I just noticed something, almost all enemies that fought Luffy had an advantage or fought him at their advantage- eg: Crocodile in the desert, Hody in water, Foxy in his ship, CC a place surrounded by gas etc So I think we really underestimating Luffy, he fought all this people even though he was at disadvantage.

I just noticed something, almost all enemies that fought Luffy had an advantage or fought him at their advantage- eg: Crocodile in the desert, Hody in water, Foxy in his ship, CC a place surrounded by gas etc So I think we really underestimating Luffy, he fought all this people even though he was at disadvantage.
Well, really just Crocodile and Hody. Crocodile's defeat was barely plausible and the "final bout" wasn't even in the desert.

Except that Luffy always has allies who come to his aid at just the right moment, while his enemies generally eschew support. Remember what Mihawk said at Marineford? Luffy's greatest strength is his ability to make unlikely allies wherever he goes.

Nami's boobs getting bigger always bugged me cause wasn't she 18 at the start? I don't think those would get a second growth on their own.

Sure but it wouldn't suit the argument to discuss Luffy vs. Enel. Luffy was essentially invulnerable to Enel's most powerful/heavily relied upon power. You could hardly call that a disadvantage.
Regarding Magellan, Luffy didn't defeat him. He couldn't overcome the potency of Magellan's DF power, which had nothing to do with the fact that Impel Down has a ceiling.
CC has a ridiculously powerful DF though it seems he is destined to remain a relatively weak character. I think Luffy is fortunate that the fight went as easily as it did, and the fact that gas surrounded the building they were fighting in isn't really relevant or any sort of advange to CC (the fact that the air Luffy was breathing had gas in it is a serious consideration that for whatever reason didn't matter much lol).

I love Luffy as the protagonist. Genuinely selfish yet good-hearted and boundlessly optimistic: the world would be a better place if more people were like him.

Whoa whoa, what? People are actually saying that?
Law is obviously the brains of the alliance, but that doesn't mean he has more of a role than the main character. It only seems that way by contrast, within the dynamic of the group. Law has a heavy presence now because he won't have a major role in the story later (ala Vivi.) Oh, and he's popular. There's that too.It baffles the mind that people are complaining about Luffy actions/portrayal during Punk Hazard. He's the same as he always was.
