It's gonna be like 5 years til we find out if Jinbe will join or not.

I'm not so sure anyone will join til then ,which is odd imo.

And this kinda bothers me because I don't understandwhy Oda would delay his joining this much.

I'm not buying the whole "it will take 5 years in till someone joins."

We have no idea who we will meet in the upcoming arcs. Just because we're going to Wano doesn't mean we won't find some non-samurai character there. Hell, who knows who we might into at Green Bit?

I think it's this whole "one nakama per saga" theory that's allowing everyone to prescribe to the idea that no one will join in'till let's say….after Big mam is defeated or in'till after Doflamingo is defeated. This theory is dangling off the edge of a cliff; it's okay to just let it go guys.

My best guess is that yes for his official joining it probably will take another 3+ years if past arcs are anything to go by. I can only imagine we are being set up for something fantastic regarding Jinbe. I'm impatient because Jinbe has become one of my favorite characters and I just enjoy reading his dialogue.

I'm guessing we will get an update on his whereabouts very soon as the world building chapters seem to be upon us. I expect him to meet up with the Straw Hats sometime late this year or next though.

I wanted Baby 5 to join so much, shes funny, her fruit has a lot of potential. Im imagining the impossibilities of her relation with Sanji, everytime he attempts something on her, she would accept it and Sanji would turn to stone every single time Baby 5 would correspond to his feelings. Or for example, Franky's Shogun is in danger and he reveals his ultimate bazooka weapon (Baby 5 transforms into a massive weapon! - DOCKIIINGG).
Would be funny as hell.

Actually we still have no clue who through the note at chopper. And we also dont know if she is actually dead either. Im sure there will be a chapter or two covering some aspect of punk hazard and whats left of it.

At this point I;m pretty sure it was Robin who threw that paper. Robin or Law.

Oda doesn't leave mysteries with implied answers. He outrights confirms them sooner or later, either by a dramatic reveal or by a throwaway line.

The fact that nobody has mentioned that piece of paper yet means the mystery is still up in the air.

I'm not denying that Oda cleans up before he walks away, but that doesn't mean it has to be someone mysterious. Not to many people were in Punk Hazard. It had to had been one of the people in the room.

Law is the one that sent the paper. The note said to "wait there nd don't do anything" and Law still had access to his powers because he had fake seastone cuffs on. Having Chopper run into the room to try and save them would have just complicated things. It's… not much of a mystery.

That's why I said she won't join, somebody said Robin or Law but Robin couldn't use her power and Law could but he didn't because he could transport the paper but not trow it and we saw Monet looking like she noticed somebody…

I wouldn't mind Kinemon joining at all, I think his Devil Fruit could be really powerful, but he just doesn't know it yet…but like everyone else says he and momo give off a Vivi and Carue vibe -.-

I still hopping for them to join, Marines will acknowledge Chopper as a threat and Carue will be the SH pet with a bounty also we'll get to see Vivi as a SH again…

I was going to say the same thing and now that they know who luffy's father is, is more likely for them to go against the WG and join the revolutionaries but I really want her to join so bad

is It really only limited to clothes? you would be happy if he gave every character a sabo hat haha but in all seriousness being able to do only clothes is lame, why not armor??

Thanks lol, Ive always hated how she didnt come with them then but Robin partially made up for it. I still am very annoyed at how Wiper, Bon Clay, and Marguerite have not joined. There would have been so many amazing gag's and growth with these characters as well as the fact that none of them have hax powers, which is the reason i never wanted perona or the like. I mean, Monet seemed so great but i think we can have a more creative logia as a crew member, maybe earth or something better. The fact that Usopp does not really use dial's anymore just screams for a dial specialist in the crew, and Wiper would have been awesome for that. Maybe they go to another sky island. For me i really want Kinemon and his son to join as well as the return of Vivi, Carue, and Jinbe. Screw zoro being able to cut elements, he can have his haki. I feel that Kinemon has good potential to have his own fighting style, more similar to miyamoto musashi's two handed techniques, while leaving brook to his fencing and zoro to his animal style sword fighting. Momo would be awesome as his fruit can be potentially dangerous. We'll see though.

We do not know the extent of his devil fruit, im sure he can make more than just clothes appear, we dont know yet as we've only seen it happen once.
