And to add a bit more relevance to the at least one day theory. Remember the newspaper that Monet had. It had updated pictures of the Strawhats at Shaboady, so it had to be at least a day so the paper could be printed.

Gizmo thanks to you I finally figured it out. This is without a doubt the undisputed truth until Oda out right says otherwise.
Many of you will be happy to know that the crew is on it's 2nd day since reuniting.
Point 1 -From the reunion until the end of the battle when Jinbe has a talk with Neptune, it happens all in one day, party included. All before night fall. Proof up above.
Point 2 - Sharley asks Keime to take the day off when she meets with the Straw Hats. By Chapter 653 she is working again, so a new day.
http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v58/c610/8.html http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v59/c653/2.htmlPoint 3 - The real mega proof! Nami and Robin have the same outfits until they set sail! They are the only 2 straw hats that regularly change their clothes as pointed out in the SBS! Nami has a Criminal bra as they pinky promise, but before that it was something generic.
http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v58/c628/2.html
Robin takes off that sexy dark top with the light bottom that almost looks like a dress and changes it to something all dark.http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v59/c653/9.html New Criminal bra and new clothes for Robin.
SBS Volume 51
! D: What's the third-most important thing on a voyage after food? Laundry. Who does it? Nami doesn't seem likely (sorry). If Sanji did it… he might ***** with the ladies' panties. Aaagh! P.N. Daze
O: Laundry, huh? Well, to avoid the kind of situation we can all imagine, the boys and girls split the task. Nami and Robin take turns doing their laundry everyday. Apparently all seven men have a huge cleaning extravaganza once a week. I guess this works out for them, since they rarely change outfits anyway. Right, Chopper?
C: Yeah, everyone stinks! We're all dirty!
3 days until the Tea Party! That's awesome!
It's time for the timeline thread to be updated.
-
So according to greg, oda says the final arc will make marineford look like nothing. Holy shit.
-
obviously, it's the end, the day every OP reader commits suicide because nothing beautiful will be left in life.
-
Is there any good estimates on the total One Piece timeline? I know Pokemon just gave up LOL. It's weird to think that an arc can happen in a day but didn't Impel Down to Marineford last only 1 or 2 days? Also since the SHs got taken off course, what happens when they leave PH? I mean the 4 other islands all have their own paths, so where do they end up next? Also considering the Yonkou have territory in the New World would it be safe to assume there is much more land there than in the first half of the Grand Line?

It seems it's close to being the same however after you're done training in the grand line if you want to get stronger you have to go to the new world because most of the stronger enemy's are there also its a good place to get strong crew members..

I wouldn't really care about the timeline except that Roger conquered the Grand Line in 4 years but I don't know if that's the Grandline starting from Reverse Mountain OR starting from the New World?

It´s the Grandline starting from Reverse Mountain, remember that they picked up Crocus there who stayed on the ship for 3 years.

I'm left wondering what exactly does it mean to "conquer the Grand Line" in Oda's context?
Luffy seems to treat it like a videogame where every island is a level to beat, but I don't see how that would make you a king of pirates. Just sailing straight through doesn't seem like that great a feat either.
To beat everyone there and emerge as the strongest perhaps? -

To beat everyone there and emerge as the strongest perhaps?Well since Raftel is the goal of all potential Pirate Kings - there must be something there that prevents the first comers conquering it.
It's not numbers or strength alone - there is something that prevents people from actually getting to the point of being considered the Pirate King or the most dangerous/feared pirate on all the seas.
Thing is we have some clues - The Ponyglyphs and Rogers ability to read them - Roger seeming to understand Sea Kings - Conquerors Haki - The legendary D status - Roger's ability to protect his crewmates. All that makes up what Roger was and how it relates to Luffy being similar will come into play. But to conquer Raftel is it from 1 of Roger's traits or all of them combined? -

To beat everyone there and emerge as the strongest perhaps?Well considering how so many pirates try and only one has succeeded, the path itself is hard. You make it sound like anybody can sail straight through, like Shakki said the other SNs had similar hardships on their travels through the Grand Line. Also finding it is hard geographically speaking considering how many people get lost at sea. If you want to use a video game analogy, I'd say it's like playing a video game on INSANITY level with only 1 life with many possible outcomes and you have to beat it in one go or you die.

Whitebeard and Shanks did not want to go there but they stopped people from going there.

Can u link the chapter where that is said? How could I've missed something like that.

I don't recall anybody saying anything like that. They were stated to rule the second half of Grand Line, but stopping people from going to Raftel is definitely a leap.
-

That's not true. It's just that hard to find a way to Raftel. Of course even if one didn't have to solve "puzzles" to find the secret way they would have to deal with Emperors so in a sense they all keep people from getting to Raftel. But none of them have been specifically stated to stop people from getting there. White Beard doesn't even know how to get there, nor does he care.
-
he did. he wanted to make ace the pirate king.
-
he did. he wanted to make ace the pirate king.
Don't recall anybody besides Sengoku ever saying anything of the sort.
-
Whitbeard most likely doesn't know where Raftel is.
When Roger asked him if he wanted to know how to get there, he said he's not interested. -
I think roger being the only one sailed to raftel is because of the geographycal difficulties, and ofc plenty of strong ppl are wondering in the NW makes it hard to get to the final stop as well. I think to sail to raftel it must requires some special skills. Just like the use of knock up streams (correct me if wrong) to get to sky island, or the use of coating to get to fishmen island. And most likely no one else but roger knows this "key" to get to raftel, and based on the info that roger wanted to tell WB the way to get to raftel we can assume that WB did not know the way to there either. Roger wanted WB to get there because Roger saw WB as the strongest in the next era and he would have the power to succeed what roger had left to be done (roger knew his life would not last long and it is said that roger spend his last year with his wife because he felt guilty about the fact that he was always not around). WB refused because he wanted to give this chance to the next era. Anyways, I think luffy and BB will both figure out the way to raftel and maybe Akainu would FOLLOW them too (I don't see akainu figuring out how to get there)
-
Difference between the three who will probably get there.
Luffy - Wants to have One Piece.
Blackbeard - Wants to use One Piece.
Akainu - Wants to destroy One Piece.Wouldn't be surprised if Buggy made it to Raftel, too.
If there is any material treasure there, it will go to him. And then Nami will steal it. -
It would certainly be funny if Buggy made it to Raftel too xD He has to be the luckiest bastard in the world!
-
I think because he is Oda's favorite character he IS the luckest bastard in the OP world lol

-

Well, Warship Island was pure filler from and anime only, but! I'm sure it was hinting/foreshadowing to "The voice of all things" which is later introduced officially (I think!) during Skypiea, which Roger has/had, and is now hinting at Luffy also having. So, yeah, whether the anime intentionally did that, or it was a coincidence..I'm not sure if it's related to the Will of D or not (kind of assuming it is)…
-
I was wondering, did Roger's whole crew reach Raftel or was it just Roger. If it's the crew then Shanks and Buggy know about One Piece. A guy like Buggy doesn't seem to be the sort to say or do nothing about such valuable information.
-
It has never been directly said, however we can assume that they all probably got there. Or maybe the cabinboys left before they reached Raftel. If they did both get to Raftel and know what One Piece is, either Shanks simply doesn't care about it and is fine. Buggy knows that One Piece isn't a "true" treasure and as such it doesn't matter to him, or he respects Roger enough that he would never tell anyone what it is.

The bigger-than-giant human remains that are mentioned here ( http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/655/17 ) are probably the remains of one of the stimulant drug/ growth drug test subjects. Hopefully not one of the kids but who knows.
-
I'd love it if the horns on Oars's head were the result of the government drugs. Like some pointy tooth that just sprout out the skull as a side affect. Though it wouldn't explain guys like Moriah… Unless he is so big because he is a descendant of artificially enhanced giants.
-

If that were true, he'd probably be even bigger, like Little Oars Junior.
I think that if Moria's physical appearance were ever brought up in an SBS,
Oda would just invent another "subspecies" like the Longheads, LOL. -

Where does everyone think this saga will go after PH? Wano or a new island are my best guesses.

eh, no it wasn't

Moriah had a normal neck back when he was a child and rookie pirate.
-

More than likely Wano. Wano (or the next island) probably will be the area the Strawhat's begin running into (and fighting) either Big Mam's crew or the Yonko Law wants to bring down if it isn't Big Mam.
-

Ahh k, must have been my over tired mind playing tricks on me :p

You think so? I have a feeling that Wano is a good distance from P.H, but that's just me. I think the samurai will take his son and will definitely wait for the Straw Hats to come to Wano. From there they will be allowed to come in because of their good reputation that's been spread around by the samurai and his son. From there Zoro could possibly learn some new techniques along with Brook. After that they may be "in debt" to the Straw Hats so they will possibly form an alliance with them to aid them in the future. I can't wait to see how they will react when they find out Zoro has Ryuma's sword! Some epic-ness right there! Oh! I just had a thought! I can imagine Zoro getting a new sword from Wano and if he does, it will be one of the great 10 or is it 12 swords in One Piece world!
-
Couple the Samurai following his son to PH with Oda's recreated work station housing a pamphlet titled "Wano" I think it's safe to say Wano is very near by PH and is the next stop or at the very least geographically close by.
-
Agree with that.
I guess Wano will be the next country SHs will visit.Oda have spoiled something for us and also i see the samurai getting back showing everybody arround etc and then have a villain as well there.
But it may be just a small arc with no huge antagonist. Can't wait for it anyway.
-
What about the three islands in the vicinity? It would be a shame if we never saw them. :C
-

After Oda teased each one of them before the time skip I honestly think the Straw Hat's will visit at least 2 of them. I have a feeling after Big Mom is dealt with, they with Jinbe will make a short trip back to FI, possibly going past a different island along the way. Then after a potential Mariejois Adventure I then expect them to go to a different island on the way back.
It is a lot of back tracking, which would be really odd considering the way this series works, but I trust in Oda to make it work. After Robin did not get taken to Impel Down and they just went on to Thriller Bark and then Saboady I thought for sure Impel Down was just going to be eluded to and nothing more. I should have known.
-
After Oda teased each one of them before the time skip
I know that Raijin Island was the one that Urouge visited, but which two are Risky Red and Mystoria?
Was Risky Red the island Kidd visited, while Mystoria was the island Apoo visited? I don't remember… -

It was never stated Moriah was half giant, where did you get that from? Anyways, Wano would be nice, I'd love to see Zoro get into a sparring match there against Wano's finest. ShiShi SonSon all the way!

Was Risky Red the island Kidd visited, while Mystoria was the island Apoo visited? I don't remember…Though we haven't been given true confirmation one can assume Mystoria Island was the island Apoo was one, with the running through the air mysteriously. Also since Black Beard and the gang had just crossed the Red Line it's likely the burning island they were on was Risky Red, you know cause fire is risky and red…

Oh yeah, totally forgot about that one. I suppose that makes sense.

Yes my bets that we will see thoose islands but i just dont see them soon.
I guess we will see them after Wano or maybe on small arcs just to see them.By the way , i still haven't learnt or read anything about this granny that offered Urouge an umbrela.
This was creepy -

This was creepyI have no doubt in my mind that that island will be traveled by the Straw Hat's and soon. If only because Oda eluded to it once with Urouge and 2nd with Nami at the sky island and then that is where Luffy wanted to initially go before he saw PH.
