Neptune did say his going to rethink their sentence so this might actually happen. And it would give Oda the opportunity to show the Fishmen Dojo.
But they were all left super aged and feeble. Unless the cover story involves an old folk's home I don't see that being a possibility.

What if we had one about Ao Kiji travelling around the New World, doing his whole "ally of justice" thing? It would be kinda like the Ace one.
I agree 100% with this. Monet is dead and not very interesting as a character. Yeti Cool Brothers way too obscure and meaningless. Kuzan on the other hand, is amazing and mysterious. It might almost be too "plot revealing" for a cover series though

Jango, Hatchan, Gedatsu.
Also it would imho be smarter using characters that could gain plot relevance through a CS again than showing a character that already has a highly significant role in the big picture.

He wouldn't necessarily have to do plot related things, he could just randomly wander around the new world, making Ice cream and winter wonderlands for random children, and freezing the random fodder pirate and then in like the last panel of his cover story it'll be like "And now Ao Kiji arrives at the Kaido fight island" and it just bleeds into the main story from there.

i read the manga but he said he must get his crew out of her influence and when they protect fishman island where were they during hody's attack he said only that he has put his crew under her jurisdiction to protect fishman island and not that the sun pirates themselves protect fishman island you should read the manga

Maybe not the most original or interesting idea, but I'm pretty sure the next (or maybe next next - it wouldn't be the first time when a character gets their cover story relatively late) will be "Monet's great search for Vergo('s parts)". I think that we will get first panel with shot on PH, the second will be Monet with text along the lines of "Somehow, I wasn't able to die for Young master.". On 3rd she finds some Vergo's part and starts searching for the rest. Then she meets characters like YCB and small dragon.
Ultimately, when she finds last part, they decide to go to Dressrosa, but then they get the news and read about what SH did and that DD is nowhere to be found. Last panel will present our Dream Team with comment "The born of the strongest bounty hunter squad". Yeah, yeah I know it would be boring, these are just my thoughts. -
I hope the next cover story will be as the straw hats' one, but about the secondary gladiators. so to have a two-pages story for every charas as Bluegilly, Elizabello, Hack, etc

What can the Yeti Cool Brothers bring to the table, when is pretty clear that the New World is heading to destruction. Oda is probably trying to make a link with Vegapunk and the Strawhats by taking the Kids and Brownbeard to meet Vegapunk.

That's better suited for a "Where are they now" segment.

I don't think Vegapunk will be revealed through a cover story.Then again, Garp was revealed in cover story, but that was even before we knew anything about Luffy's grandfather. Personally I think it will be terribly anti-climactic to reveal Vegapunk in a cover story.
And I think it's for the best the Yeti Cool Brothers stay MIA. They weren't very much of a highlight in the arc.

The kids are probably going to be treated for gigantification. And Tashigi told she would sent them there. Maybe we can follow Smokey and Thashigi founding the yeti brothers seeing snow on the reminding on the reminding of G5 and sending the kids on vegapunk's island.

Was the Caribou story exited? besides Tashigi is already on her way, so they can either stop at various location do some Marines jobs and get on their way, it will keep things interesting and will show some more about the New World and their situations.

• Buggy a guy that was friend with Red Hair Shanks.
• Coby the first guy that Luffy met and declared his dream about becoming a Marine in front of Luffy.
• Jango, I have no idea why this dude got one.
• Hatchan a fishman and Jimbi's name was first dropped there.
• Wapol.
• Ace looking for Blackbeard.
• Miss Golden week an agent that was involved in a massive organization that wanted to get their hands on an ancient weapon and the boss was a Shishibukai.
• Gedatsu a guy that sank on a cloud without bottom and ended up in Alabasta.
• Sky Island.
• Enel's who we saw leaving the Sky Islands on his flying ship in the main story
• CP9 a World Government organization that was attacked by their own people and who current members were said to be the strongest that ever formed it.
• Strawhat's separation.
• From the Deck of the World.
• Caribou and his knowledge.Nah I haven't. my point is the Yeti Cool Brothers didn't show any sings of knowledge or purpose that can lead to a cover story, Oda didn't make them said anything about them being part of an organization that can be explored later on in the story but yet he dropped the name of "Vegapunk" on that same island like 5 times, a scientist that we have to meet someday and something has to lead us to that encounter like Vegapunk learning about the Strawhats via the Kids and Brownbeard.

As much as I find the whole argument against the Yeti Cool Brothers not getting their own cover story because of the impact they did rather stretched (we could have as much as a cover story with Marguerite), that's just as a terrible argument. Especially just picking out three out of the list.
I personally don't want the Yeti Cool Brothers because they were complete throwaways - terrible ones at that. If they somehow redeem themselves in a cover story, great. But eh I would rather see Monet and Vergo's aftermath (though this will probably happen if there was ever a Doflamingo-related cover story after Dressrosa) or Brownbeard, really.
But for all we know we're going Skypiea 2.0 and have Wadatsumi fretting about in the ocean. Or Zeo's "I Got a Cover Story on Purpose"

Now Aokiji sounds like a great idea for a CS. A short one of what he has been up to and how he has gotten to the underworld (if he did). Also, the Axolotle fruit point is a good one. it could be a decent opportunity to learn something slightly random about DF that is slightly important (like Wapo-metal). Additionally, while i'd love to learn something about vegapunk (even if it is the shade of white of his lab coat) on a CS, i don't think this is the way it should be done by Oda. (especially if we had a whole arc about his runner up, so VP is too big for a CS. but then again this is Oda so who knows?)

So what, Caribou knew of Shirahoshi this one conver sotry (which didn't influence the events of the CS itself very much) and some other ones maybe knew some minor stuff as well, but CS never revealed anything too plot relevant. Yeah, the one with Coby showed Garp or Hatchan's Kamy & Macro, but these weren't characters we even knew beforehand of like Vegapunk. That's also why Smoker or Aokiji wouldn't be too obious choices. They are too important and involved characters in the plot, Oda should show important stuff of them in the main manga.

For Jango I said "I don't even know why this guy have one", Gedatsu sank in a cloud with no bottom and ended up in Alabasta, Wapol didn't have any information but he possessed the ability to create Wapometal which Oda was going to use on the story late on, Hatchan & the Arlong Pirates were the first one to mention Jimbi's name thus making a link that may be helpful in the future

Read what I've been saying about what I think is the way to go for the next cover story and look at the sentences where I said "VEGAPUNK DOESN'T HAVE/IS NOT GOING TO BE REVEAL IN THE COVER STORY".
