"Everybody get up, it's time to slam now
We got a real jam goin' down
Welcome to the Space Jam
Here's your chance, do your dance at the Space Jam, alright"
Good time. -
Ok, gonna make a declaration right now:
If Small Soldiers wins, I will stream the Small Soldiers PSX Game right after.
Here's proof that I'm serious
-
Well that was fun. That movie seemed to last forever when I was a kid.
-
Well it was better than Zardoz.

That game gave me nightmares as a kid :/ (the 2 player was awesome though)
-
I think AP does not like horror/trash movies, but I am glad that I have nominated and voted for "At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul". <3
This week is going to be brutal..Good !!
About Space Jam, that OST <3<3 Also that Zardoz speech in the credits, good one G9 !
-
To the people who didn't liked it: Thar was canon.

Zardoz was weirder and harder to understand…but at least it was original. Space Jam was generic commercialism.
-
In an effort to campaign for Weekend at Bernie's, I've changed my avatar which I have not done since I joined AP in '08. So I mean serious business.
Vote Weekend at Bernie's!
-
TLC can you tell us what your least favorite movie on the list is? So we can all vote for it.
-
There was hardly any commercialism in Space Jam
Now get your Hanes on and let's go get some Big Macs.

8mm .

I could film 3 hours of me eating mustard and it would be original.

Well if you do it wearing that Zardoz costume, I'd watch it ;)

Good movie plot, be careful, someone might steal it.:ninja:

Spaceballs are doing well … even if Small Soldiers wins, I think I'm gonna have find a way to see Spaceballs again.
May the Schwartz be with you!
-
I like Spaceballs but man have the jokes about the movie been done to death. Small Soldiers isn't that much interesting either though imo. I hope Ri-ki-oh makes a surprise comeback. It looks the most interesting and original out of all of these.

Small Soldiers is scary, at least Spaceballs has a sexy nurse.

Is that the the original Scary Movie?
-
Now I'm conflicted. I want to watch Small Soldiers so Rin will play the shitty PS1 game, but Space Balls is winning. And well….c'mon its Space Balls.
Edit: Thank god I missed Zardoz...

Zardoz is the truest AP experience.
It's the Gold Experience
-
Can one truly enjoy anything having not seen Zardoz?
What sort of life is that to live?

Despite being behind in the poll, I'm still going to campaign for my nomination:
Vote Weekend at Bernie's!
-
If it comes down to a tie that doesn't involve Riki-Oh, my vote is for not Spaceballs.
Classic movie, but a bunch of us here have seen it way too many times, myself included. I don't think I could stand watching it again.
-
You can never watch Mel Brooks too many times.
-
Hey, there's no denying to comedic prowess of Brooks, but there are more interesting movies to watch than Spaceballs for the nth time.
Sometimes you need to watch a movie where martial arts guys explode into gore to make you better appreciate the peak humor of an old jewish man mocking pop culture.
-
Same here. If we need a tiebreaker, my vote will go to Small Soldiers.
-
Seriously, tho
-
I would be highly in favor of Star Wars this week, Spaceballs the next. Just cause :P
-
My week 4 nom will be something more tame: Little Otik
Seems the title on IMDB is "Greedy Guts" for this… so just letting you know I'll be calling it that in the post to prevent confusion.
Also, voting for the theme is still open, and there are still 9 nomination slots for week 4. Both of these entries will close when the poll at the top does.
-
In the interests of annoying Wagomu, if it comes down to a tie, I'd like to shift my vote to Spaceballs.

y u goata b like dat?
-
Also I want to nominate Airplane.
-
We should watch Men in Tights, it's a Mel Brooks movie not everyone talks about.
-
For week four, I'd like to nominate The Midnight Hour. A wonderfully cheesy made-for-television horror movie from the 80's.
Featuring LeVar Burton in the role that made his career.
-
For those of you who have still not voted yet, may I suggest you include Weekend at Bernie's in your vote. You may be asking yourself, "Why vote Weekend at Bernie's?" The question you should be asking yourself is, "Why not?"
But don't just take my word for it, let's see what audiences think!
Give a vote for Weekend at Bernie's! -
For week 4 I nominate Jurassic Park
-
Another Nic Cage classic, Face Off!
-
In the interests of annoying everyone, if it comes down to a tie, I'd like to shift my vote to Spaceballs.
Fixed for accuracy.
Come on peeps, give the chance to a movie many of us would probably not watch otherwise (Small Soldiers!!), while Spaceballs remains that movie we see way too many times.
-
I haven't seen any of those movies and I don't care for any of those movies. Sorry.

Time for a last second Titanic push to the top? :ninja:

Funny enough, I'm the opposite. I've seen Small Soldiers way too much, and have never seen Spaceballs, and was thinking of voting for it.
Spaceballs has been quoted so much around me that I just get annoyed, mostly because I've never seen it and I'm not in on the jokes.
-
No point in watching Spaceballs if you haven't seen Star Wars, which sadly several here have not. Lets get a late surge of voters and fix that shall we :D
-
If there's a tie I'm canceling my vote for Spaceballs. As someone who voted for both currently tied movies, AND someone who actually shows up for them, I think it makes sense for me to break that tie.

Makes sense to me … still can't believe that I slept through the first, then forgot the second and went shopping.

The third time will be the charm!

With Ubiq's change of vote, it'll still be a tie though. :ninja:
Also, 4 nominations left for week 4. And more votes should be cast for theme month, if anybody wants to do it.
