So what's the likelihood that Byakuya took down three sternritter on his own off screen? Part of me wants it because that's less stupid stuff we have to see, but there might've been some potential, especially NaNaNaNaNa x9000, who's power is just saying Na constantly to annoy people.

Cubo probably just wanted to save the trouble developing Col. Sanders and Nanana into actual characters with interesting powers, so he had Byakyuya wipe floor with them plus one bitch that is no longer of a use. It's all under guise of showing off Byakyuya's strength after his Royal Training.

How many Sternritters are actually left standing? I remember that even though the fights with the Espada dragged on forever, it was easy enough to keep track of which ones were still alive and how long we had to go until we got down to the final battle with Aizen. With this, I'd guess there are…ten Sternritters left before we get to Juha Bach? I don't know or really care and I can't remember half of the ones we've seen or which ones have gone down even. We're just getting introduced to them for the sake of killing them off, it's so fucking bad.

Depends on how many letters of the alphabet Kubo decided to use or if he goes all hurricane naming on us and throws greek letters at us, too.
"You thought the Sternritters went only from A to Z? Actually we're gonna keep up the shitty bible references and have an upper echelon going from alpha to omega!"

And when he runs out of those, he's gonna start exploring all the world's writing systems! Get ready for the mighty Cyrillic Sternritters, Kana Sternritters, Arabic Sternritters, Hebrew Sternritters and so on!

Whose eye are you talking about?
What SpaceCowboy said.
Fourth Kazekage'sMario's scar reminded me of something I've seen already, that's all. -

Assuming the three Byakuya took down are really down, we still have Yhwach, Jugram, Giselle, Liltotto, Meninas, PePe, Askin, Bazz-B and there should be 3 who remain unknown (assuming we'll have 26 SR).
-
Don't forget that Ishida is on their side too, temporarily. I can't remember what letter he represents though.

Who can tell with Kubo. Those 3 might just not appear at all. Or maybe new unkown ones will.
Just remembered that Domino dude. He never appeared again and since I doubt Ichigo actually kiled him, Bach probably did.

When were you under the impression there was only capital letters and lower case letters. Introducing the middle case letters!

And low and behold…out from beneath the shadows of Juha Bach's corpses...RISES HIS JAPANESE TWIN! Go forth the Samurai Hiragana squad!

What part of the bible is in Greek? It's totes gonna go from aleph to tav.
-
What part of the bible is in Greek? It's totes gonna go from aleph to tav.
Just the part people reference with the alpha and the omega part. Because hey, if there aren't references to seraphim butterflies and the enemy leader having the same letters as God's name of YHWH, it ain't bleach.

What are the 5 best Zanpakuto and why are they
1. Kazeshini (Hisagi's)
2. Wabisuke (Kira's)
3. Ruri'iro Kujaku (Yumichika's)
4.Shinsō (Gin's)
5.Tachikaze (Kensei's)

It's not just you, but I think he's implying that those are the best
-
What part of the bible is in Greek?
Funnily enoguh, its name itself is greek: "bible" came from "ta biblia", which means "the books" in ancient greek (and maybe in modern, too). Apart from that, the New Testament was apparently written in koiné greek, a bastard greek spoken in eastern mediterranean two thousands or so years ago.
-
Koine Greek was less a bastard Greek and more the lingua franca of the eastern Mediterranean from Alexander the Great until the split of the Roman Empire. The earliest New Testament manuscripts were written in Koine because most people in the middle east at the time would know it.

I'm willing to bet money that in one chapter or two they will simultaneously wake up and fight again. There has litterally not been one fight in this arc where the sternritters have stayed down after their first beating.

No i am pretty sure that's your opinion .

I was going to say the three fodder against Kenpachi, but then I realized you said fight. Most sternritters have won a fight, then lost, and those sternritter haven't. If they do stay down, then their threat was even lower then initially.

You stating facts like the Yelp Lady about the 3 girls at Chillydee's? That joke will only make sense if you know and listen/watch Cox N Crendor podcast/animated shorts.

The guy that took Shunsui´s eye gets off paneled by Byakuya along with the guy that survived Yama´s attack… Not even Mayuri can save this.

Well of course Mayuri can't save this. He's too busy watching his crazy meds mutilate Hitsugaya.
But yeah this is pretty… standard writing for Kubo the moment Mayuri stops having screentime.

I would've been less pissed if it was the vizards that came in and took them out offscreen, but Kubo hates them, so they became zombies. Funnily enough, there were people theorizing that Matsumoto would be important again because of the trees in Juhabachs little flashback, so she did become important, as important as the vizards.

I think he's talking about the zanpakuto popularity poll.

Important in Kubo's philosophical mind means throwing those "important" characters aside . Just look at how he says that certain arc's are supposed to be focused on certain characters except that those characters don't play much of any role except of watching from the sides .
-
Remember everyone, if you got even a panel of screen time, that means you're important, even if that panel was you keeling over

Does the big ass panel of foot counts?
If so then mind-fucking-blowing ….................Kubo you fucking genius .

What does Matsumoto have to do with trees?
-
What does Matsumoto have to do with trees?
Let me try and guess:
They look like the same trees from that scene where a young Gin finds a collapsed Matsumoto?
-
I don't remember that flashback well.
Did the trees have any sort of relevance?
-
There is no tree in the manga LOL .

What does Matsumoto have to do with trees?
According to the person, something in Matsumoto's name meant oak, and they thought there was oak trees in the stuff with Juhabach. Therefore, if trees were in the background, when Kubo never does backgrounds, it must mean something. This was from the same person who makes paragraphs every week about each chapter. Speaking of which…

No idea. Just a random thought. It´s the only thing i can find to relate Matsumoto and trees

I don´t thinki it´s that chapter.
It´s a the flashback on how they met.
Gin finds Matsumoto on the floor and gives her some food. -
Different flashback where Gin finds Matsumoto and offers her food perhaps

I know he was doing backgrounds at the time, and he has had more backgrounds lately, though it's mostly been rubble. I was trying to joke that a distinct looking background was something out of place for him.

I know that most zealots love nitpicking their series, trying to find the most irrelevant of details to prove whatever crack pot theories they have. But I think this is the first time I have ever seen a Japanese passport used as proof for a theory about manga.
-
Kubo's fans are so starved of backgrounds that when they finally get one, they worship every little detail of it.
