However Usopp and Nami could easily escape CC but even with Nami's smarts that would be hard since CC is a super genius. I'm still confused because CC beating Luffy means Luffy has to be able to beat him then Vergo then Doflamingo, normally he is only dealing with one major villain. The only other time we've had multiple major villains was when the SHs got destroyed or when Luffy almost died at Marineford.

(You know, since CC's gas is probably mostly derivatives of nitrogen, making it explode[TNT] and toxic[NO2], I thought Nami's lightning could transform CC's gas to substance[NO, ammonia] beneficial to Ussop's plants) But I doubt it.. it can't be that complex.

I do agree with you about Caesar, but to be honest I don't think Doflamingo would just sit around if Vergo were beaten/found out considering he's his most trustworthy crew member and the direct influence in Marines relations. Bellamy and Disco seemed more like new fodder recruits.
Makes me wonder what's gonna happen when Smoker and Tashigi report all this too the higher ups..

I never thought Doflamingo would care if CC is beaten. It's hard to tell if he would care about Vergo being defeated either but considering Doflamingo casually threatened to leave the Shichibukai, dumped his Auction house, and was having fun in the midst of war I doubt he'd care about anything. So I agree with you but my only point would be Bellamy was a pawn in his game, Vergo seems more like a knight (as he is Dofla's most trusted man). The only thing we've seen him care about is his flag being respected. I also have a feeling the way Law and Vergo have been talking Doflamingo is very careful about info leaks, which is why Vergo has remained in the WG/marines for 15yrs. So I think he would care if the info about Vergo being Dofla's agent was released or his plans on PH are leaked. I think the shutdown of the PH operation and considering Luffy has shutdown his other stuff and might shut down more in future will eventually get to him to a point. I don't think he would have killed Disco but he was getting annoyed when Disco was blaming the crisis on him.

If that happens then maybe Smoker and Tashigi will try to stop Doflamingo's plans and tell the WG about it, but they will first find out about it in one of the later arcs, where they will then return to the marines.
I believe that smoker will one day either join Luffy's crew or at least be on his side. Right now seems a bit early but honestly when taking on(possibly) two different yonkou at the same time they need all the help they can get
I still think Smoker is going to join Aokiji and travel with him as fellow bounty hunters.

I remember that bugging me too, but if he reported Hancock Amazon Lily would be screwed, especially after that war, now that we know Akainu took over. Wasn't Hancock also the warlord to also protect the island or something - that's why Nyon was freaking out about her not answering the request to appear at the war? That or he did report her, but the marines were too busy with other more important stuff going on/they had lost too many warlords already.

Even if Smoker reported about Vergo and Doflamingo, I doubt Doflamingo would be stripped off of his Shichibukai status. If he's really that influential over the underground criminal scene, then it wouldn't be wise of WG's part to not have him on their side.

If Smoker does end up being expelled of the Marines, then I hope Tashigi somehow doesn't. She needs to get out of Smoker's shadow if she wants to get some good development.

Also we don't know how powerful DD's organization is, only that it has a vast reach but apart from Vergo how much pressure can DD put on the WG? I'm thinking DD's power as a fighter and the threat he presents as an enemy of the WG by himself is what makes him valuable. I know but I doubt Doflamingo has changed much over 2 years as he still runs a human lab instead of slavery house. I also don't think he needs the government any more or less at this point.

I like the thought of Vergo trying to set Smoker and Tashigi up for a fall if he doesn't kill them (although it just might be easier to kill them). Or Smoker could go rogue while Tashigi stays in, but that does eliminate some core aspects of Smoker's character.
If this arc does end up paralleling Alabasta, I hope Hina comes in at the end with Jango and Fullbody in tow, hopefully promoted.

I dunno, being the "most trustworthy" especially to a guy like Doflamingo means a lot. Unless there is a mole in the Gorousei or Tenryuubito* then who else could have that much power? Even a Revolutionary mole is less of an asset because atm the Revolutionaries are weaker than the WG

Usopp does not need to defeat him the fart/gas dial could capture cc but we have not seen him use dials for a long time so its a low chance it will happen.

Awesome chapter. I'm mad because I've been going through the days think his name was Wergo… but, well, things like that happen when it comes to romanizing I suppose.
