Well in all fairness, of Toei were to use the same methods that FUNi used for those far-too-shortlived Level sets, it would probably end up looking better than FUNi's sets did due to the fact that Toei has the original film-negatives, whereas FUNi's prints were in considerably less pristine condition… From what I can tell they are the best looking version we've gotten up till now though. And yeah, FUNi cancelling that by all accounts excellent release in favor of a product so heavily overfiltered that it makes the old Orange Bricks look faithful by comparison... as a fan of DBZ, I am offended. Again. Thank god I got all the Dragon Boxes while they were readily available, 'cause it sure looks like those are gonna remain the only competent English-language release of the entire Z-portion of the series.
I have the Dragon boxes and all of kai but too bad they half assed the new blurays
