With CCC's translation, the chapter becomes much more enjoyable, that's a fact.
But, even with that, this might be PH's weakest chapter so far. Decent enough, but it felt padded.
I loved last chapter's stuff with the kids, but the first 4 pages of this chapter going around the same stuff felt redundant.
Zoro's group still running, quite redundant.
At least, the Smiley's plan seems to be going somewhere. Hope next week we'll see good stuff!
And the other week. . .another break. Dammit. . .
I really hope Oda knows where this is going, I feel there's a huge amount of stuff left to be explained. Why is Law going this far with his plan to bring down a Yonkou? What if Luffy or anyone else ever appeared on the island, he'll be stuck there forever or what? What'll happen with the Smiley? What did CC give "it" to eat? Chopper, are you there? And the frozen men? Law's crew? Monet?
Again, I hope it's all tied down together really nicely in the end. I really hope it will (I remember back in Skypiea when we learned what the giant figures where after, what, 100 chapters? So I can wait for early stuff like the frozen people to be explained. Patience.)
Oh, and I'm not exactly worried. It's just that I'm loving Punk Hazard and I want it to end on a high note. It seems like it may be losing a bit of momentum atm after a lot of epic shit went on, so I'm really expecting a big finale full of revelations, action and stuff being tied plot wise. And kickassery everywhere.
