How do you think Zoro would have fared if he instead had to go to Amazon Lily for 2 years? He's probably immune to Hancock's powers

He'd turn into Asura again if they tried to put a frilly outfit on him like they did Luffy.

But Zoro's as man as you can get, he's not as ambiguous about it as Luffy is (he wouldn't be able to get away with being a "flat-chested girl"). He wouldn't be able to get any type of training really, though he'd be able to learn Haki from them if he was able to pass off as a woman. He'd probably yell at them a lot for being sexists, and he'd end up on their bad side. This would result in him dying by excessive Snoo Snoo.

I don't think Zoro is immune to Hancock's powers - he can fight it like Momonga, but really, Zoro's honor is what's making him not fawn over women.

But can you actually imagine Zoro not getting perverted thoughts when seeing Hancock's ~~tits~~ boobs? I mean he has ~~dick~~ manhood to you know.

He's never even paid attention to women, unless they were fighters, in which case he wanted to fight them, not bone them. He's never once nosebled, and he's never geeked out over one of Franky's machines. :ninja:

Zoro's a very honorable man. It's that that keeps him from having lustful thoughts. I can imagine a fight between Hancock and Zoro were Zoro is suppressing the thoughts; like what Momonga did. Momonga's honorable, but he's still a man.

Luffy's just…Luffy. Though it still puzzles me to this day why he got affected by Nami's Happiness Punch. Maybe's he's manhood is in there somewhere, he did also panic when he dropped in the bath tub exclaiming he didn't see Hancock's naked body.

And Sanji has never geeked out over Franky's gadgets either.

Zoro always seemed asexual to me; being a "man" has nothing to do with it. Oda just won't write that kind of story unless it's for laughs like with Hancock and Luffy.

Likewise, Smoker fought Hancock in the war and seemed not to care at all about her. And when he unbuttoned Tashigi's shirt (and apparently ripped off her bra according to the SBS :getlost:), he didn't visibly react either. It just seems like a common thing in the OP world for people, male or female, to not care about that sort of thing.

Though I personally choose to believe the answer while others don't, Oda said in an SBS that Luffy reacted that way because Usopp did. He said they're like high school buddies and Usopp's the type of high school kid that would be a bad influence on Luffy. Thus, like young children/high schoolers, the less socially adept one mimics the socially competent (Usopp's always been a superb conversationalist).

You could also make the argument that it was because it's freakin' Nami, but I don't really want to open that can of worms.

He did, he was worried about beign 'slowed down' so he was surprised when her beam didn't do anything. Since he didn't have any lustful thoughts, the Mero Mero didn't petrify him.

AS for Zoro, Oda said Zoro puts his training first.

No, it's not, I went and conflated two different things. He noticed the hoofprint later. The rest of my point still stands, I think. I probably just went and blocked out all Foxy related things besides afros and Aokiji.

True, what made me think of this question was a scene at the end of Alabasta when Nami showed the guys her goodies and everyone but Zoro peeked.

I'm not linking it but there's a movie Z concept art of aokiji by Oda and he specifically draws out his hand and it looks a bit funky.

the 2 pics for Kuzon in the movie Z shows him a simple pose, nothing else to it. People asking if his hands are melted is over-reations to not seeing them in 1-2 images, just as it was with Zoro when we first saw the 2 page spread for their post-timeskip images= since Zoro's arm was not shown (due to Luffy bing in front) people thought that he lost the arm.

Look right under the K of where its writen ao kiji in english Oda drew one of his hands.

And now that I look closer it seems he has some kind of scarring on his shoulder as well.

That picture is showing us that one of Kuzan's hands is now gloved, although I can't imagine why.

Yes. As far as I know, he has never actually seen it, but I believe he is aware of it.

I've recently read several posts that Pell (the falcon guardian of Alabasta) has Armament Haki, and that's why he was taken out first.
Is this Haki for Pell based on real evidence or is it just wild guessing on part of some fans?

He was faking it. He was going to hit the other executioner I would expect.

Either that or to use that weapon to hit the chains in attempt to free Ace as if he hit the other executioner first, Garp or Sengoku would take him out before he could free Ace. Though he could secretly (use his feet to creat the wax out of sight of the big guns) use his wax powers to create a dome just in time to block the strike.
