Since Tank Lepanto was introduced, i've been thinking about the naval Battle of Lapento between the Ottoman empire and the Holy League, which is somewhat tenuously related to Hayreddin Barbarossa, who was a famous and extremely successful pirate and naval commander (he puts real life Blackbeard to shame, for example), and i realized i would love to see a character based off him. He would have been a perfect person to base one of the yonkou on, actually, since he basically became an emperor himself. Maybe he could be a leader of a pirate nation in the new world, or something. I think it would be really awesome.

I want to learn more about the Rockey Port Incident. Some people claim that it's just the incident when Law took the hearts of 100 pirates. But i don't think so because marines said that Law was the mastermind. So there was some kind of plan or collaboration.

According to Aohige it's obivious he's name comes from hayreddin and it's not a coincidence.

Barto needs to be disqualified and allow someone else to go through. I want him to have an important role in this arc, but not in the actual colosseum fights. He could have a far more interesting role to play, and this small intro could just be the brief introduction before his real role in this is revealed in one fell swoop

In most philosophic debates i would come to the result that iam real, but that doesn`t convince everyone.
Obviously he needed Mr.2 to fulfill his plans and even ordered people from around the world to come to his organisation.(like even Zoro was asked at one point)
So Jazz Boner for instance was definitely chosen because he made a name for himself (just like Zoro made one) and seemed to be fitting with his strenght.
But i wasn`t saying that he chose just DF users to fill his agent spots let alone give those people DFs by himself..
When someone without a DF would have been fitting for a certain role in his plan, he would have also got a higher rank, according to how important his role would be.
But in this case just some DF users showed that they were more fitting because of the strenght that comes with their ability, while not rly serving a special role in his grand plans.(like Mr.5, Mrs. Valentine, Miss Merry-Christmas, Mr.3)

I would be eager to see a flashback arc that deals with the early life of Garp. I would like to know the whole lot starting from his birth and upbringing, his exploits as a marine, beginning his own family, the rift with his son, and the arrival of his grandson in his life. The state of affairs surrounding Luffy’s parents’ departure is something that I’ve always found intriguing. I suppose (and I hope) that this is something that Oda may disclose to us as we get nearer to the culmination of the manga.
More death, drama, suspence, darker tone, intricate plot. More revolutionary army doing anything. Less one-chapter filler characters.

It’s not precisely the same thing. Luffy doesn't have children or grandchildren. You might be able to contrast starting a family with forming a pirate crew from a particular perspective. And on some level you may be able to evaluate Garp’s rift with his son to the falling-out between Luffy and Usopp in the Water 7 arc but it just isn’t the same. Luffy might take after his granddad, Garp, in a number of character quirks but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they will have gone through the same rough patches in life. Garp is legendary amongst the marines; his son is "The World's Most Wanted Man" and his grandsons are notorious pirates.

I really don't think usopp will use a rifle… sadly tho, but im prty sure his weapon will become beastly, already this new attack we're he launched rocks was prty cool i liked that, even tho he used it against running ennemies, but still it was rly accurate and powerful imo. It needs to be haki infused for sure tho, and itll prolly be by the end of the series.

i think most of Shanks crew have haki and thats why they have rifles… I dont think there is anyone with a DF but you never know... Just dosen't seem that way..

yea i wonder about that as well, and is vergos ''haki'' form harder than luffys? I can't wait to get informations on how busoshoku works out. And yeah I hope Shank's crew members (presented at war) don't use df's itd be awesome having a crew like that

You know at first back in Fishman Island, I thought that when Luffy got into hardening it was the way of Oda telling us that he is using CcA but then I realized that it was a step forward of the normal CcA and yeah may be they didn't push it or may be Oda just came up with this idea…
