Looking at what's been told to me from all sides, and as someone who doesn't come here so I'm about as unbiased as can be on this one… near as I can tell the situation is this.
-1up has provided merchandise and sales for several years now, and formerly actually had very positive feedback
-1up has as of late (for several months now) has become overwhelmed, and so his service and response and attitude has become more lackluster.
-some individuals, in particular diloul, have gotten fed up with this level of service, but a lot of it has to do with pre-orders that aren't even out yet.
Obviously, figuring out financial situation and what's owed to you is your own affair, but for the time being, no one is being banned or blacklisted.
-1up. Try to provide better customer service and respond in more regular and timely fashion. As of right now, your current record does you no favors and its only going to lose you customers... and if you continue at this level of service we may have to block transactions with your site from here. I don't believe you are cheating or scamming your customers at this point, but your customer service of late is definitely seeming to be an ongoing problem.
-diloul. You seem to be making this personal and are actively attacking... cut it out. Use the report function first, before doing this sort of thing at length in public.
-everyone else. Be cautious when buying from sellers that currently have an irregular record
If this continues to be a problem, and is reported by more than one individual, we'll take greater steps then, consider this an all around warning. We're also going to see about getting more staff into this section in general.
Basically, just remember the guidelines about collectible selling.
- There are threads and people here to help each other acquire various collectibles. Arlong Park and its moderators/administrators are not responsible for any of these transactions or any sort of financial loss as they are private transactions. All transactions are deemed as “at your own risk.” Disputes should be first handled between seller and buyer via private communication. If the issues do not get resolved, you may then escalate the issue to the sub-forum moderator. Any individual proved to have cheated or scammed another forum member will be banned immediately.
You need to contact us when there's a problem, particularly when it's offsite… otherwise we have no way of knowing. But, personal transactions, or lack thereof, are your own business and risk.
