@STP_PS:
But you see KC, the lack of evidence is not evidence in itself. If oda chooses to miss out the fight club and treat it ala fishman dojo then that would be the seccond biggest letdown. I have to say however that does links do not prove or disprove that the fight club will be shown upon.
For instance, Judging by those links. Would you say that Ellizabello will beat Dellinger then? Ellizabello does have a huge panel time and Dellinger should be quite near. Something else, it is true that Sai had a fight with the funk brothers however it is also true that Ideo sent Hajrudings body flying with an explosive fist. What are the points of these anyway? plus judging that sai is more important than Ideo (unless until this plateau fighting is over) seems to be a little bit rushed. I would like to point one more thing out, most of those plateau fighter have well deserved and top notch titles worthy of the future pirate king. Look at them Ellizabello is a King, Don sai is the new leader of the happou navy,Hajrudin will be the king of the giants one day, Ideo is the champion of the new line Fight club and Orlumus is the Admiral of the Yontamaria fleet. If you think about it they are the best of the best in whatever they do. Lets be honest no one ever thought that sai would appear in this chapter with such a light, but the trend has been consistent oda is fleshing out the Colloseum warriors as competent allies.
Elizabello seems to be already set on Pica and will assist Zoro in some way.
The thing with Ideo though is that he's been treated as filler. He's done nothing noteworthy outside the C-Block, where even he was unfocused.
Hajrudin is from the super-hyped Elbaf and was the first person to show his devotion to Usopp and present him as a "God", Sai defended Luffy at the Colosseum, Chinjao is a legend who had his backstory shown, Elizabello is Riku's buddy and had an entire chapter dedicated to his punch, Abdullah and Jeet took a ride with Luffy and saved him and Law from the String Clone. This was all before those battles took place.
Meanwhile Blue Gilly, Ideo, Suleiman and Orlumbus haven't been that focused. Their contributions to the plot have been very small in comparison and 2 of them have already been taken out.

@Kaizoku_Ou:
Can't wait for Ideo to prove you all wrong, again. Specially you KC, you're grasping for straws here with the development thing. What a more perfect moment for Ideo's dev? it's like now or never. And Oda seems pretty generous about developing them coliseum fighters asof late. So your dev argument can be used against you.
Where was Suleiman's development? And Blue Gilly's?
Don't talk like Hajrudin and Sai were as undeveloped as Ideo before those battles.
