That and with an incorrect answer to a question that was never asked.

Season 3 is actually possible? What??
I actually just bought the first season on BD the other day. I had only seen the first handful of episodes prior (until the Red Tornado episode) but I liked the comic and saw some interesting stuff from later in the show which encouraged me to buy it. It's a shame it was canceled and, honestly, I doubt it really would come back. I'm still waiting for Season 3 of Batman the Brave and the Bold to come out on BD (which might never happen).
It wouldn't be the first series to be saved or brought back by Netflix.
But it would need some serious viewing numbers.
Now we can experience the complete feeling of "what, who is this guy, and why is that character dead?" for real, when a timeskip and a hiatus meet.

well, there's my excuse for watching Young Justice on netflix.
Its funny, because I just recently watched some clips from the show on youtube and it's still as powerful as when I first saw it. The whole timeskp thing might've thrown me off a bit but it still maintained some good characterization for most of its cast.
! Also Wally can come back from his vacation in the speedforce.
Viewership wasn't the problem for Young Justice or GL:TAS on Cartoon Network; it was the fact that merchandise didn't sell anywhere near enough to offset production costs though a lot of the blame there should go to the Green Lantern movie's spectacular failure at the box office. Retailers didn't want anything to do with DC toys there for a while.

Now if only you can go around telling that to everyone who still think it was canceled because the show was drawing viewers entirely from the wrong demographic or insist the show was canceled in favor of Teen Titans Go.

Both those things are true however. Not the sole reason, but they were factors.
I always chalked YJ's cancellation up to it being an action show stuck on a network that clearly favored comedy and action-comedy oriented shows. Not helped by it being an expensive show to produce.
I want it so much ;___;

i don't think they even made that much merchandise. Like I specifically remember that being a thing

The demographics didn't help; normally they'd argue that high viewership but low sales just means that the show's not had time to move merchandise yet. But a show with low sales and heavy female viewership is pretty much dismissed as a show that isn't going to make up that ground.

Yeah, there wasn't much but it didn't do well either. I remember there being talk about how the toys kinda sucked on top of everything else but it's pretty much always the show's fault and never the network or toy company.
The toys sucked AND were over priced. There were the smaller cheapy ones (with no Miss Martian or Artemis) with barely any articulation. And then there were the 6" ones that had a bit more articulation, but sold for $20. ooooooh, they came with a part of a stone gargoyle so they can pretend to be Batman or something? This line did have Artemis in it, but again, not the whole team. I don't think Kid Flash was in the bigger set.
People don't want to buy a half set of figures, they're gonna want to get the whole team.
Just streamed all of season 2 over the past week. I've done my part. Get on it, Netflix!
Now stream it again as background noise for your dog. You don't have to watch it yourself, just let it run.
Damn Robby I know you didn't like the timeskip in season 2 but that's a bit harsh don't you think?

Robby's saying that Netflix is currently checking out the view numbers, so try your best to keep Young Justice running on Netflix, even if you don't have enough time to watch it yourself.
Though Netflix also asks periodically if you want to continue watching to make sure people aren't just playing it in the background or didn't fall asleep watching Netflix. Still, support however you can I guess.

I was just saying find any excuse you can to keep it on loop since Netflix is watching the numbers.
If Young Justice is actually renewed for a 3rd season I just might actually watch the 1st two. I've only seen an episode here and there but I liked what I saw.
Even if its not renewed you should still watch it. It was a fairly solid two seasons, unless you feel strongly about the time skip.
I started watching from a bit before where I left off, which was shortly after the Invasion arc started. Due to the live action DC stuff I sorta started having Marvel bias make me less interested in watching the cartoons again. But I'm glad I started up again. Aqua Lad will always be my favorite. Maybe now I can muster up the interest in finally catching up on Justice League and all those movies.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/11/07/young-justice-returning-for-season-3 holy shit season 3
All I can say is YES!
Ummmm yay ?
Can we have the rest of Teen Titans?
If it's as good as the first two seasons, then I'm on board the hype train. I remember that little cliffhanger at the end of the second season then suddenly finding out that the series was cancelled. I was sad for a while, but it did finally get me to watch the Justice League animated series finally. I'll need to rewatch the two seasons again.
! Then cry for that death at the end of the second season again. That one really hit me.
Wow. I… I never thought that would have been possible. CN actually caved in for once. This is going to be sweet. You know, assuming there isn't some major twist like the animation style being completely revamped or unnecessary voice actor switches.
I still wouldn't mind season 3 of Green Lantern: The Animated Series being green-lit too. But that has nowhere near as much of a following as Young Justice despite having some great writing and character development when you get past the off-putting 3D animation-style (which does grow on you after a while).
^ I got past it…..still didn't really follow it:ninja: (It wasn't bad FYI just didn't really bother with it for some reason).
Bold predictions:
The entire cast will change again.
Everything will play into the hands of the villains.
A bunch of plot points will be set up, the show will be cancelled again, and we'll never get any payoff for any of it.

That's cool. It doesn't really become captivating unless you push through the first third/half of season one.

I believe there was an interview way back when that said season three was planned to have ANOTHER timeskip lol. But yeah, that sounds like a decent wager.
He has broken his 2 season curse!!
Can we have the rest of Teen Titans?
Teen Titans GO is canonically the follow up. Not the follow up anyone wanted but… They've made a ton of references and call backs. Control Freak rebooted their reality.

Not CN. Netflix.
Not CN. Netflix.
Ah, my bad. IGN never bothered to mention that it's going to be on Netflix (they only mentioned how Netflix helped get the show more viewers). Netflix is definitely the best choice.
The upside/downside of it means we don't get any episodes till the entire season is done (at least a year from now.)
The upside is it means all the episodes at once!
He has broken his 2 season curse!!
Gargoyles was 3 seasons….though I know some of us won't count that for a couple of reasons.
The article I read specifically mentions that they're being dodgy about where it's going to air.
Hyped for them to air the first two episodes then take three months off from showing any episode

Weisman wasn't involved in season 3. (and it showed) Nor was he involved in Max Steel or Star Wars Rebels after the first season.
The two season curse is his, not the shows he works on. For whatever reason he's never been on a show past its second season.
Nor was he involved in Max Steel
He was involved in that?….wikipedia didn't say, unless I overlooked it.

There's been more than one Max Steel series. Weisman was on the 2000 show.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Steel_(2000_TV_series)
The second season without Weisman very quickly wrote out half the cast, ended all the romance subplots, changed the roles of a bunch of characters and the entire premise.
And then the third season dropped the premise of that season and changed them to an extreme sports team that happened to do spy missions.
And then the dvds were just straight up reboots that kept none of it.
And then the current series which I've had zero interest in.

I figured it was the most recent series that seemingly came and went not that throwback, but the more you know I guess.
Wow, open IGN, see the title, can't believe it's true. So whelmed.
Fantastic! Took a little time adjusting after the time skip but loved season two and was looking forward to Darkseid. Let Cartoon Network have the elementry kid market, bring the teen and young adult stuff to Netflix.

Agreed. Wish it wasn't 3D but the show overall was getting better. Razor's character arc was great. Think they were hinting at Yellow Lanterns coming (if I remember correctly), wanted to see them in action.

I thought season two's plot was a bit rushed, personally. The Reach not being all that interesting after a while and the timeskip didn't help much. But it was still definitely a good season.
And yep. Sinestro shows up in season two. And there's an episode where Hal's crew ends up in a cave filled with mysterious yellow crystals that inhibited his constructs and were used to frighten space prisoners or something Scarecrow-style. They were definitely building up to the Sinestro Corps.
And that last scene in the final episode never stops giving me a speck of hope…
!
As soon as rumors came out months ago, it was obvious they picked it up and was developing hype.
