwise, as Aohige correctly pointed in Spoiler Thread.

If he's not a logia then surviving being cut into pieces 2 times was a plot hole.

Deleted the post because I remembered Usopp cutting him with razor leaves and Law cutting him with Gamma Knife. He shouldn't have been able to survive that if he wasn't a logia.
So Trebol is a paramecia similar to Magellan. Glad to see that idiot is taken care of now.
Also, can't remember the last time someone has taken as much damage in this manga as Law has. Since that time when Kuma transferred all Luffy's injuries and fatigue to Zoro. And Wipa, that guy just wouldn't go down.
I like Doffy losing his cool when he saw Trébol was about to be handled. But yeah, enough Law, for christ sake.
God, is there no end to Law's stamina ? He really is the Monty Pythons' Black Knight, I swear
Awesome chapter, awesome fight - at last some truly serious Luffy action - Dofla's past keeps getting better…Yet the end feels jinxed indeed. With that self-destruct move (is that even possible ? I mean can Trebol take really damage from the explosion of his own body fluids ? That didn't seem to be a problem for Mr 5. although if he is indeed a paramecia, I can accept it), Law and Luffy are either going to pull a Pell or be saved by Sabo / Kinemon, either of which would feel completely forced as we last saw the later on the other side of the city, and Pell....Well, we don't want to go down that road again, do we ?
Unless it's finally revealed that the shield admirals used in MarieJoie to block Whitebeard's earthquake was conqueror's haki at work and Luffy can do it too.

Of course he can, there was plenty of space for him to crouch under te blades. Remember hiw Trebol is known for his speed and reflexes.
Awesome chapter… Really love it and now curious about next chapter
Did Luffy ever kicked like that before this fight? I'm talking about page 6. http://www.mangareader.net/one-piece/729/6
so trebol got defeated by an arm? cmon oda why did you hype the officers and then made them fall like fools?
An arm? he got defeated by Law and he isn't defeated, he got slashed and now hes going to blow himself up along with Law.
Man Trebol is a really evil bastard I liked the flashback a lot, as for Law yeah Oda is kinda overdoing it with Law is dead/Law is going to die every chapter now and yeah Law stay down already.
I'm fairly certain it's implied he dodged those attacks with cause his body is so thin.
law as powerful as whitebeard, he's unstoppable and will never even faint… the officers fell one by one easily and were portrayed like a bunch of arrogant and almost stupid people.
even dofla the great mind seems to be understimating everything...
dressrosa started like an awesome saga but is getting more and more underwhelming.
I think he his a logia… he's just really skinny so Luffy's punches missed.

That almost made me laugh out loud.

Well law's power don't cut, same way it ws with vergo. Usopp likely cut only his "sticky" since trebol is like a contorsionist that hides in his body.
Man! Luffy's fight with Doffy was just one of those moments when you're constantly whincing because of how awesome it looks. Trebol finally being defeated was awesome and now Law can finally sit out the rest of the battle while Luffy wraps this shit up at long last. Even if Trebol went all Al-Qaida on them, I seriously doubt it's gonna be a problem.
If he's not a logia then surviving being cut into pieces 2 times was a plot hole.

Ahh good point. That is weird. Perhaps he has one of those special DF types we haven't heard about. Lockness Monster Ancient Zoan maybe? lolz
Mystery solved:

I think he his a logia… he's just really skinny so Luffy's punches missed.
He now seems like a snot paremecia that is really thing and thats how he was avoiding stuff but not a Logia anymore.
We finally got the Trebols deeper importance reveal that everyone has been waiting for. Skinny old Trebol reveal was cool (and those eyes). I assume they'll give a bit more to his (but mostly Doffys) story but well see. Good chapter.
So.. Doffy was made that way by the 4 excutive?
So glad Law mentioned his own crew. Means he won't throw his life just like that :D
If he's not a logia then surviving being cut into pieces 2 times was a plot hole.
The time Law cut him doesn't apply to this. Remember that Law can cut solid body parts in half without actually cutting them (easily reattachable if the body parts connect again).
As for the Usopp cutting incident, Bond en Avant did a pretty good drawing job of how it makes sense. :ninja:
!
But most importantly, we saw Trebol's eyes!
Only good part was seeing Doffy and Luffy duke it out. Can Trebol and Law explode forreal tho because I'm getting sick of both of them.
@Galaxy:

Only in One Piece the obviously joking explanation can be considered seriously.
Hey, the first panel of thr chapter was real after all. The cover page was not interesting, I decided not to care. Anyway this is an interesting chapter
@ Razh
Also couldn't this cover page be last week cover page? Oo Jinbe having a feast with the people he helped like a good Strawhat does but still it could have happened last week.
Great fight between Doffy and Luffy. Cool flashback showing how the executives became his "family". Law's move would have been cool… if he wasn't supposed to be incapacitated for the last 3 chapters. Also not really liking Trebol's non-logia status, but I guess since "snot" isn't an element it makes sense, but it makes the Usopp and Law attacks seem silly. For those saying Law's attack allows you to put yourself back together... he said that attack would permanently dismember you shortly.
Trebol is a logia, everything previously done to him makes no sense otherwise. Law's attack seemed to nullify Trebol's powers somehow à la Blackbeard.
And as with Whitebeard vs Aokiji, haki didn't work on a logia's body yet again. Both times it looked like they dodged the attacks by removing the part about to get hit.
So Doflamingo is even more of a victim now? Not sure how I feel about this. When Trebol explained how the family mended Doffy into what he is today, it felt similar to Vergo vs. Law and how Vergo ended up being a mindless puppet.. Right now Doffy feels the same, although I hope that changes.
The fight was nice though, as short as it was. Law's attack also looked good, but you have to wonder how much he can keep it up. I really don't hope Law is the reason they escape the explosion.
If he's not a logia then surviving being cut into pieces 2 times was a plot hole.
Seems like I was right about Trebol being paramecia.
Radio Knife most likely doesnt kill just like cut that was used against Vergo- part of Laws Devil Fruit non lethal ability as it seems.
Or Trebol avoided dying same way he avoided getting killed by Ussop
@Bond:
If I may illustrate:
Trebol is a logia, everything previously done to him makes no sense otherwise.
There's no reason for Trebol to deny being a Logia if he's actually a Logia.
Man, it really feels like that since the beginning of the year Law is on the brink of death. When the arc is over we have to get used to him beeing alive and well again, lol.
@Galaxy:
There's no reason for Trebol to deny being a Logia if he's actually a Logia.
He didn't in the Manga Panda translation.

The 4 of them basically saw the potential in Doffy, I don't think this makes him a victim of anything. He was evil incarnate from birth, Rocinante said as much, and as soon as they give him a chance at revenge, he's like oh yeah, let me kill the gazillion people I hate.
The seats' responsibility in all this was, I guess, training and preparing him to be the real head honcho of the OP world, not making him evil.
Or at least that's how I understood this.
