Just remember that game's seiyus are the same of anime
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Oh man the trailer looks awesome. It would have been so much better to let cyber connect 2 make the one piece games instead of omega force/koei tecmo. This style of fighting game is in my opinion better than the dynasty warriors style. And since the ps3 is region free, I can import this game without any problems as soon as it comes out. I can't wait^^
-
Really going to have to get a PS3, I'm a huge Jojo nutthugger now, I was thinking of buying one already for a while because of other games but damn this game looks gorgeous.
! I hope we see
! Jonatan
Johnny
Dio part 1 and Diego part 7
Zeppeli, Ceaser Zeppeli
! Those are most likelly confirmed I guess
! I would also like to see making into the game, Tarkus or Bruford(would like to see some Part 1 villans besides Dio), Foo Figthers and Weather Report would be cool also.
! I guess characters like Koichi and Buccelati are most likelly confirmed aswell as the main villans, Kira, Enrico, etc. -
Part 6 mass confusion:
! I just hit the part with the story explaining Father Pucci's back story. I'm so confused lmao. So…He was initially the dead baby left to a family that had twins. But the twin that he got laid next to died? So the other baby is off somewhere else as far as I know? So he's not actually a twin? But he had that weird foot. Or was his soul dragged into that healthy twin to the dead baby or something?
Currently at chapter 721.

! His twin was swaped for the death baby so yes he has a twin.

! But I thought Father Pucci was the "dead baby". That he shouldn't be related to Weather Report or a twin at all. That Weather Report and Perala were the ones that were blood related.

How is it possible that Santan could have learned the entire English language, drawing off only a dozen or so sentences? Lol
Well, he is an ancient being, so perhaps he cross-referenced the language with ones he had heard in the past.
@Cyclone Baroness:
! Weather and Pucci are brothers. The mother who is unrelated to them had her dead baby swapped with Weather.
-
I randomly watched the 12th episode.
! Santana looks like a prettier Toriko…I never pictured him with purple hair. That's the downside of the covers being so stylistic. I'm never fully sure what people are supposed to be colored like lol.
-
Also, aparently Araki is very fickle when it comes to coloring, so it can change.

! I don't know why my brain can't figure out why it still seems off to me. I thought the dead baby was the one with the borked foot. But then we see Dio healing it for Father Pucci. So I thought he was the one that was totally not related. I think I'm over thinking it.
-

! Ones is tanned/black the other is blond, so it should be easy to see, the white babies were swaped.

! Yes. But, Ugh. Okay I guess I can't explain it well lol. My understanding is that woman who traded the Father thought her baby with the odd foot was dead. She wound up taking Weather Report? Father finds out from his adoptive parents that he had a twin that died? Father's younger sister is actually related to Weather Report. I'm not understanding Weather and Father being "related" because it looks like Father should be the dark baby with the odd foot. I re-read it and it still feels off to me lol.

! You're misunderstanding. I just looked back at the chapter, and the dead child never had an odd foot. That was Pucci. I understand how it's confusing though, since Weather and Pucci have inexplicably different skin colors.

Ahhh thank you. You are a life saver. It was kinda driving me nuts.

! Actually twin babies with different skin colors happens more often than you'd think. Here's just one example.

! Interesting. I hadn't seen that before. I think that's what was really throwing me off. Especially since the Pucci's looked white.

Yeah, I know, it's just uncommon enough that I thought he hadn't heard about it.
-
The whole episode felt like a horror movie and i loved it. If Santana is handled this good can't wait for the other Pillar Men.
Although i'm afraid Jojo will be on a break.
No JoJo next week?!
FUCK YOU,TOGASHI!
! ^Don't mind it,I've been conditioned to have this as a default response in situations such as these.
-
Anime-only viewer here(though I do plan to read the manga):
I really like Joseph. He totally makes up for Dio's absence in the 2nd part for me, and that's saying alot since Dio was awesome.
About the latest episode, that crossdressing scene caught me off guard, LOL.
Gotta love how ridiculous(and aware of it) this show is.I found the way the Pillar Man got out of that closed space pretty neat, also.And there's no episode next week? Nooo ;_;

Part 7,True Man's World,conclusion:
This particular encounter was glorious, simply glorious. On so many levels.
! Loved Ringo.Incidentally,I had seen his design previously and thought him to be Funny Valentine for whatever reason.
! Didn't think that Araki would be able to top 'DIO IS A DINOSAUR,NIGHT OF THE LIVING DINOSAURS!" awesomeness so soon, but boy,he did it.This part is fantastic, shaping up to be my fave so far.
-
Ringo Roadagain was one of my favorite characters in Steel Ball Run. He's just so out there I can't help but like him.
-
Anyone else recognise them using the opening riff to Yes's "Owner of a Lonely Heart" towards the end of this episode?
-
I just finished Part 6:
! That seemed really anticlimatic to me…2nd least favorite part so far. Just altered the time line everyone's alive and together again...yay? I'm so much more accustomed to hardly anyone surviving that this ending was actually off putting for me.

Really? That's what put you off? I would have thought that
! The efforts of every protagonist in the series being rendered worthless due to being changed in the new universe would have gotten you more annoyed. Especially since this all could have been completely avoided if Polnareff just told Jotaro about the Requiem stands when he had the chance. I thought it was a rather exciting climax, and was genuinely shocked when Emporio of all people became the sole survivor. Still, the first time I read it I was a tad bitter. I've since gotten over it.

! Well I didn't like part 6 in general anyways. That also annoyed me. I didn't like Emporio as a character so it was extra annoying lol. I'm curious to see just what else changed in the time line. I was incredibly disappointed that it never lead up to Dio coming back fully and a confrontation with Giornio cause one chapter blurb made it sound like he would show up. Also, Dio really gets around. So many Baby Mamas lol.
Part 7:
! Part 7 seems interesting already. Dio! In a race? Um okay, I'll take it lol.
-
@Cyclone Baroness:
! Yeah, lots of people were annoyed by Giorno's absence, especially when it had been foreshadowed. Hopefully he'll show up again eventually…
And part 7 is my favorite. I expect you to enjoy it a ton.
-
In general is seems most people like Steel Ball Run. I'm already enjoying it so far and I'm only 4 chapters in lol.
-
Well, Giorno's existence is kind of complicated.
-
Part 6&7:
! So because of 6 borking up the timeline. Dio has no connection to the Joestars anymore? He's no longer a vampire stand user. This feels so weird. Well at least I like the characters so far in part 7. Just so hard to let all that history go lol. I wonder why the author decided to do that.
-
@Cyclone Baroness:
! In case it wasn't obvious yet, the universe part 7 takes place in is radically different from the universe of the first 6 parts. In fact, the new universe we see at the end of part 6 also doesn't seem to be the Steel Ball Run universe, since Jolyne still seemed like Jolyne in that universe, whereas in Steel Ball Run Jonathan is radically different from his original self.
! As for why he decided to restart the timeline…maybe he just wanted a fresh start, without all of the baggage from past arcs that he'd either have to ignore or shoehorn in somehow? I for one really like the change. Restarting the universe means we have all of the advantages of the past universe, with none of the inconsistencies and loose ends, primarily Giorno and the Requiem arrows. No longer will the heroes look like fools for not using the instantaneous power up they have access to! -

! He is soon to be something cooler than a vampire.
Well, whether you'll agree with me or not when you get there,I'm sure you'll be pretty amused at the very least.
-
You have a good point Endless.
! A fresh start was probably very much needed. I still miss the Pillar Men though and their their glam glory. I still secretly hoped more would show up lol.
Ooo thanks for that morsel Sander lol.
-
Has anyone here praised the fantastically over the top performance of Stroheim's VA this episode?
"SpeeeeedWAGonnnnnn" gets me every time
Also, the guy's voice is familiar? That impecable ability to squeal…is he Clown Buggy by any chance?
-
^ I looked it up, his name is Atsushi Imaruoka. Though the only character he's voiced that I'm familiar with is Dallas Genoard… And even then, I watched Baccano! dubbed.
New JoJolion chapter was pretty neat.

This post is deleted!

Jojolion chapter was great stuff.
It's getting pretty bizarre, though. Like, extremely bizarre.
And the wait between chapters is the worst. . .
-
So they're making JJBA pocket knives.
I want one soooo bad.

Exploring the classic rock references of Phantom Blood

I thought the references were pretty obvious but..

And now for everyone's amusement:

Cool weird chapter :D.

The Doobie Brothers are awesome you little shit

The Invincible Trio have just released their translation of volume 41. Today is turning out to be the best JoJomas ever.

Whee thanks for the heads up! The Dice Game was probably my favorite part of Part 4. :)
-
Part 7:
! O.M.G. Dio's stand…Dio the last dinosaur! He's my friend and a whole lot more!
-
^Yup,told you he'd be something cooler.
-
Thoughts on Part 5 so far:
! After the Bucciarati vs. Diavolo fight, Part 5 has gotten very entertaining! Zombie Bucciarati is badass. From the thread's spoilers (which I don't really mind for some reason) I'd come under the impression that Bucciarati's zombieness was some sort of last minute ass pull, but it's actually a plot thread! You don't often get an undead protagonist.
! It's funny, from the way one of the other posters was grousing about Diavolo as a villain, I'd thought the reader wasn't supposed to know Doppio was his alternate personality, but no, we understand that right away, which really elevates his overall likeability in my mind. While his goal is a bit too similar to Kira's (NOBODY MUST KNOW MY IDENTITY URRRGH), his Doppioness is great, great fun. The King Crimson vs. Metallica fight ws one of the best, I didn't think there was any way an ability as absolutely hax as Diavolo's could be given a run for its money, but Araki's genius creativity made it happen.
! I will say that while they would have died many times over without Giorno, it really seems like Bucciarati should be considered the main character here. Giorno's goal of becoming a GANGSTAR fell off the map almost immediately. Does he even have a goal anymore?
! As for Fugo leaving, I didn't mind too much. It makes sense that there will be at least one kid in a group of gangsters who doesn't feel like throwing his life away in an adventure to kill an invincible maniac over a girl he doesn't know.
! But on the other hand, there are some things that don't really make sense. If all of Rome was attacked by Green Day and Oasis, wouldn't people remember that? But there's never any consequences when things like The Grateful Dead nearly killing a whole train of people. The world remains the same as always, with the masses just as blissfully unaware of stands as ever. I guess that's a pan-JJBA flaw, what with rampant vampire and zombie attacks no one seems to remember. Hell, NAZI CYBERNETICS disappeared too, come to think of it.
! Although you could say it's just because there's been an explosion of stand users in recent times, with Dio's and Kira's dad's abuse of stand arrows? And since stand users are supposed to be linked by destiny, there might be some sort of threshold after which the population of stand users rises exponentially. No wonder the goddamn universe ended. -
where do you read the last chapter of jojolion?
