One Piece: Unlimited World Red (2014 Worldwide Release; 3DS/Wii U/PS3/Vita)

Could be this game he's talking about, probably not. I really don't know. Regardless, I felt it appropriate to this post up here just in case.
I think it might be the attack on titan 3ds game. I heard that it might be getting localized so it being dubbed isn't so surprising as they have all the voice actors
-
So concrete release date is out.
North America on July 8th
Europe on June 27th -
Yes the release date is out, along with new screens of Fujitora and others that will apper in the colosseum mode:
-
I'm okay with this, but I understand the people who wanted the dub.
-
Oh well, good thing this is exactly what I expected so I'm not too disappointed. Still, they could have just told us this right from the start.
Anyway, I'm still getting the game and I'll probably really enjoy it too, but the long and sad journey for a new dubbed OP game in the states unfortunately continues…
One day, it will come. One day.
-
Meh, I'm just glad there's finally a release date
-
I just noticed the Day 1 bonus! I need this, but Mario Kart 8 and my trip to Disney are going to leave me so broke :(
-
So EB Australia has finally updated with the Strawhat and Chopper Editions. $140 for the Chopper Edition. So fuck that.
-
So 19 of the 20 playable characters have been shown. Wonder who the 20th character would be. Any guesses?
! 1. Luffy
- Zoro
- Nami
- Sanji
- Usopp
- Robin
- Chopper
- Franky
- Brook
- Fujitora
- Ace
- Law
- Crocodile
- Hancock

-
I thought Doflamingo was playable?
-
Chopper´s Edition for PS3.
-
I guess if all of those pack costumes (sanji/chopper/luffy takoyaki) will get a DLC version for who'll buy the 3ds edition…
-
Anywhere where u can buy this ps3 chopper edition?
I couldnt find nothing on it. -
Nice to see confirmation that the Straw Hat Edition will indeed be part of the Chopper Edition. Not that it'll matter much to me, considering I won't be playing the PS3 version, but yeah. Now I just have to find a place to order it…

The press release only listed the Straw Hat Edition DLC as exclusive and not available at a later date, so yes, the Takoyaki Pack will most likely be available as DLC for all four versions.
-
Game is lacking character selection.
-
I thought Doflamingo was playable?
He might be just a boss character only like some of the other ones. Hoping its a new one from the current arc.
-
sooo, special missions to revive some of the coolest battles of one piece ? :o
-

I pre-ordered from game stop and so far the only version I have seen was the Strawhat edition that comes with the vita.

No I hope we might get those later on seeing as the costumes actually add more that an appearance change.

Game.co.uk just let me know they don´t ship the limited editions overseas. I guess "Only at Game" means there will be not another retailer in UK, so I still don´t know where should I purchase this game.
I think EB Games Autralia will not ship to Europe. So it seems Amazon.de is the only option.Do you guys know if german DLC works on UK account? I guess no.
I don´t buy german games. Is there english languauge option?
-

How can they have Fuji playable but not Doffy? Laaaaaaaaaaame.
-
The European Bandai Namco facebook page says that Doflamingo is indeed playable, so…
@Bamco:
We have new One Piece Unlimited World Red screenshots and character artworks for you as well as new details about the Battle Coliseum Mode!
This mode will feature 20 playables characters including Ace D. Portgas ‘Flame Fist’, Boa Hancock, Fujitora, Trafalgar Law, Donquixote Doflamingo and obviously the 9 Members of the Straw Hat Crew
Whitebeard, Shanks, Jimbei, Buggy will be also featured in this modeKinda strange wording - it seems to suggest that the four last characters will just be "featured", and won't actually be playable, though I thought we had seen screenshots to prove otherwise…?
Then again, maybe it's just a bit... poorly written. It's already got a few typos, so... :P -
Anyone know how the Wii U version works. Anyway of getting pre-order bonus or not. It's only available through eshop
-
The last one is for sure Doflamingo…. I hope
Found on Amazon.it
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Also on Gamestop,it , if you preorder there is a new Costume for Zoro
-
Dang, I'm envious of that Zoro armor too bad the US won't get it.
-

Assuming you mean the Straw Hat Edition, I think it would technically be possible for them to offer it as a Day 1 version for those who buy digitally as well, though iirc they haven't said anything about whether they'll do so or not yet. You could always ask them on their Facebook page, I suppose.
Dang, I'm envious of that Zoro armor too bad the US won't get it.
Well, it doesn't say anything about being exclusive, so I think it might be available at a cost for those of us who don't get it through pre-ordering.

Oh only reason I thought that was because Gamestop US only has strawhat edition as a pre-order deal. ALso for those wondering the wii u version will get a day one edition in the US according to Bandai's twitter. https://twitter.com/BandaiNamcoUS
-
I've been putting money aside to preorder both the 3DS and PS3 version, but I'll admit I'm a bit disappointed we ONLY get just the DLC stuff (which is still awesome since I hate having to pay for and dl extra stuff for a game way after the fact) compared to the Chopper Edition. Shame the US won't get it. I'd mainly get it for the art book, but am I the only one that just sees there being only a Chopper Edition as kind of a waste? I mean, it would've been awesome if there were other SH versions that gave you a specific wallscroll and keychain to that particular member. I would've jumped at a the chance for a Sanji Edition and Robin Edition! X)
-
Damn. I want that Chopper set so much. If it was the Wii U or 3DS version I'd be happy to pay the extra buuuut. PS3 version is the only version I know I don't want. And £85 is more than a little steep. I think I'll pass and get the regular versions on the consoles I want.
-
Yeah, it's pretty lame that there's no Wii U version of the Chopper Edition, seeing as it'll be the best version of the game. Then again, the PS3 version will most likely sell better due to the waaaay higher install base, so it makes sense from a business POV…
Also, considering you have crazy people like me who buy the Chopper Edition for the merchandise and the Wii U Straw Hat Edition to play the game, they make even more money this way. :P
EDIT:
am I the only one that just sees there being only a Chopper Edition as kind of a waste? I mean, it would've been awesome if there were other SH versions that gave you a specific wallscroll and keychain to that particular member. But then I'd have to buy all nine of them! D:
I'd rather Bamco don't take Ubisoft's route of limited editions where they have 10-15 different versions and you can't get everything in a single package, thank you very much. :P
-
Yeah, it's pretty lame that there's no Wii U version of the Chopper Edition, seeing as it'll be the best version of the game.
Where was this stated?
-
It wasn't technically stated anywhere, but it's just… logic, isn't it?
The Wii U is more powerful than the PS3, so I doubt it could be worse graphically or performance-wise (if anything it'd be better, though I doubt there'll be much of a difference either way), and it would also have access to the many Wii U exclusive features, like Off TV-play and a Miiverse community.
And it might even have the multiplayer option of one player using the GamePad screen and the other player using the TV, like the LEGO games and some others have had (so it wouldn't be restricted to split-screen), though that's just me being optimistic. Could happen, though.…Thinking about it, it's kinda strange that we've heard nothing about which Wii U features the game will be using... Though Off TV-play and Miiverse are pretty much automatically confirmed, seeing as 99%* of all Wii U games (and especially multiplat. games) have Off TV-play and I believe 100% of the games have Miiverse communities.
(* Rough estimate)
-
Game is lacking character selection.
More importantly, is lacking of Moves compared to Pirate Warriors 2.
You know, if anyone is expecting a excellent Action as PW2 is gonna be disappointed.
Anyway, is a good game.
-

LOL, I hear you, and as much as I'm a sucker for Limited Editions (preferably w/ anime sets) even I'd be able to live w/o my lesser fav SH sets. Sanji and Robin are my top favs, so it would've been nice to simply have an option imo. I mean, Chopper is cool and all that…but that wallscroll...eh...not something I'd be anxious to hang up...but then again, it's probably Chopper 'cause he HUGE in Japan. XD
Either way, I was finally able to put some money down for preordering both the PS3 and 3DS versions. Can't wait for them. Might save up a little more to buy both Pirate Warrior games in the meantime. Just gotta see how much both will cost in total and get a giftcard or something. ^^; Wished they could sell codes for the game so I could just redeem it...not really a fan of going out, getting a card for credit, then redeeming credit, then downloading the game. XP
-
Only things I'd really want from the Chopper Edition is the extra costumes and the artbook, the rest I don't care about. Too bad you can't pick and choose which extra content you want to get to save money, it's either all or nothing -__-
That Zoro armor looks sweet as fuck, I don't know why they wouldn't release it over here in the US but hopefully they do man, because I want that DLC. I'm such a sucker for alternate costumes for any game, I don't even know why but I am.
-
looks great
-
-
He is, that's "NEW Playable Character" in katakana above his head.
Colosseum Mode looks like a fighting game's arcade mode mixed with Tales of Vesperia's arena melees. Should be boatloads of fun.

Awesome, thanks for clearing that up.
