Perhaps funimation decided to change the cover art for this one like they did for s3v5. That would explain the hold up and I wouldn't be surprised, it's not the best cover we've seen.
I was thinking that, too. Mainly because amazon hasn't shown a picture of it yet. I welcome new box art. The current one sucks.
I'd be really happy is Voyage 2's cover wasn't the final either due to the lack of symmetry.

Not sure if you realize that you just expanded what I was saying, Mikey. I was implying that rightstuf isn't the way to go, for this one. Amazon has it for 24. Cheaper than Best Buy.

Make sure you ship to store. Walmart rarely gets anime series on release day.

Most likely it won't be until they reach the point when the episodes premiered; since that point already passed for Toriko's sets, that leaves it for an upcoming OP set.

Nope. They can't even get simulcasting rights to it.
If it's included in the episode count, then yes, I definitely think they will.
Even if they couldn't go on the simulcast? They skipped Episode 1 of Toriko which was the first crossover with OP on their DVDs so I think they'll probably continue to do so.
It's possible for them to dub them I think but they have mentioned they have a separate negotiation process.

Just because they don't have them doesn't mean they can't get them. Who knows, as we've seen with a number of other things, ie, the first Fairy Tail license and the Toriko dub, they've got them, dubbed them, then waited (for whatever reason) to release them, which was only a short time after announcing they had the license.
In other words, it's entirely possible that they have them but can't release them just yet.
I wouldn't be surprised in the least to learn that by the time they get to the crossover episodes in One Piece's episode count that we learn they've held the rights for years.

That's disappointing if true. There's plenty of other titles I can think of that I would like them to rescue from bandai other than that.

Cena probably means that since it wasn't even animated in HD, that the blu-ray release is pretty pointless.

Yeah, CB looks pretty damn nice on BD. Never underestimate how nice older anime can look on BD when given the proper treatment. YYH, Tenchi, and Gunbuster (just to name a few) look gorgeous in HD imo. ^^
I don't know how to feel about the back layout being change. Guess it isn't a big deal either way.

I agree that Episodes 207+ would look great, and deserve the treatment, but doing that to the originally animated in 4:3 episodes just looks bad.
I'm pretty sure it would be like the special edition, where most faces were blurry looking, and they cropped the screen, cutting out some of the vital details of the image.
Yeah, I really don't care much for Blu-Rays at this point, if they wanted to start releasing Blu-Rays they should have started with the collections or season 4..though it wouldn't hurt to start combo packs with Thriller Bark..
For anyone who gets the boxset early, can you tell me how they handled the ending sequence? The web stream kept the fanart intact, but I'm wondering if the actual DVD will keep it. They should change in each episode if they're keeping them.
