Has anyone ever had the problem, where the text box doesn't display? I figured the page just didn't load properly, but even after refreshing, it still doesn't work. I have to reopen the page in a separate tab. I used to have a picture of this, so that I could show what I'm talking about. Alas, it was recently lost when my flash drive got wiped.
And while it's not a huge deal, I often see Crickeylynn and Dirt Monkey Al listed as currently active users, even if they're offline. The latter hasn't actually been on in over a month. Again, nothing major, but it is a case of odd forum behaviour.

What do you mean with textbox? The area where you type your post? If yes, yeah I have that as well every now and then, but it's so rare that it doesn't bother me. Re-opening google chrome usually did the trick for me.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm referring to. It used to happen to me several times a week. Thankfully, it's let up since then, but it still happens every so often.

I just want to mention that for me the whole Sunday the site was unavailable.
Don`t know if someone else had this problem or if it was just server related. -
I had access and it wasn't mentioned by anyone else, but I imagine other websites worked for you while ours did not?

I checked the server and host and while there was emergency maintenance Sunday night / Monday morning from 12AM-3AM that could have resulted in packet loss, I'm seeing the server itself showing a huge lack of activity between 4AM and 11AM EST on Sunday. Sound about right? I'll open a support ticket to get that downtime taken off of this month's invoice. Thanks for the heads up!

Try CCleaner, then MalwareBytes, then if that doesn't work use ADWcleaner.
If that doesn't help, you can ask here

Sometimes when I log in in, I then go to another page and randomly find myself automatically logged-out.
I'll be typing a post, and it tells me I need to log in to post, when I already was.
Same for some links to Arlong Park. -
We have a few DNS entries that point to the same place: www.arlongpark.net, forums.arlongpark.net, and www.apforums.net. Each one will cache your login separately, so if you follow a link that sends you to one of the above entries and on that entry you are _not_ logged in, then you will have to log in before you can post. If you have it saved for all three you'll be fine, but at some point we'll just start forwarding all of them to one place.

People on FB have also been reporting weird browser specific problems with Chrome and Firefox just downright not loading the forums at all (with either address) on their machines. It sounds like something that doesn't have much to do with our end, but since it's been at least three guys saying the same thing between now and Feb 7th it could be something real.

Posting here to corroborate Dry's story, though I'm starting to think it's on my IP/ISP end. I haven't been able to access AP in eleven days on any network around my campus, though I can access it just fine through a proxy server, and it was working right as rain before the 7th.

Hmm, I'd need a little more information to troubleshoot. Kitsune, what OS and browser are you trying to access the site from? Are you able to load any other vBulletin sites? Have you tried all of our addresses? www.arlongpark.net, www.apforums.net, forums.arlongpark.net? Hell I'd even try to load a cached version from Google.

I'm on Firefox and Windows 7. None of those links work. I can access other vB sites just fine. The problem also exists on my cellphone's default browser, so it's not just my computer.

Does the same apply to your cellphone's data plan, or just wireless networks? I doubt it's DNS related, so I imagine the answer to that is data/WiFi yields the same result. For the sake of being thorough, can you ping the forums from a command prompt, to rule out DNS issues? And you guys mentioned Firefox and Chrome, so does that mean Internet Explorer and Opera (or any others) are fine?

I have an issue accessing the spoiler sub forum on Tapatalk. I am logged into the forum on this handle through the Android application, so I should have access granted to the forum as I believe it's hidden from unregistered users. This is a first for me and I'm using a new smartphone, a Motorola Droid Maxx. In the past, not December, I had access to this section on my Acer A500 tablet. I do not have access to the device now. I'll update this later after checking the tablet for access. Anyone else restricted from the spoiler threads on Tapatalk?
