There have been cases in the manga, when something was black (suggesting it being a dark color) and it turned out to be pink (in Baron Tamago's case).
EDIT: Also, the scan quality might make Tsuru's hair darker than it really is.

I like to think that they tried to establish a connection between those two based solely on the fact that they share the same face, even though it's most likely a coincidence, or else we would've already heard something about it by now.

Wow, I just keep hearing good things about this movie. Many comment about how the movie is simply quite better than Strong World, and since I loved SW, I can't wait to see Film Z! Also, Young Garp looked pretty damn badass, and he even reminds me a bit of Luffy with that shit-eating grin, and that scar near his eye also helps a bit haha

I was really considering seeing it again before heading back to the States for the holidays, but I doubt I'll have time. There were quite a few things that I wanted to go back and check–a lot of those images of the younger marines and whatnot just flash across the screen without a lot of time to process, for one. I think my opinion of the movie still holds right now, so at the very least I'll do what I can to get my hands on the DVD ASAP when it comes out.

Everytime I read something new about this movie I become more excited about the Marines, that is I've just read about Z's timeline and the dude seems to have grown through alot of character development. Also the possibilty that the new Schichbukai is a level 6 prisoner is very interesting.
It also seems that the top brass' way of keeping Marines who want to retire is to tell them to stay as instructors
The Green Databook laid out who would be the major forces in the New World, Oda will probably through in some new faces to shake things up (such as this unnamed Shichibukai who may probably be a new character).
Although Sengoku stayed on as an instructor he became a "General Inspector" was that ever explained in the movie as to what he does now.
I also hope Oda will release some sort of sketch book like he did for Strong World. There was an ad on the recent chapter that appears to be a book on the right had side of the photo, but I can't tell if it's a guide book or the manga version of the movie that they usually release.

cgi is a safer option than live action. but i still think that even cgi is a bad idea if they choose the wrong style/presentation. one piece is meant to be presented anime style, realistic-looking cgi will be weird.

Little late to the party, but 4 things:
1. Is that look for the new Pacifistas Canon, or just for the movie? They looked like they always did back when Sentomaru brought them to Sabaody.
2. Kawaii Robin is way creepier than they intended.
3. Sengoku got old.
4. When Z picks up the strawhat, does he recognize it as Shanks' or Roger's? More significant if the latter.

That would make Law Luffy's age, and it's probably likely he was till part of Doffy's crew back then..Apparently he didn't stand a chance against Vergo's haki, so the chances of him being able to cut an admiral's arm off (who has evern strong haki) are very very low.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure I was the one who brought up the level six escapee thing after replying to someone mentioning that maybe it was Croc. I didn't say anything about it being mentioned in the spoilers though. Just that maybe it was an escapee who did it - but looking at the spoilers now from sandman I don't see that as a possibility.
