So unless I'm missing something this is the first time an event legendary will be available in a Pokémon gamae without it. Plus over 30 more legendaries are also catchable.
We need to find a new word, "hype" won't do any justice to what I'm convinced is, hands down, the best Pokemon game ever.

I… already have all the legendaries (exceptDiancie) AND I don't like playing with them due to their uber stats so... that is completely lost on me. I really don't care.
Even if I wanted to use my favorites Shaymin and Suicune in-game, they won't show up till the end of it, and the ones I already have are overlevelled.
And of the new megas, only Beedril and Audino have any real appeal to me... and I'm sure thats super late game again as well.
I dunno. I'm glad everyone else is hyped but I'm just... not feeling it. (Doesn't help that Dragon Age Inquisition launches a couple days prior and that I am hyped for.)

Ofc you cant, next gen comes up and you will just have all the items without working for them, they want you to work for the items and I think thats fine, I dont think we need an itembank.

If that was the reason, then pokémon shouldn't be able to hold items in trades. Because you can still have all the items you want by doing that.

They jus tdidn't want you carrying over hard earned training items, leftovers, or other such useful things that cost a lot or only appear once a game.

I meant from generation to generaton, items being traded between games was always there, I obviously wasn't refering to it.

To those who hate spend so much time breeding with no results like me, I have some good news. Through the use of the PokeNav we will be able to catch Pokemon that have learned eggmoves and/or possess a hidden ability.

As the Search Level goes up…
- It will become easier for you to encounter Pokémon with Hidden Abilities or rare moves (presumably egg moves).
- The information you see about Pokémon you’re searching for will become more detailed (such as 'potential', level, etc.).

The DexNav is like an upgraded Pokedex, so yeah, every mon will be available, and if you persevere enough you'll likely end up catching one with either eggmoves, hidden ability, or both. Of course, it will be easier the higher the Search Level goes up.

Perhaps the most revelant and biggest thing at only one week from the official release (2 for us europeans (damnit!)) is the fact for the first time ever in the franchise a till now only event mythical legendary pokemon will be available in-game. This move by GF breaks the rules stablished on event legendaries and opens the door for further additions in future releases.

Steelix's megastone is only available in Japan, but is expected you'll be able to get it in the game.

Meanwhile, I've decided to take the route I did in White 2 and Y….more than six party pokemon, with on-and-off switching. Sceptile, Swellow, and Gardevoir are definites, because I always use them for Hoenn adventures. As for the others....dunno. Been thinking about the Jigglypuff line cuz Smash. Maybe Plusle or Minun too?

If I were playing this game, which I'm not right now because eeeeeehhhhhhh, it just doesn't do it for me, will probably be some time before I feel like forking over money for a pokemon game, and the fact it's a remake doesn't make me feel like I need to either. Not to mention other games, namely smash, existing in my life right now. And moneys.
But yea, if I were playing the game, I'd be set on the team of:
Sceptile
Altaria
Gardevoir
Mawile
Froslass
MiloticBalanced? Not even a little. But damn if those aren't all pokemon I like. Altaria is the weakest link there for me, but even then the new fairy mega = <3. The fight would then become who gets to mega evolve xD
It also helps that Breloom was in my all-star team in X/Y so no feeling wrong in not using it.But again, this is all just assuming I ever get to playing this game, I'm half expecting that like Soul Silver, by the time the pokemon bug strikes me again the second game of the new gen will be announced.

My original Ruby team was Swampert, Swellow, Gardevoir, Aggron, Electrode, and Groudon. New team's probably going to remain close to that, but definitely swapping Groudon out for something that's non-Legendary (maybe either Salamence or Flygon) and I'll probably have my Special member be something outside the Ralts line since I had a Gardevoir in Y and a Gallade in White 2.

???Like Mienfuu but I used them like crazy last three games while backign away from my old favorite sandshrew. Liked Heliptile a ton but just used one...

With all of you listing teams, I realise how stapled I usually am with my choices. I don't remember my original RSE team, since I've played it so many times… I was going for Swampert as starter and shiny Metagross because of the event. But maybe I should go for something less "uber"...

I don't even know what my team is going to be. Though I'm tempted to trade over a Staryu-egg from Y and have that be my main Pokemon. For I am Lord Starfish (though not on this forum) and therefore obviously my main Pokemon should be a starfish Pokemon!!!

Maybe…..I'm so used to getting Pikachu and its electric cousins every game....and since I have Raichu for Y, getting Pikachu again would be redundant. hmm....Magnemite's line is out, used that for White 2.....Manelectric (sp?)? Nah.....hopefully this version of Hoenn gives more fire and electric types to work with.
I was toying with the idea of Azumarill too, since you can catch Marill very early, but nah, did it for White 2 as well.
.....again, it's likely with the dex and Gen VI and all, that there's gonna be more Pokemon to work with.

the only poke i am sure i will use is Beedrill. Bred me a perfect 6 iv one also for that :).
On that note i have around 6 x Weedles with 5 perfect ivs(-Sp.A) and jolly nature. i think 4 are with HA run away and 2 with shield dust.
