Yeah. It sucks though :ninja:
Just kidding :P
@Nia:
So are you feeling better now, or do you still feel kinda sick? :|
I cannot say for sure.
My mom threw up at night/in the early morning, and ever since then, I have this strange feeling in my stomach. Not sure how to describe it: it feels like there's something in it that can't be digested and should come out, but at the same time, I was eating all day long (because I was hungry) and it all stayed inside so far. Which is more unsettling is that I doubt my mother was/is sick because she ate something bad; we ate roughly the same stuff yesterday, so I guess it can be a virus or whatever, which means I have a really high chance of getting it.
Well, tonight, everything's going to be figured out.

You….almost got me there.
Well, I know I have no chance at winning... But this will be fun, I guess..
Well this is odd. Despite having that feeling in my stomach, I have this urge to eat (probably because I skipped lunch for whatever reason).
I am so fucking fed up.
Just so much shit has happened. Last night I went to a punk show, and on the one hand, the band was screaming their lungs out about raising a generation without racism/sexism/misogyny/homophobia/heterosexism.
But then in the PIT, these people started moshing me, and that would have been okay on its own. But then I noticed that one of the guys who was moshing me, was somebody who had DEEPLY hurt me in the past, on the grounds of my identity. And I looked at some people I knew in the corners, and they glanced at him, and then they gave me that knowing look. But then later, when I was sitting and talking to my friends, they came up to me and told me that nobody felt comfortable telling him to leave because they were too scared of him?
It's like, yes he's physically strong, and yes he's a drunk punk, so he isn't afraid of going to jail… I don't know, they probably made the right choice in leaving it alone... But it makes me upset that a scene which is supposed to be safe, is populated by a separate community of people who are de-politicized, and who just wanna get hammered.
And then it's like, I heard that my friend was fired from this place after they introduced their girlfriend (who is transgender) to the staff. So it's like... Shit.

What company fires someone for this? Where does your friend work at, church?

I kinda didn't want to give too many details, but it's called Tortilla Flats.
What boggles the mind is that this was merely the PARTNER of a trans person.
Reminds me of when my friend got grounded for bringing me over to her house.
It's here. The Time is approaching. But I'm ready!
I expect tears to be shed. I will shout. My voice will be hoarse… but...
it will all be worth it win we **WIN!
GO RAVENS!!!**
UPDATE:
WE WON!!!
My voice hurts from screaming. but… WE WON!!!!!!!!!
Note to self: don't overwork yourself in the gym after a week of not going. Body is sore as fuck. Chest, biceps, triceps, abs, obliques, legs.
Does feel good to get back to it, tho.
WE WON!!!

Congrats, dude.
I don't really know about sports, but I think it's cool that you stuck to your guns when people told you they would lose, and then they actually won.

Thank you! I really appreciate that :)
No one believed in the Ravens. All year long. I can't WAIT to read the newspapers and watch ESPN.
CAW CAW RAVENS 2013.
Okay I'm in a good mood for once <3
Shame I've got all this work to do.

MAY THE POWER OF THE CRAZY THRONE COMPEL THEE ONWAAAAAAAAAAAAARD~
Awwyeah still got it
I finally charged up my camcorder and went through loads of vids and pics I made a few months ago. It's pretty hard reminiscing bout it all right now.
I heard about a photography contest and decided to participate.
The goal of the contest is to photograph your city.
Here is the photo I selected:[hide]http://i.imgur.com/VMSexqU.jpg[/hide]
It´s good ?
Looks like a random photo any one might take with their camera phone, sorry. Way too much sky in this photo and not enough discernible detail. Everyone is far away and out of focus. Nothing draws your eye except that ugly umbrella and you can't see that well, nor is it noteworthy.
Maybe go take a picture on a day that isn't terribly overcast with rain? A sunny picture is gonna make any setting look better. Go take a picture of your favorite looking tree or an interesting looking landmark around town on a sunny day with a bit of overcast so it's not TOO bright outside. It'll be a shitton better.

I'm not a photo expert or an art person, but I'll give you my two cents (PS don't take my criticism on this picture as something against your person).
Since the goal is the photograph your city, I can see nothing I can gleam from this picture about your city. What is the picture trying to tell me about your city? How does this picture represent your city?
From what I have seen of it so far. All I read into this picture (without knowing what city you are from):
1.There's a lot of trees so I suppose it is a fairly lush location. (I guess)
2.It looks fairly developed in spite of the lack of buildings in this picture (at least the road looks fairly maintained and there are street lights and a lot of cars).
3. I suppose it is fairly populated. There are some people around.
4.I guess it has fairly overcast weather.
That's it. Is there something in this picture that really screams: "As you can clearly see, this is undeniably my city (insert city name)!" I only see a basic picture of a street with some people around and a lot of cars. You can give almost any city name to this and I would believe you (is it some city in Florida? South America? South East Asia? I can barely tell whatsoever).
Now for the composition:
To be frank, I don't like it. Normally in scenic photographs, you either have a sweeping view with some symmetry or a structured photo with focal point. This has neither. What exactly am I suppose to be looking at? Should I be looking at the pole on the right which mysteriously disappears at the top of the picture? Should I be looking at the street lines? Should I be looking at the black pole which sorta fades into the dark trees? How about the straight lines of yellow buses in the background? There is very little balance at all in the picture.
Now for the nitpicky aesthetics:
-The pole on the right is extremely distracting and it adds very little to the scenery.
-The streetlight in the center is too dark and blends into the background (trees' shadows). I barely even noticed the streetlight on the left.
-The weird thing on the top right side of the picture. What is that? That could be easily removed with photoshop.
-Everything is too dark in general (especially the shade beneath the trees). Pick a day that isn't overcast.
-Colors are too muted (either from camera quality and/or overcast weather).
I say take another picture. This one won't do at all. I recommend the following:
1.Decide on a spot first. Brainstorm what location that will ideal for telling the viewer "Behold, this is my city! Clearly this picture describes it better than words!" I recommend either a festival, landmark, or a sweeping grand landscape/architecture (which your city is renown for). This requires some research so get to it! Ask the locals, your friends, teachers, and so on. You have plentiful resources, but please brainstorm.
2.Visit the location on a decently light and clear day. (Colors and lights are your friends. The rain will muddle up the image.)
3.Take multiple shots of different angles, objects, close-up, long distance, etc… (do NOT go with just one picture, you will need a couple dozen and from there you can choose a good one).
4. After you found a handful that you like, edit it a bit. Clean it up and look presentable. (That doesn't mean you should photoshop the shit out of it. Just make some minor changes to make it look professional. Don't put filters and make it look "artsy". That's just tacky.)
Give it another shot and good luck!
Just had quarrel with my mom. But I'm strong now, I won't cry.
I really should look for a psychologist myself, I can't count on her. I just don't know how to do it. My school doesn't have one anymore and I don't think I can ask any of my teachers.
Other than that, it was a fairly good day. Learnt some obligatory poems, will get those out of the way tomorrow.
@Nolus: Are you at least feeling physically better today? :O
So, the short film project me and a group of school friends are working on just got accepted into further development by our school staff. We had our first serious meeting today and lots and lots of stuff were both agreed on and put into consideration. Ahhh, this feeling of creative bustling within a tight-knit group who are passionate about the project is amazing~ And afterwards me, the director and scriptwriter went to see Django Unchained. It was awesome.
And on the way home I bought this. It's heavenly.

WOW..thanks for the tips you two…yeap. I should have chosen another photo..I wanted to give a raining feeling on this photo.
Now I see that the angle was weird..strange thingy in the top..¬¬ Too bad I already sent that photo to the contest.
Maybe this one is better ?[hide][/hide]
Been working on a cover letter for an internship that I'm applying for. So far I've found it to be far, far more daunting than the twenty-plus page research paper I did for seminar.

I totally feel you. I've been procrastinating on my internship cover letter for a week now.
Something is causing some vibrating thing to be going on around my house lol. I want to say train since it seems like it's been passing for 5 minutes now. I'm kinda freaked out.

Oh sorry I'll keep it down.
Guess whon spent the last 45 minutes outside, desperately hammering on a 5cm thick sheet of ice on the back window of our car, with pliers and a screwdriver, trying to bresk through, without gloves ? More then halfway finished, but I asked my dad twice to bring me over some, ya know, gloves and he said yes, was gone for 20 minutes, came back with nothing, then went back, said he wouldn't leave, then apparently left without telling me or giving me the gloves.
…...
How do you make going to an 8 am class worse? -20 degree wind chill. My hands went numb just walking from the parking lot to the building.
I calculated some, and it seems I'll most likely score approx. 480 points with my high-school studies and final exam.
You probably have no idea what this mean, though~
Here in Hungary, the final exam (the one at the end of high-school) is what required for a university; so we don't have to write entrance exams or whatever. To be accepted however, one has to gather enough points. These can be calculated and have 3 categories. The maximum is 500 (which is pretty hard to reach. You'd have to write perfect (100%) exams for that). Also, different studies require different amounts of points: for English studies (the one I'll most likely choose; for the first one anyway) one needs 370-420 points depending on the payer (the student or the government).
So of course I'm happy that I'll probably get ~480 points.
Well shit.
13th March here we come.
As a little addition to the above, guess who just spent an hour franticaly looking through every nook and cranny to find a book they recently bought online for Christmass and that that person took with them into the car right before the above mentioned incident, only to find out that my dad, while looking through stuff he caries in his notebook case, apparently put that book inside of said case because it was on the table he was looking through said case on.
An hour of high blood pressure all for absolutely nothing.

Also just saw "Rude Removal". And while I am dissapointed that certain people seemed to have made stuff up about it, still it's so glorious to both see the old animation style and hear Christine Cavanaugh doing Dexter in a completely "new" episode one more time.
Just got the worst pain in my back. It feels like there was a steel cable in my spine.
As an extra bonus to that whole pointless search ordeal, the muscles on the foot opposite the knee (no idea what they're called) hurt like hell from me lifting the top of my bead like three or four times. That shit's heavy ya know.

Began to notice just how deeply the education system is like an Extortion business.
Ever be really bored with nothing to really do and you just kinda wish someone would bug you or something? I've been feeling that for the past couple hours. Then someone messages me! Then he kills the convo after asking what's up. Like why the fruck did you message me in the first place if you weren't gonna take it anywhere. I'm 'bout to chock a bish I'm so bored.
Welp, that's a first. Got myself a job interview for tomorrow morning. Wish me luck, you guys.

Good luck! Those interviews can trip you up, I know from experience. :U
But while we're on the subject of jobs, yesterday I picked up two job applications and I'm probably gonna go today to drop them off. And my dad's sending my resume to the temp agency he works for, so that's another lead.

You need to be annoyed you say ?
Well now, let's see what w can do about that. :ninja:
Also today I finaly got into some sort of external translation job, at least. At the lingerie place.
Wah, had two exams today one after the other. They were surprisingly easy (for me) though . . . last exam of January on Friday! I look forward to it being over sooo much >.<
Welp, that's a first. Got myself a job interview for tomorrow morning. Wish me luck, you guys.
Good luck! I'd add in all the advice you probably are already aware of, but I'm not aware of any of it . . .

Do your best at that job interview. :)

Good luck Dryish, knock 'em dead!! Mind telling us what job you applied to? :)
My day has been… incredibly annoying, actually. But now that I'm home and had some bacon & noodles I feel fine again.

That sounds yummy. I need to try that combo
Guess who just got three fingers rammed inside of the car's back compartment door ? -_-
I love maths exam questions. I have a statistics paper on Friday, so was just doing some past papers, and lol'd at this:
(v) Jess watches the shower for t minutes. She wishes to be at least 99% certain that she will see one or more meteors. Find the smallest possible integer value of t. There are two things here. The first is the idea that someone might calculate the time they'd need to watch to be pretty sure they'd see a meteor. The second is that if they did, they'd want to watch for a whole number of minutes . . .

my day has been rather annoying as well, especially when I WANT to work but my fecking mind won't let me…
Watched some of my pre-graduation/ball video. Oh my god was it amazing. I can dance apparently, hahaha~
I'm planning on making a BMO out of a small cardboard box. Currently stuck on what to put on the list of materials for the arms. I guess a good browse through Walmart's craft section would help. I have an idea what I can do for the buttons, but it depends whether or not I can take apart a Mad Catz GC controller or a N64 controller. I figured I use the junk for something.
edit: uuhg. The button thing isn't going to work
