The thing is not everyone is as …calm...about seeing it as you, some get quite vocal esp asking for some brain bleach or moaning "my eyes" Those reactions are what we all enjoy and so zachri tries to ambush many, its an old trick but enjoyable for many to hear the unsuspecting moan

Hm, I understand artists view and what-not but it kind of bugs me how many ((not all)) make female versions instantly have long hair, girls can look just as beautiful with short! I know some look great with long hair but I ((personally)) prefer them with hair more similar to what they always have ((mainly for Law, Sanji and Zoro))

I'd just gotten that picture erased from my memory, too.
I like different takes on GB style. The way I see it, if they were a female, why wouldn't they want longer hair? I mean, sure, with someone like Luffyko, she probably wouldn't care too much and cut it short so it wouldn't get in her way, but Lawna appreciates a bit of hair (hello goatee) and might grow her hair out a bit. Kidd might go either way - punk out with shorter hair or headbanging fun with longer. I think cases can be made for some of them to have different hair styles. (Hell, even Mancock has long hair in some pictures which probably wouldn't be realistic since it'd get in the way of his fighting and he'd probably wear heavier clothing - the reason Hancock maintains longer hair is to hide her back and because it increases her beauty appeal… most likely.)
Short or long, I don't care. As long as the picture looks fine. Hell, Nami and Robin would probably have Zoro or Sanji-style hair since it's easier maintained.
