Funny how Usopp used his 100T hammer, I guess to try and scare Sugar? Shows he never intended to fight her and tried to beat them.

That last page while funny, in the grande scheme, is lame. I was complaining about the flashbacks but this week it was cute and I was actually more invested in that than Ussop's so called "victory," or more of Sugar's self defeat. I'm not going to even say it's a victory in the sense that he won the fight, sugar knocked herself out. At least this means they'll have allies. I like the idea that Ussop's lie about thousands of followers will come true.
Also, I wonder what Sabo's trying to do, the underground is too deep for the destruction of the coliseum to bury. And has anyone wondered if DD dug that underground? It must have been there since the void century which makes me think it was involved in pluton or something.
this constant build up to Rebecca doing something….I hope Oda delivers. If even Fairy Tail can have women kick as much ass if not more, than One Piece should show it easily.

Wow, what an emotional chapter that was. It had everything! FInally Usopp gets to shine - kind of in a weird way though!
And it seems the Mugiwaras made a few new friends…So the recruting of supportes continue! And that last page: Hilarious! Epic!Very, very cool chapter!!!

The chapter was really weird.
The flashback part was great, but the end…
Usopp scary face would be a nice move in any other battle, but I think all these past events were way too dark and serious to end it with such a "goofy" thing. -
Ahm … Violet, Scarlet, Kyros and King Riku are standing around Rebecca and looking at her. It is the panel where the little Lady is named. But ... who is the fifth person?

He's out, just sucks that a SH (cough: robin) probably won't be taking out Trebol. So many new characters taking away from SHs who haven't shown their full growth yet is a little disappointing.

Sereques - seems like I was overestimating a bit hype Kyros has gotten, oh well. Maybe he would have chances against Doflamingo, maybe. I somehow expected somebody like big famous name to be shown trying fighting with Kyros but Oda decided to go with not so predictable route. Same as with Kyros leg and how Ussop ended up. God it was weird and funny to see last page
Franky is beaten and its not such big suprise if it was everyone against him only, he still lasted pretty long being against 2 of Doflamingos mid-power fighters and marines with Bastille.
Ussop had no chance against Trebol and strawhats are lucky that Sugar tried to torture Ussop with that thing and that it backfired at her lol…Seems like next chapter chaos will start, still seems bit too early for Doflamingo vs Luffy somehow..

Lol at Usopp's very own version of CoC to send Sugar foaming at the mouth. I'm glad with all the clarifications esp regarding Burgess' attack, which it seems wasn't dial related. Scarlett's death scene was sad.

Ah, man, I had tears in my eyes. Both kinds, really. To see the whole story of Kyros/Mr. Soldier finally brought to bear was really, really sad - I'm not sure OP has made me feel like that in quite a while now.
And… Usopp's 'victory'? Hilarious. I'll do my damndest to avoid reading the inevitable tide of idiots whinging on here about how the plot point isn't to their liking because it wasn't what they thought of, it wasn't serious enough, it didn't allow Usopp to be break through his cowardice ala Arlong Park's conclusion, blah blah blah - I know this garbage will just irritate me no end.
It was a very One Piece way to handle such an important point, particularly given the presence of Usopp (who's often utilised for some of the more ridiculous developments in OP arcs). The Enel face just got put into a distant second place!!
And... that's it! - Party time! The toys ain't toys no more! That face woulda scared the shit out of me too! Go get him back Kyros!!

Yeah. It just sucks b/c the assumption right now is Zoro and Luffy are fine with enemies of this arc's caliber but it seems Robin and the others aren't. But they won't be fighting and therefore won't be growing so what will happen in the next couple arcs if this continues? More lack of growth and getting out classed. I have faith especially since I don't want ~3 SHs people to the only "main" fighters.

Loved this chapter - we finally have all the pieces to move this to the final fights. I think Franky isn't down yet - it's the SUUUUUUUUUPAAAAAAAAA pervert, I bet he'll go up and we'll see the real fight now.
Also - the running joke with Enel face gets me every time - seems like Usopp became the master of it, first with Perona, now with Sugar.

Well to be honest… Are you suprised by it... The monster trio and even more Zoro and Luffy always gets the fight while the others do something else and maybe 1 or 2 are getting figths... In TB it was like this and even in Shiki movie or movie 7 it was like that.
And in this arc we have just too many characters and way too less SHs... Even more after Sanji and Co went away

The page where Kyros holds Scarlet. It really touched me. Has Oda ever done this before? Maybe many times but I can't recall right now this style. In which he purposely make bigger conversation baloons, minimises and blurs the faces with outer elements to give you it's happening fast and you've got the hold the moment but you can't… It really was something.
