I don't know… perhaps because I spent months staring at Arlong as it played out through ASJ, I always found Chapter 84, page 15, top panel weird. It seems like Kuroobi's head is drawn strangely

x3 Maybe I should have put this in anime. But I really haven't seen any poorly drawn manga scenes either~ I just thought that this would be in the same category as OOC and Mistakes.

Oh yeah, I recall a lot, it'll take some time to locate them all though. The Laboon episode has a lot of them.
This scene always made me cringe a bit.!
And this, part of the problem is just that the screen is being stretched, but even normalized it still looks kind of funny…

hahaha that usopp one looked so wrong to me too! they were all off character in that episode… i think the kuro arc probably has some of the worst animation.

I don't have a pic, but go to the part of that recent episode where Franky tries to separate CP9 from Robin, Sanji, and Usopp. Or, a lot of other Robin/Franky scenes.

Umm…most of Movie 6's drawings. The backgrounds were great, but that crap in the foreground made me sick, like the artists just rushed through the drawings and focused only on animation.

That Enel pic made me laugh. XD I have another Enel pic somewhere, if only I can find it, I might have to cap it again.
And yes, there are a lot of really wierd movie 6 shots too, like that one where Luffy looks like an alien. -

In a lot of other animes, there are either bad parts in some episodes or quick parts that look horrible.
I'm reminded of Samurai 7, great animation all around, then around episode 6 the first half looked like Rugrats back in 1990.

Think of the VERY first episode, with the little wiggly squatted fingers and stuff….and then put that into a generally high quality show like Samurai 7...it was BAD.

It's not going to be an anime, it was just the same style of animation, like 90s low budget animation on a modern (usually great) quality anime.
It seems that in almost every series I've seen at least one episode (or half of one) looks really funky or bad.

Yeah, it was that episode. It cleared up (or wasn't noticable) by the middle-end though, but the beginning was horrible. That one scene of Shichiroji dancing….brrr
But, since I haven't watched much of the OP anime, I don't really notice things like that in it, and since the characters DO look weird...it's hard to tell if someone is off. Haha.

That is just my situation, i never notice when animation in One Piece is bad. But everytime a episode airs, tons of people say how this and that is bad and i am always realy i didn't notice anything. but in animes where the characters are a…"normal" i notice when something is wrong. And in that episode something was wrong, especially in the begining when Shichiroji is fighting that guy, that was so bad it hurt.

Some people just have different kinds of perception. Like those of us who see dodgy things in One Piece scenes or phallic symbols everywhere. XD Or those of us who think Chopper's replacement VA is gawdawful and those who can't tell the difference. I think being an artist myself makes causes me to be more aware of anomalies in drawings, because I've been trained to notice them.
spoiler tags are just like any other tag except you type spoiler in the brackets ([ spoiler ]). I think it's best to use that tag if you're posting more than one or two images or if the images are very large.
This image of Calipha still makes me laugh. XD

Maybe it's just because I read the manga like an insane fan when doing checks for mistakes, but there are some pretty crappy-looking mugs on main characters when they're in the background in the manga.

Around the time of her fight with Zoro in the manga, there was a really bad face-shot of Tashigi. It was actually pretty suprising.
In the anime, inconsistencies happen and disappear so fast it's hard to tag them all. But CP9, Franky, and Robin look like ass most of the time.

Does anyone else think that Kaku looks like Launchpad McQuack from Darkwing Duck in that picture? Because I can't shake that image. And Zoro looks like Vegeta, there, just because his head is too freaking round.
I'd compare Blueno to something else, but… I've never seen anything that horrific...

G8 is a fun arc, though I think there were many times when the drawing was kind of awkward, but I didn't mind them (except for this one of course)!

Ah, G8. I saw a little bit of it. I recall that some episodes actually had really good animation. Like 202 or something. -

Sure, I guess voice acting can fill in some of the emotion missing from the anime artwork, but it didn't help that Luffy's actress was pretty weak at this point.
That was one of my favorite scenes from the manga, and I was looking forward to it in the anime, and I was sorely disappointed.

Jeez, there's some horrible stuff here. I'm unable to scap episodes, but in episode 264 their was this weird ass blob of flesh on Nami. At first I thought it was part of her breast, but upon closer examination it was just a curve of flesh in the wrong place.
Their are a lot of bad Robin's, especially in the backgrounds. Their are also some pretty weird looking background Choppers.
