Well that was an anticlimactic end to the chapter. I was really hoping Usopp would step up by the end of the chapter, but nope. I wonder if there's a reason why the Tontatta think their captain is the only one who can beat DD, or if that was it.

I think it was a pretty boring and useless chapter.
Nothing new and the plot is not really moving forward.
Maybe next week will be better.

One of the disadvantages of having multiple plots at once: the author can leave one unresolved while focusing on another. I was hoping the Sugar plan would have progressed further than this (like Sugar picking up her grapes with the Tatababasco sauce in the bunch). In the previous weeks, I was hoping Luffy and his current team would have somehow got past Pika–or at least fought him. And the week(s) before that, I was hoping the current gladiator match would have progressed more. I get excited about one scene and then Oda switches to another scene, and by the time he goes to that previous scene I lose interest because I wanted the scene he switched to to have made some progress.
I hope this makes some sense.

too many plots happening at once imo, its starting to look pretty bad about the pacing in the colosseum. its almost as if there isn't any constant fighting and they are just standing around talking to eachother.

That's not what Haki does.
Armament Haki just creates an armor (that can also be used to strikes DF users actual bodies.) It doesn't protect against DF abilities, even if its CoC.

Also, having CoC as a way around DF effects would be a crappy move.

kyros most likely got turned into a toy during the sack of dressrosa 10 years ago. obviously that place was a chaos and dangerous. sugar most likely only able to turn him into a toy before retreating again back to safety.

I didnt like this chapter.
I didnt like the entire, she forgot to make a contract with the strongest toy Kyros.
I didnt like the fact that Usopp is once again cowardly as hell and wants to abandon the "ship" or at least get away.
I didnt like that we are about to see Diamante explaining to Rebbeca about how her mother was killed to ignite her will, or some poo like that…
I didn't like the fact that entire chapter was dedicated to letting us know they are betting it all on one legged soldier because he is Kyros and had to show him get kicked around for 10 pages and make a run for it to make it all the more sympathetic or something.

I did like the bit about the ship and the quick chat between the little guys and Trebol who made them tell about Usopp and One Legged soldier.

All and all meh from my perspective, hope others enjoyed it more

It's Kyros, and Panda used the name correctly in previous chapters. It looks like the translator has no knowledge about the series and it's characters. That's a big mistake.

Pretty good setup chapter.

We finally get confirmation of what we've known for a while, that the one legged soldier is in fact the legendary Kyros.

The whole thing with Rebecca despairing over Kyros just being a lie to fool the prisoners was a really nice touch, adding to Kyros' impotence as a toy, unable to even give people hope without being accused of being a fake.

Oh, and my boy Diamante is awesome.

I'm about to get a lot of company on the Diamante bandwagon around here most likely, since he decided to strike the most hated woman in both Dressrosa and AP lol.

I think that refers to CoA, and it's armor protection against Law's cuts.
No where it mentions CoC as a protection against it, though.
