Anyone else playing Luigi's Mansion 2 yet? it's so awesome
I heard the guy/girl that made the review on Gamespot gave it a 6.5 because basicly the game was to hard haha, they got bashed to death on forums, apparently others sites have given it grades as high as 9.5 saying the game is awesome, I would be buying it for now since I'm buying Code if Princess and I've preordered Fire Emblem already(which comes out in April), maybe later if Project X Zone doesn't come out meanwhile.

You forgot Lego City for Wii U. And last week was Monster Hunter and Punch Out. It's been a great month in general. More out than there was at Christmas lol.

–----------Apparently the Harvest Moon coming out is a Virtual console version of the GBC one, damn I though it was A New Begining that was finallly coming out here :(, nevermind not like I was expecting it to come out after so much time but seeing the title got me excited for a while.

Now THAT's not promising. When compared to PS3 and Xbox360 launches, Wii U sales dont look too weak but that changed with price cuts, if price cuts arent enough for people then i guess they have to wait for the big Nintendo games to roll in. Im sure those will be enough to keep Nintendo in good stead.
Anyone know where the best place to trade in a Wii is? If i can find a decent enough deal, im tempted to get a Wii U

I'm hardly surprised. THe price was never the issue so much as the games were.

By the way, I don't have a Wii U and I've been meaning to ask. I remember back when the Dolphin emulator was starting to go strong, people commented that a lot of ripped Wii games (Mario Kart Wii being the example I specifically remember) actually included high-resolution texture files and other such assets that were not utilized by the Wii. This enabled the Dolphin to run games at 1080p and look quite amazing. Speculation at the time was that the Wii U was going to allow you to play those games at high res, as they were meant to be experienced. Is there any validity to that speculation?

Speaking of E-Shop, why aren't there any SNES games on the 3DS e-shop (or more GBA games)? I haven't checked it thoroughly or for a couple of weeks for that matter, but I always found it puzzling that the 3DS could play games that have technology greater than the N64, and yet SNES games aren't on the e-shop. And it's still odd that they released plenty of GBA games for the ambassador program, but not a whole lot of GBA games otherwise.

It's more that the stores are disappointed with sales. Not no sales. From what I've gathered a lot of the stores complaining were expecting Wii levels of sales. But really lack of Advertisement was the main problem. Both by Nintendo and the shops doing these price cuts.(most of these stores who did the £50 price cut didn't advertise it at all.) Same shops aren't stocking anything other than Nintendoland and Mario (some are doing Zombiu) too. Not to mention the lack of games in general. Ninja Gaiden wasn't a high profile game. And Scribblenauts, Rayman and Aliens have all been delayed. Most of the shops aren't stocking Need for Speed. And the supermarkets don't consider Monster Hunter a game worth stocking either.
For me however. HMV put the premium console down to £200 including Zombiu and Nintendoland. Had about 5 friends buy one last weekend due to that alone. So I got plenty of titles. Most of the others are waiting on Nintendo's IPs. Or were waiting on Monster Hunter/Lego City to come out. Or Bayonetta 2 is one I see thrown around pretty often. Maybe if Nintendo pressed harder and got the likes of Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising and Bioshock onto the system it might have picked up more. As nice as the amount of devs for the E-Shop is. Nintendo aint gonna sell the console on indie titles alone.
On the plus side regarding the UK market. Monster Hunter did pretty well. Charting 7th overall. I think the 3DS version placed 5th or something and the Wii U version 11th. Not bad for a game considered too obscure to sell. To put it in perspective with another obscure game. Persona 4: Golden on it's debut week charted at number 32.

I didn't say no sales, I said it did little/nothing to boost sales (by which really I meant profits). With a 20% price cut you'd need at least 20% more sales to even generate the same profit. I'm pretty sure it was way below that. It's not really an issue of comparing absolute volume moved, especially not to the Wii.

Am I the only one having problems with the Eshop? it should have updated already, the news thing already announced the updates but they didn't update the weekly layout as usual and Harvest moon(not really interested), Fire Emblem demo and Code of Princess are the only games missing(and the ones I'm interested in…), is this just me or is everyone not seeing it?

I actually sent them an email asking if its some update error or something of that sort and I also sent them a tweet in their Twitter account but they don't seem to answer anyone there, they did answer my mail saying they can't answer rigth now but will answer shortly(wonder how shortly that is).
They even have the QR codes up in the site saying the games are up, I go there scan them and my eshop says the games are unavailable.
Meh they update late(they should do it in the morning) and now they are even two hours late…
Edit: Fire Emblem Demo is up.
Shitty thing about digital only, Code of Princess is 9k blocks I had to delete a lot of stuff to downlaod the game and the memory is now almost full.

Yeah I'm going to have to buy one tomorrow or next week it seems, I actually didn't even know the 3DS card is only 2gb, man pain in the ass to download code of princess its still at like 30% at its been almost an hour, I guess a lot of people must be downloading Fire Emblem so the servers must be going slow but Nintendo servers download speed isn't that fast anyway.

What? in the other regions its a full retail game(Japan and US), its cheaper for us, the usual game here is 44 euros, this one its 29 because its digital only thats a big cut.

Anyway finally got to play Fire Emblem demo, I'm a Fire Emblem fan so i knew I was most likelly going to like it so yeah, I liked it a lot, did normal mode, going to play code of Princess and try hard later.
