But Doflamingo didn't break any rules from what he knows.
Being the Joker is already breaking a ton of rules.
It's the same way with Crocodile and how he kept his Baroque Works organization under wraps.
But Doflamingo didn't break any rules from what he knows.
Well to be exact he knows that Don is up to no good. Since he makes absolutely no effort to hide it
But since he can't prove it he's playing dumb and sweeping it under the rug
But hypothetically if he did bring in Don on it and Smoker confirmed it Akainu would probably back them up on it
Of course Don being a noble would still get slinked out of there but they could probably keep Caesar
Law cuts the meteor into half. Doflamingo dices the halves into fragments. Issho deflects all of them with his barriers! – The grandiosity of the current battle is truly epic!
I wonder what's the true extent of Fujitora's Devil Fruit capabilities. Do all of his attacks stem from gravity-manipulation or am I missing something over here?
Is it worth noting that Flamingo ran the Auction House that the Tenryuubitos participated it on occasion?
i don't think luffy will defeat DD easily or defeat him but i see in this arc DD will loose her factory and the protection from WG
the factory obviously but protection from WG im not so sure ….who knows maybe after all this donquixote might be able to retain his title as shichibukai since he has a special connection with the gorosei

Don't you mean the employment agency. Where absolutely no slave trade takes place

Exactly - DD's done a ton of stuff that breaks the rules under the joker nickname and now Fuji has been given reason to suspect that DD is joker because of Caesar Clown. On its own that's not really strong enough evidence to go after a guy who's clearly a big player and although Fuji still didn't hesitate in bringing down a meteor, it wasn't explicitly aimed at DD.
Fuji's next move will reveal more of his true character.
SSince I don't see Luffy totally stomping Smoky I really don't think he has any chance against an admiral.

fleet admiral (akainu) send fujitora to take down law and the straw hat… not to suspect DD ,
There's no reason to think that the factory has protection because it's run by Joker not Dofla - and until now the marines had no reason to suspect they are the same person.

if by smoky you mean smoker.luffy can stomp his ass any time now that he has haki…..and luffy does have a chance against an admiral and a big one at that
luffy he never a take a battle seriously in first place … so Luffy>Zoro>Sanji>Smoker
fleet admiral (akainu) send fujitora to take down law and the straw hat… not to suspect DD ,
He was sent to handle things - which is a broader remit than take down. The fact he gave Law the option to get out of trouble is evidence of that.
If he thinks DD is mixed up with them then he might decide to handle that too.
Akainu got in a lucky shot with an enraged WB. Admirals should be on par with the Yonkou and it just so happens that Luffy and Law are plotting to take down those very Yonkou. Luffy isn't hopeless against an Admiral anymore.
With a 30% chance, despite the plan. Luffy doesn't stand a chance against an Admiral at the moment. Not even if Fujitora is less powerful than the Sakazuki, Kuzan and Borsalino. If he is (which we don't know yet), it's not by much. And Luffy just isn't there yet.

He was sent by the same man who by his own initiative blew up the very ship he was ordered to escort to safety
Doesn't seem like the type who'd mind that his underlings thinking on their feet

Joker is just an awesome nickname for Fujitora. He can't arrest him just for that. But the name Joker should be in the marines' database. So he should be able to get a real reason if he really tries.

The factory is the toy house on Dofla's kingdom. Pretty sure he has the right to forbid the marines from entering.
why would DD hide the factory inside Toy House ?
from outside toy house and inside smiles factory

I'm certain Someboy would lose. But he would surely put a good performance. And seeing the difference between VA and admiral I can't see him there yet. Even Jimbei seems to be a match and Law probably isn't too far. And when I see how Akainu handle Jimbei I have no doubt on admirals vast superiority to Luffy. He would be able to buy some time but surely not won.

@jabso:
by me saying "there is no chance"i meant that luffy will fight the head of the donquixote family donquixote himself..after they fight i dont think luffy will have the strength to defeat fuji..i didnt say he has zero chance of defeating an admiral when he is full strength.dont get me wrong i definetly think luffy can stand up to an admiral
Well of course luffy needs to be full meat and strenght to even think of beating an admiral lol, anyways yea I got you wrong my bad

we are comparing luffy to admiral level…luffy is past vice admiral ...he can beat the crap out of smoker..smokers main advantage over him pretimeskip was that he was a logia, but with luffys haki now smoker has no advantage.smoker doesnt even have any good moves in my opinion.law defeated him and in my opinion luffy is stronger than law

All these assumptions today. We've barely seen anything from Smoker, but he still has his jutte that he uses to fight DF users. Regardless he is a VA now so he should know haki. Oda knows that people are still waiting for the Smoker and Luffy fight.
Luffy could be stronger than Law, but Law's power could simply prove more useful against Smoker than Luffy's.
One thing i don't quite understand about Smoker's power is to what extent he can create smoke that isn't part of him
Like could he make a huge cloud of smoke that he can hide in and amubush blinded opponents
Or would that whole cloud just be his own body spread out over a larger surface? Like you could just strike out anywhere and hit him

youve got a good point there …anyway we will see..who knows what is going through oda's crazy mind
All that im saying is that i think luffy will be fighting the really strong guys now in the new world ..he will obviously run into smoker a couple of times but i dont think they will fight seriously...punk hazard has really decreased my rating on smoker

My interpretation is that if you can still control an area of your substance, it's part of your body and can be hit. if he was just pumping smoke into a room to asphyxiate people, i doubt they could just swing around with haki blows and knock you out.

it is about logias that they can create a huge amount of the element they are manipulating and control it too full extent but i havent really seen smoker doing that

Luffy was able to take on Z and we still don't know the full extent of his new powers and abilities. We don't know if Luffy could at least hold off an Admiral yet. Not defeat one, but at least hold his ground.

gaaaaaaah!!!!!!facepalmtotally forgot about that….that was the one time he produced a really large amount of smoke
If could produce lots and lots of smoke to envelope a battlefield he could just solidify fists in the smoke cloud and a have a go at people.
And at the same time block attacks from his blinded foes. Mallable obscuring smoke seems like one of the most versetile combat logias
Regarding Luffy vs an Admiral conversation, I think it would be best to see how Law does vs Fujitora and of course whether DD interferes. I see Luffy and Law around the same level with one maybe winning on endurance (Luffy) or one of the many 1 hit KO (Law) between the two. My opinion is Luffy would put up a pretty good fight but would lose at the end.
Still there could be a Gear 4th that Luffy is hiding, and I am also curious to see what Law can do here if he "saving up all his energy" as he put it.
I think that Luffy could at least hold off an Admiral for a bit. I'm pretty sure that Lucci was stronger than Luffy and more skilled. Luffy just had more willpower and an emotional drive.
Hello everybody its my first post here. Have been on a german forum. It sux balls ;) so i came here. Have been follwing the threads here and i like it very much.
Read a few comments thats this coverstory episode was boring. Cant agree. Since we get the confirmation that Caribou is on the same island as XDrake when he met Scotch. We see the same Metal Trees in Chapter 595 when Drake mets Scotch.
Regarding Fujitora. I propose a theory. The whole in the Casino Floor wasnt due to his Devilsfruit, but due to his insane Swordskills. Since we know that a global military enlistment took place there is a question where a beast like him is coming from. Some Civilian with Admiral Level strength? I propose that he comes from Wano, since Wano is an independent Country defending itself against Pirates and other threats. He looks like a samurai. He has a sword. The Tv Actor was playing a Samrurai. His Justice appears to be inspired by the same mindset as Kinemons. In this Chapter he says i just wanted to test my ability, as if he didnt have it since too long. Furthermore it was difficult for people to draw a connection between the Meteor and the whole in the casino floor.
My theory: The hole in the casino floor was made by his sword with the same technique he uses in this chapter to cut the meteor pieces. He is from Wano was recruted as an admiral due to his crazy sword skills. Then he got his devil fruit from the WG as an Power Up. What do you think?
Really love the discussion here so tell me what u think.

Well the samurais of Wano seem to be master swordsman. I'm sure Kinemon can already cut fire so it wouldn't be hard to believe that another samurai could have such a penetrating force using his brute strength. The thing is, it wasn't really a slice, unless he attacked with the blunt side and that's the excuse. Also Fuji didn't cut the meteor, that was Law and Dofla.
He cuts the three big pieces that are falling down on him with a kind of circular swing on this page here.
Afterwards there is an explosion near the ground then the floor around him is gone. I propose he used a simliar technique in the casion.
At the casino though, the guys were complaining about being pushed by a downward force. That wouldn't be explained by just cutting the ground.
And if you look at the hole afterwards, the damage is pretty rugged. If he did use a sword the damage might have been massive but the cuts aren't clean which signified inexperience according to Zoro. It should be a clean circle if done with a sword.
As for this chapter, he seemed to use his sword to cut the meteor above and then the damage below is caused by the meteor like how Law and Doflamingo protected themselves.
I see a lot people fight over Luffy vs admiral, I don't think it gonna happen in this Arc. but they could be fighting to find a way for escape if they run into each other. About WB vs Akainu I don't see how you say akainu could defeat WB, there's no chance at all, 1vs1 wb wipe the floor with him easy. WB were sick + got stabs and he still fighting like monster and all those hit he get is when he got distracted and his old injured or disease forgot… Remember he's old...
Smoker is weak! Of course, Luffy can defeat him easy or Zoro. See how he get his ass kick from DD like what 1-3sec? Not even worth to see lol
anyway, I don't think it worth to talk about fighting Admiral yet. Law only doing so just to buying time after they destroyed SAD, they will make a run for it. But a fight vs DD could happen.
My guess is either the force-force fruit or grav-grav fruit, or rather, the ability to exert different amounts of gravity to anything within those "spirals" he creates.
He cuts the three big pieces that are falling down on him with a kind of circular swing on this page here.

Definitely forgot about that. Even the way he cut the meteor looks kind of strange unless he was spinning as he fell down.
Since Kinemon is already able to cut fire, a technique which even Zorro considers pretty high sword skill, we can expect that Wano Samurais of higher Level could be insanely strong.
I am almost sure that Fujitora is from Wano. There are so many hints. Even the timing of his appearance. Oda choose to present Fujitora first, not the Green Bull. There always was one Admiral who was kind of friendly with the Strawhats. We cant forget that there first meeting went good and Luffy was on his best behaviour ;) .Maybe Fujitora will learn during the Arc how awesome the Strawhats are, defending other Samurais? Maybe he lets the Strawhats go in the End because there is a connection between him and Kinemons and Momos group of Samurais? If one would assume that Fujitora is from Wano, an independent country not part of the WG, why would he become part of the Marines and what is Kinemons Mission? Is Momo really his son or is Kinemon just his lifelong Bodyguard and Momo the Shogun Successor fleeing from Wano since an attack from Kaido is imminent ? And why are all these characters introduced in the wake of Kaidoos appearance? These are just question i ask myself when trying to read Fujitora. Its all speculation but there must be a way to bring all these characters together.

ANd now another tweet is saying South Africa instead of South America. Weird
My god what a great chapter, the comedy was hilarious especially Usopp's face at the end and Kinemon appearing just out of the blue XD XD plus not to mention the story progression and Noland coming into the story again, I did NOT see that coming at all, oda you freaking genious you ;)I believe Fujitora may have the ability to manipulate gravity because of how he can create shockwaves it seems and making a meteor appear out of the sky :D also with how the gamblers felt alot of pressure and it created a huge hole.
My take on Fujitoras DF is the following:
A gravity gravity fruit, with the following abilities.
A sixth sense of being able to sense other bodies gravitational pull. The more skillful he becomes the smaller objects he can detect. From this he can get a sense of his surrounding but by passively sensing his environment he can't tell how far away or the mass an object has until he exerts another objects gravitational pull on that object.
I suspect he made himself blind so that his 6th sense would increase in strength, just as the hearing in blind people.
Able to manipulate objects gravitational field shape. By changing the shape he can focus the force on
The gambling hall. Focusing part of Earth's gravity on the pirates and pulling them down. Sensed their positions through his ability, but also through haki.
The meteorite. Since he is able to sense the position of other objects, he did the same trick as in the gambling hall, but on a much larger scale.
The only thing that confuses me is what Fujitora did when he seemingly put up a force field or manipulating somekind of repelling force.
Has it ever been mentioned anywhere whether the World Government has any large military forces aside from the marines?
The marines are always talking about pirates, but we don't hear much about the Revolutionaries.
Has it ever been mentioned anywhere whether the World Government has any large military forces aside from the marines?
Well each country within the world government seems to have their own standing army
But since they are neither under the elder stars direct control or able to project any force outside their nations they probably don't count
I loved this chapter but I miss Luffy.
I think its likely that Kinemon and momo are hiding something, i recall them acting quite secretive while on the way to dressrosa. Although i have no idea what they are hiding or what significance kinemons captured friend holds, but id guess they are in some sort of trouble involving kaido. Im really looking forward to meeting kaido, but thats probably something for next arc.
I loved this chapter but I miss Luffy.
After him getting 3 arcs to himself, you miss him when he's gone for a chapter?
