I just hope they don't wait until holiday 2012. I don't think they'd be talking about it right now if that was the case, but you never know…
It's not really a holiday season type of game, though. At this point, the only reason to wait for holidays is if you're A) a kids game that will be on a display in line at Best Buy when you're gift-shopping, or B) Call of Duty. So I would guess first half 2012.
At Sony's E3 press conference it was revealed that PlayStation Move will be being worked into the game, that the PS3 copy of Infinite will include Bioshock 1 on the disc, and that they're developing a Bioshock game for the Vita.
Also judging the trailer that was shown of Infinite, Elizabeth's character model has underwent yet another remodel. But she looks much better now.

Looks great. Although the preview was criminally short (especially considering they then went to talk about Move for a few minutes.) I can't wait for it.
I don't know what to think about this. It looks awesome but while I didn't hate Bioshock it didn't particularly wow me.

They probably will. But it'll be something small like Sinclair having a branch in the sky or one of those audio thingys you pick up mentioning Rapture going to hell or something.

Levine says it takes place in the same universe, but it is neither a prequel nor a sequel.

After watching this 14 times in a row now I share FelRes feelings!
Hopefully this will deliver unlike diablo3/ME3.

I was worried for this game, hell the concept artist and combat designer just left, but this trailer reassured me.

I post on a board frequented by a guy who works at Irrational and he said all these snippets of doom and gloom being unearthed are a) a normal part of game design, as people come and go over the course of multi-year projects, and b) in some cases really old and not in any way indicative of the current state of the game.
So basically, it's just people grasping at straws because it's a long development cycle and the only news they can get about the game is seemingly ominous. Infinite will be incredible.

I thought we'd never hear anythng from this game till next year, especially with the no show at E3. But it's looking great, nice nod to the first Bioshock with the hero heading to a lighthouse. They look to really be pushing the system's strengths with this one. Really looking forward to it.
I'm more worried about the fact that it's been really media coy than the fact that people are leaving the team.
Now this could be just because of the nature of the game that they don't want to show to much/anything more but makes you wonder about its state.
So I paid off my copy if the Ultimate Songbird Edition today, and then I come home to find this.

The level of detail is amazing. They are putting their all into every aspect of this game. I am even more hyped now, which I didn't think was possible, as Bioshock is already one of my favorite games ever, so I've been excited for this since it was announced oh so long ago.

Minerva's Den is a single-player campaign DLC that many liked more than the main game of 2.
Which is worth 10$ alone,Bioshock 1 and 2 are both worth 10$ each aswell if im not mistaken, so that would be 30$ right there.
This deal is worth it in my opinion.
After repeatedly trying to shoehorn multiplayer into Bioshock Infinite and failing looks like Irrational finally gave up the ghost. No multiplayer in the game, period.

I don't like it, too generic and busy. Not to mention the lack of Elizabeth who is just as important, if not more so, as Booker.

Just to play devil’s advocate, didn’t we all expect a flattering shot of Elizabeth on the cover with some of that trademark cleavage? My point is, this may be generic, but it’s selling the gameplay, not the eyecandy.
