Deguchi eh? Hopefully it's not too bad.
Anyways, longer preview was posted last night by Chibi JFZ.
Probably not a stream again, so if you want to watch use KeyHole (If the channel is up this week).

So Momonga's been wearing the exact same clothes for over 27 years now. What a vile, vile man.
-
looking at pictures.. did that goat just fire a laser from it's mouth?
That is pretty much great. -
Those faces!
Can't wait to watch it.!

That is pretty much great.it seems to be a cannon who ate the goat goat no mi , like the Mr. 4's pet Lassoo.
-
Almost forgot.
Preview for next week.

Does it have a name?
-
I think the credits said it was Alpacachino.
-
These new short previews are delightful. Really stretching the definition of "preview."
…hehe...stretch.
...'cause his arms are stretched in that little preview.

Heh. Nice pun.
This should be the last short preview, since Z and Episode of Luffy will be out by the next episode's airing.

Very odd name.
Thanks.

@Galaxy:
Very odd name.
-
No new opening guys?
-
Think the new opening will come 1/06/2012, and, could be announced (and previewed) either in this week or next week's Shonen issue.
-
This may be my favorite filler arc since G8! Throwing Momonga into the mix adds for a lot of fun, but most importantly…
Alpacachino.
Just...
Alpacachino.
-
! Toei better be hoping Elbaf is in the New World later, because in the episode they heavily imply that it is.

To be honest, it more than likely will be. The islands that are mentioned more countless times, which, Elbaf as been, the Strawhat's usually visit at some point. (That's why I'm expecting Wano Country, Elbaf, and, of course, Raftel).
-
Gooo ALPACACINO!!!
-
Episode is out on watchop
-
I think my favorite part of the episode (aside from Alpacacino, of course) was when Shuzo hears Sanji's bounty and chuckles at him being a ''nobody''. It underlines my feelings that it's so unfair that all of the Straw Hats have bounties so much lower than Luffy. I know, bounties aren't power levels, but they're still an indication of overall standing in the series, and caharcters in-universe do use them as power levels.
There was some questionable animation (I take it Zoro was supposed to be running up the side of the ship?), but the art was pretty good for a Deguchi episode. I've always liked Momonga, so it's nice seeing him get some sort of limelight.
However, Nami's logic makes no sense. Putting all of the Devil Fruit users out on the open sea in a small paddle boat is a really bad idea.

agreed I like that they did a play on Sanji's bounty poster and amount. One of the reasons I actually enjoy filler is because usually there is less "real plot" so the minutes end up getting filled with more Strawhat interactions and cute gags…which IMO are the best parts of One Piece
and of course Alpacacino
Now if only Condoriano would make a return and team up with Alpacacino for the ultimate filler combo!
-
Um…I might just be in an odd humor, but that was one of my favorite episodes of One Piece in the last year.
Most of the crew got involved, interactions were funny, pacing was good, the action scenes actually felt like there were multiple things happening at once, music selection was frickin' perfect...
Well played, filler people. Well played.

Loved the scene with the Zoro and Sanji ownage.
Very fun and adventure-filled episode, really liking this filler arc.
-
What's wrong with www.onepieceofficial.com?
that's were I watch it but I love following watchop countdown and when it comes out I watch it on onepieceofficial.com(plus they do commercials which makes episodes look longer). When it comes out in HULU I watch it there again.lol
-
Zoro is flying!
Aside from that, fun episode especially Momonga being a badass marine.
-
Two points: pretty sure it's against rules to promote non-official streams in this thread, and if you do have the option to watch the official stream, you should. It's one of the few ways you can legitimately show support for One Piece on a weekly basis.
-
pwn Alpaca has a cannon DF? awesomeness
-
Alpacachino was the best part of this episode. No lie!
I liked how everyone was making fun of either Sanji's bounty or his bounty photo.
Even if it's filler, it's good to see Momonga getting more focus. This filler arc has been very enjoyable for the first two episodes.
-
That was actually a very good episode. I'll have to wait for it to finish, but this is shaping up to be a very enjoyable filler arc.
I also like Monmoga not being a 1-dimensional RAWR PIRATES MUST DIE bad guy, and instead being more Lawful Neutral. It also makes a nice contrast between the otherwise questionable Neo-marines, since right now seems like the absolute worst time to go on a pirate-killing spree with Akainu taking over the fleet admiral position.
Nami sitting this one out (as the "strategist") was a little weird though, since this is like the absolute perfect situation for her powers to make a distraction. I imagine a healthy dose of thick fog (which should be easy for her to make) would have made everything a lot easier, but I assume they wouldn't want to tread on official canon anymore than they have to.

More like he's a cannon that ate an alpaca Devil Fruit.
-
-
Finally watched the episode.
Pretty good stuff. I really have nothing to complain about. (Except for the lack of money)
Alpacachino is hilarious though, but too bad he isn't canon.
-
I'm kind of glad that Oda didn't feel like changing Momonga's design like he did for Sengoku and Smoker.

well how do you know which is non-official and official stream? What about Hulu?
-
well how do you know which is non-official and official stream? What about Hulu?
Non Official = Watchop and any other site that streams it without Funi's consent.
Official = Onepieceofficial.
Hulu is just mirrored versions of the Onepieceofficial videos that are uploaded by Funi, so yeah they're official too.
But I don't make money from either one!
-
Hulu is fine. What we don't allow is linking to sites that have illegally ripped FUNimation's stream. That is how sites such as watchop are able to get the episodes up so quickly.
-
aw, that was actually a nice episode! Some really hilarious stuff. Last week I thought the alpaca was just a filler rip-off of Sengoku's goat, but I now see it has more to offer XD Also Momonga is awesome, always glad to see him.
I think one of my favorite things about this filler arc compared to the others is how Luffy isn't fighting just because some kid or lady showed up and whined about having ~A DREAM~, but because he wants to eat delicious food.
-
Swag episode.:'( It Thinks about the children
-
Alright, this is probably the first time I've ever commented on a One Piece episode only 6 minutes in, but I just wanted to say that the longer use of the… military type theme when Nami is explaining the battle plain is FANTASTIC and really fits the New World. :3 The timing of that piece was EXCELLENT! :3 As excellent as my suave 'stache that brings all the kitties to the yard :3
-
I wish animation and art had been this consistent throughout Fishman Island. But we know why that was mostly not the case. Too late to be complaining about that now – Onward to the future! Episode was really fun; I'm genuinely looking forward to what happens next.
As for Alpacacino, he seems to be more a product of the stolen/hijacked Pacifista technology Z's stolen for himself. Could be one brave alpaca who volunteered to become the greatest Kuma he could be.
-
Nami:" Franky… stay behind on the Sunny"
Me: Facepalm!
Why? Why must they (orange) continue to treat Franky this way? How is Franky ever gonna shine if you keep telling him to "stay in the car"? If Matt Damon had directed this episode he would have given Franky his due moments!
-
Dat episode. Exciting action and really good music selection. I liked seeing Nami plan out their actions at the beginning and then leading the group. Seeing a Straw Hat do mission control is something I'd enjoy seeing in the manga every once in a while actually. Good amount of humor too. Sanji's air jumping is done better than it was in FI. Oh and the alpaca cannon. End of the episode was pretty nice with Momonga.
This is some quality filler. Can't wait for the next episde.

Off-topic: Are you okay. You keep :3ing all over the place. Don't overdose on :3
-
Franky will get a moment soon during the manga if you follow it, so no worries.
Really loving the filler. Momonga was awesome, and the crew interactions, humor, action, music choice, the fact that almost all of the Straw Hats got to do things was just the icing on a really good cake. And we're even getting some character development for some Marines and I actually like the filler characters. Good stuff!
e: I think Demonicpoodle has been cursed!
-
The best part of this (grape) episode was Zoro making Momonga sweat/just smiling at the fact he (mango) was a Vice-Admiral..

LOL Your (grapes) confusion reminds me of when Matt Damon was confused at the beginning of Bourne Identity. DemonicPoodle has been cursed : http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=36868&page=2&p=2759126#post2759126

@nodensuke:
at the fact he (mango) was a Vice-Admiral..
His name is Momonga, not Mango. How dare you? How dare you?

@Miss:

He (blueberry) literally meant to say Mango. It's a part of joke: http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=36868&page=2&p=2759126#post2759126
Matt Damon appreciates Jokes
LOL you just called Momonga vile a few post ago… and now you defend his name?
-
I laughed so hard about the ending with Luffy : "Pirates … Navy ... enough with the bullshit! Pops Heavenly Food is all mine!", completely out of the context of what they were talking about, just classic Luffy.
Zoro taking on Momonga was impressive.
