It is a shame that I don't live in the U.S meaning I can't buy the episodes to watch, so I will have to watch when they hit the stream on FUNimation's site. Which since they never announced when they will be, I am guessing (and based on the pattern of past releases) this batch should go live via streaming on April 12th.

So, uhhh. Did I miss something? How come One Piece Season 13, Voyage 1 is on digital? Did they stealth add it or announce it prior and I just missed it? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/one-piece/8d6kgwxn6wcf?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab

So is everyone expecting an Episode of Chopper dub on Tuesday? I’m calling it for nope.
That would be a no, both the Alabasta movie and Episode of Chopper movie have already made it to Netflix in my country and as expected, the Alabasta movie has the dub, and Episode of Chopper is sub only

That is good to know, at least it is pretty safe to say that there shouldn't be any break's between arcs. For me it is always a worry when a major arc ends thinking there is going to be a break again. But since Toei is now funding the dub, it is probably safe to assume there won't be any break's anymore as I am sure FUNi probably wan't to catch up as close to the sub as they can.

@Blake:
The situation with straw hat chase is still weird. Cuz like, on one hand, you’d think they’d be making a bigger deal out of it. Half the posts abt it don’t even mention it. But at the same time, generally if you’re doing a double feature it’s safe to assume they’re both going to be in the same language, and you’d think they would specificy specifically if it’s NOT dubbed at that point.
Funny you should mention that as I was thinking the same thing. They advertised days for both dub and sub, and also said that the Mugiwara Chase feature was included in the screening (obviously both the sub and dub screenings as it didn't say that it was only going to be in sub screening), so it would be a bit weird to go to the dub screening and see the Mugiwara Chase feature play in sub before the dub movie plays

Event on Nov 20th. Hopefully some announcement or something will be here?
No doubt it probably will be. Didn't the last livestream event that FUNimation hosted with RogersBase have voyage announcement? I am sure this one won't be any different. In fact since this is only a few weeks away on November 20th, and given their announcing pattern, I wouldn't be surprised if they announce Season 12, Voyage 1. So in a way, this is kind of to be expected.
Though personally for me, I would love an announcement that no one is expecting to come out from this, like maybe some of the older movies getting dubbed. But of course, probably won't happen… But a guy can dream.

RE: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)
Now that Voyage Seven is out on Digital and coming to streaming on the 27th, and only 2 more voyages left to be released after that, one will have 13 episodes and the other should have 14. Which way do you think they will go? I think it would make more sense to have 14 episodes on Voyage Eight since that would take us up to Doflamingo's defeat, where as if it was 13, it would be the episode prior to his defeat.

We all had high hopes on the announcements today at this stream, but that was very underwhelming. They seemed to have hyped this stream up for nothing. More fun for the MHA fans over the One Piece fans.

RE: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)
So Funimation is having the "Summer 2021" preview on Friday 18th where they announce what new Anime titles they have picked up to Simulcast during the Summer season. They also hinted at other announcements. My theory is that because they haven't announced the slates for September 2021 and it is past the usual 15th when they do announce them, they may not announce them until the stream on Friday. They also mentioned they are going to announce new figures for the FUNimation shop on Friday. I am quite curious and wondering if the next One Piece set may be announced on Friday for Digital and Streaming as well, hopefully starting Tuesday, 22nd June for Digital. We can only hope if it is meant to be jam packed with announcements.
