That's Takahashi for you.
I hope he reprises both his Hisoka and Pariston roles in the 2022 remake.
Wait, he does Hisoka's voice?

Yes, you could say that manga version also gave impression that Ging could had dodge that punch, Ging was staring hole that appeared on table and then fist shot through hole, though it wasn't very obvious.

Someone needs to do Ging's inner monologue for every scene he's in
Question time: is HxH on break already?? Another Hiatus?? If it is; didn't see that coming….. Togashi really pulled a fast one...

Not on hiatus, just a week break, it'll be back next week.
Considering Leorio's situation as a child I wonder if he grew up with an absentee father as well.
"I have trouble dealing with old ladies"
Somewhere, somehow… Bisky heard his thoughts and is after him.
Looolllll!!!!!!!! That's hilarious, the gorilla granny would rip him a new one
The Last Mission movie is out. Gonna watch it later. Hopefully it's better than that last shitty HxH movie.
That punch scene is awesome! Made my day seeing it so well animated.

Great, will check it later.
I hope this one won't be a complete abomination.
I was watching these subs but "Jin", "Kirua" and some obvious mistakes put me off.
Has this been posted yet?

Has this been posted yet?
Two–--two weeks?!
Hmmm
June 28 issue: chapter 348
Aug 4: break
Aug 11: resume in WSJ double issue, chapter 349
Aug 18: no WSJ, no chapter
Basically it will not publish in one issue, which we already knew (and presently suffer).
I was watching these subs but "Jin", "Kirua" and some obvious mistakes put me off.
The translator just threw the French sub's in Google translator and posted them. That's where the mistakes came from.
Togashi is on break for one issue and that is next week's issue #36 (in speaking in terms of scanlation: this week's issue)! We already knew last week that there will be a combined issue of 37 and 38 on 11th of august due to Obon festival. Don't make such a fuss about it!
Awesome, I finally got to see The Leorio Punch in anime form.
A bit disappointed they didn't have Leorio's middle finger added. What's the point of showing HxH at late night if you can't even have Leorio's middle finger.
The Last Mission:
! Even HxH can't escape from the OMG POWER OF FRIENDSHIP OMG

So is the sub worth watching? Still haven't had time to see it.

They skipped Netero's middle finger to Meruem too I believe. Gore and violence is one thing, but a "fuck you" is too much for the producers.
Netero's middle finger is in the anime:

What chapter was that?
Man looking at such scribble panels again, makes me wonder why the hell togashi didn't started to work with assistants earlier. And since he, for so long, was against having them, what changed his mind?^^

WSJ editors after a looong period of begging, i presume.
Probably, or they said they will personally pay the assistants, so that togashi doesn't have to give away any money. I personally hope for them threatening to just cancell hxh if he stays that lazy, lol.
They probably hired Square Enix to make the "Perfect Dragon Quest" and are releasing them in a week of play sized bits. There's a chapter, there's dragon quest.

Let's hope they thought of a long campaign for this game then.

I'm telling everyone I know who watches anime to get on this series. Now they have no excuses :ninja:
Yes, one step closer to blu ray release.
Hmm. I thought that they did add the middle finger.
Nope, anime is index finger. Cbb uploading the screenshot but it's 21:36 in the anime.
Manga is middle finger, I think. The index finger is barely visible, just 1 line representing it there (and it's parallel to the desk so it's easy to mistake it). Also his left hand has a drawing error (you can see the back line of his index finger).
!
HxH movie 2
! Dumbest fucking shit ever – almost as bad, if not worse, than the first movie. The antagonists were played up so much, and then nerfed during their battles. How did On lose to a half dead Kurapika and a nen-less and useless Leorio? And why didn't Hisoka fight anyone? On was super Nen, so Hisoka should've wanted to fight against that. And that ending. Jesus. Fucking anti-climactic as hell. "I'm back Killua, now let me punch this one guy and end this battle."
! And that Dark Ledger book is mentioned once and then forgotten until the end credits. What a useless plot point. About as useless as Pariston.
! Fuck off Jump. Make some quality HxH movies or don't bother at all.

Honestly, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Yeah sure the ending kinda sucked, it coulda used more Netero, but I guess my expectations are set to the ones for manga movie adaptations at this point which tend not to be… that good.
Also, they ended up making a pretty good OST (well, the more complete tracks I guess) out of it, so I can't complain.
Well they either have to hire better writers/directors or let the original authors write the story. The authors should be good of course, wich is the case with togashi, and isn't with kishi and kubo, lol. But maybe togashi just doesn't want to fully commit to a movie.

The authors writing the movie basically gives it more possibility of throwing more stuff without the same hesitation as regular filler, where the general idea is to completely return to status quo and not tamper with a big part of the history of the world. So stuff like Strong World, even if it wasn't good, introduced Shiki as a rival to Roger and Whitebeard, and Z introduced, well, Z. Also, yes, better writing, but that also goes along with the whole thing of the creation being their baby.
It was more or less what could possibly be expected from a movie set right before the chimera ant arc, though, in which Gon and Killua barely show off their abilities. And to be honest, I don't really buy that the On users really stand a chance against Netero when his nen ability's speed and strength are incredibly phenomenal that even Meruem couldn't counter it but instead had to just take them head on.

Meruem killed Netero without ever using any nen abilities. He beat Netero with brute strength, and even then, it was like he was playing around with Netero so that he could learn his name. From the beginning, Meruem wanted to only talk with Netero, so the latter had to bait the fight with a game.
Pariston is useless?
Pariston's cameo was short but he wasn't useless to the plot.
! We saw Pariston, when the corrupt politician was thinking to the hunter who helped him.Pariston, some hunters and the politician, destroyed the innocent clan of Rengoku, Gaki and Shura. And he was having a good time during the panic, it was funny.
Meruem had most certainly unlocked his nen by the time he went to go fight with Netero. Just because he wasn't actively using a hatsu doesn't mean that he wasn't using aura to enhance his attack power, speed, stamina, and endurance, not to mention defense (which seems absolutely necessary against such a mindbogglingly powerful nen ability). He had ant armor, sure, but there's no doubt in my mind that the king was even more durable once he had unlocked his nen and decided that his purpose in life was to rule with force.

his hatsu is to absorb other peoples nen when he eats them what use would that had against netero?
@Issho: I was replying to x20a, who said that Meruem didn't use nen in his fight against Netero. So what if he didn't use hatsu? He was still using aura, so he was still using nen.
Truth be told, I think that it would have been interesting if Meruem's hatsu had been used in the fight. If he had eaten Netero's leg instead of just cutting it off, there could have been an alternative explanation for the king's improvement throughout the battle (and his eventual victory despite being so outclassed, initially).
I don't think that the gungi explanation for why Meruem eventually won is bad. But the parallel that Togashi was drawing between Netero and Komugi could have been taken even further if he showed that it was impossible for the king to beat Netero without resorting to violently devouring him and his abilities.
interesting approach it would surely be an epic sight meruem with neteros hatsu and I don't know if he was getting better imo he was just getting used to neteros attacks
Just burned through last 7 chapters. I think it took me more than a half hour.
