Dofla being alife is dumb luck!
Here is why: All the toys have been enemies of Dofla or his crew. His enemies over the past ten years. He forgot about all of them. Then they come all back at the same time. Doflas mind must be overwhelmed at the moment. Think about it. Someone like Kyros wasnt surely the first enemy that came back to Doflas mind. Then he jumps out in front of Dofla. Dofla sees him. His overwhelmed mind realises oh fuck it`s this guy. Kyros is super fast. Oda didnt show us his Jet walk for nothing and the swiftness of Rebecca which she learnt from Kyros.
There is no confirmation in the manga that Law has seastone handcuffs.
There was no immediate need. Doffy kicked his ass previously. He is badly injured and got 3 bullets in his chest. Law should be on the brink of death. Dofla underestimated Law. If it wasnt for Law Dofla would be dead.
The question is why Law saved him. I am not sure about that. People tend to overcomplicate.

1: Dofla having a logia? For me this is bullshit. A string logia would be terrible and make no sense. Then basically everything can be a logia. Mr.3 should be a logia than and many other paramecias we have met.
2: Pica saved him with a stone clone? There is no hint that he did, other then the fact that he has seemed to vanish from the fight with Zoro. Furthermore it all happened in seconds so i dont see him saving Dofla like that.
3: Doflamingo has pacifista of himself? Bullshit. When Dofla goes to PH we see his people talking about him going out on his own again and many other situations when there should have been hints to him having clones walking around. Even his people like Bufallo and Lady 5 dont notice? Violet didnt notice that for 10 years? Why wouldnt she tell Kyros that this might be a Doflaclone? They have been chilling on the balcony for some time now.
4: Law saved Dofla because he needs him for something?! We see Law a few panels before Dofla gets his head cut off. He is awake and mummbling something. We know that his power is cutting people exactly that way we see here with Dofla.
Every swords that cuts in a "room" cuts like this. Law controls everthing that happens in his "rooms". We dont know why yet but i believe that he did it to further his plans or to confront Dofla about Cora san or something else.

On another note. Nice thinking by Sabo winning the tournament and opening up the basement in one move is awesome. On the last side we can see that the he is standing at the "core" off the ring while the other fighters all fall down. We will see if that is enough to win the tournament. Even if he isnt announced as the winner he will take the fruit righteously because he knows he has won. But what do the revos want in Dressrosa. Maybe plundering Doflas weapons and smiles for themselves? Excited all the way.

badass chapter. now the fights that matter will start as of next chapter. I also think that either bastille or Fujitora beat franky. Theres no way in hell those other guys could have beat him even if its 3 of them.

A couple of things jump to mind;

• Anyone who thinks Doflamingo is actually dead is stunningly naive.

• I personally think it's a Pica rock clone that Kyros decapitated in this chapter. Everything goes tits up -> Pica disappears -> Dofla is shockingly decapitated.
  It all points in that direction for me. Also there's no blood, which means 1 of 2 things. Either Kyros just cut something that isn't made of flesh and blood, or Law used his Ope Ope no Mi powers. Since Law is most certainly shackled with Kairoseki (since..you know…he's not just teleported away) that leaves only the former.

• Burgess could have destroyed the ring like that anytime he felt like it, he just didn't want to.

That's the first thing that came to my mind as well, but I'm not that sure.

He seemed to be uncharacteristically surprised there, though, so it might be that it was simply a puppet. Even though the situation was a big shock to Dofla, I still can't see him as a guy who doesn't have at least some kind of back up plan.

not to mention, assuming it is a rock clone, did doflamingo leave behind his clothes so that pica could inhabit them? or did he depart entirely? was this a pica clone the entire time? wouldn't someone have noticed doflamingo leaving and pica springing up out of the ground in the form of his master? did they plan this? how could they have coordinated it right at the moment pica arrived? this seems way too contrived

the fact law was shown right before the incident really makes me think it was his doing

I think maybe Doflamingo's power allows him to sew himself back together without taking serious damage or something. So he's not a logia, but he can take damage most paramecia users wouldn't be able to … a bit like Marco's fruit, he takes the damage and then repairs it.

Of course there was no immediate need. Law had been soundly beaten by Doflamingo and if he'd tried anything else he would have been beaten again. Plus if you remember back to earlier, Law said he needed to save his strength to fight Doflamingo, suggesting that using his fruit is severely taxing. I think it's safe to say that he has been well and truly taxed by the beatdown he suffered from an opponent who barely broke a sweat.

And as for why he would save Dofla - Law is portrayed as one of the sharpest schemers in the series. There could be any number of reasons. It might even be as simple as Law wanting to do it himself.

C) CP0 is still on Dressrosa and could have helped Dofla with the death play

Luffy hasn't gotten his hands really dirty yet, so this would be either Oda getting in a major hurry or a major change of pace if he were dead, lol.
The first thing that came to mind was thinking he must be a Logia…
The second thing was, maybe he actually is a paramecia and within that moment still has the consciousness to bring his head back on with strings (a bit odd, but)...
The third was that Law was planning something already with Room and that attack happened to be at the same time (also unlikely)...
Of course, Oda could have some crazy stuff planned like other people mentioned too (clones, robots, maybe even a df user that can clone people), but guess we'll have to wait til next week to see.

A full-strength Law would be able to escape easily enough, but does a battered and defeated Law have the same power? It could be argued that Flamingo's executives would be enough to track him down and give him another hiding.

In terms of using normal chains, why not chain up your prisoner to show that you have dominated him? Even if the chains are useless the fact that they are on shows who is in charge. Doflamingo did the same thing when he shot an unconscious Law. The bullets didn't do any appreciable damage but they proved who was the boss.

The mighty Doflamingo who has CP-0, an Admiral and Kaido in his corner? Who has no enemies he knows about except Law and the strawhats? He knows Law since he was a little kid. I dont find it that unbelivable that he hasnt restrained him with seastone handcuffs. In Doflas mind he had already won some minutes ago. Law was no real thread to him. Even if he escapes half dead. My impression is that Donflamingo was getting flashbacks from the last time he saw Kyros and got confused, because that action was like direct continuation from that scene. Obviously it's too sudden for his head to roll, but I need a confirmation that DD can also control DF powers of other people to consider this kind of theory.

I mean, that if we want to go with the explanation that it's Law who cut Dofla's head so he doesn't die (but appears to be dead to the eyes of everyone else), Law had to use his sword. If a Room was active or not is one thing, but even with the Room activated, it is Law that must make the cut. That's why, if everyone is convinced that it was in fact Law, controled by Dofla, that cut his head, he had to activate the Room, reach for his bigass sword, get free of his shakles, stand up, and make a swing with that sword. All of that with no one noticing.

I mean, it could happen, but holy guacamoles is that an overcomplicated situation and requires huuuge leaps of faith.

Now, can Dofla control other people's DF's? I don't know, but I'm inclined to think he can't, thus making this scenario even more implausible.

it doesn't need to be at full power to make a room big enough to extend outside the castle and switch with a pot or something like that..we've seen how big law's room can be at full power at punk hazard,he just needs a fraction of that extension to escape,and only the stamina to make one "switch"..

also he can just make a room without anyone noticing (i don't think that yelling "room" is needed to do that,much like luffy doesn't need to scream the name of his attacks every time),and disappear in front of everyone,with no hint about where he actually go…he already did that in dressrosa when he switched the kairoseki chains with normal ones that were in another room

That is only the case if you assume that Dofla give a big deal about Law. From Doflas point of view he had already destroyed Laws alliance and beaten them. He looked at himself as untouchable. His only concern might have been Fujitora coming back to the castle making trouble. As long as there isnt anything specific in the manga Law having seastone handcuffs his ability and his appearance in the panel before we have to assume that Law saved Doflamingo. The reason is still unknown. I dont think there is a plothole if this were the case. We just have to wait for Laws explanation.

dofla wants law there in the castle,if not,why he took him away in the first place?and if he want's him in his palace,why would he leave such a blatant opening to law for an escape?it doesn't matter if he thinks law is a threat or not..he wants him under his control and in hids castle,chained,and he can be sure law will stay this way if he doesn't use kairoseki,since the ope-ope can be renamed the "escape-escape" fruit if we go on what he is able to do with it.

I think it's easier than that.
In the few seconds that it takes before Kyros arrived, Law decided to save DoFla (maybe with a short conversation with DD).
Law activated room, and let Kyros do the cut (who said it must be Law's hand to control the knife/sword inside the "Room"?).
Question is: why? not sure.
What next: Law will release DoFla somewhere safe, either in a few seconds or a few days (a few chapter away, anyways).

doesn't really make much sense dofla saying "I don't really care to have you imprisoned here,that's why I've brought you personally here and chained to that chair,even though i know that those chains are useless against you because you can escape from them in one second by switching with that pot right there."
