When imbuing projectiles, do you think the user needs to maintain the haki surrounding the object the entire time? or is it a one time deal, like you could imbue an arrow and leave it for awhile without it losing the charge.
Haki is energy, so it works like energy. Take heat for example. When heat is transferred, on object gains heat while simultaneously another loses it. So while the Haki infused arrow soars through the air, it has a significant amount of Haki. However, once it penetrates the rock, Haki is transferred to the rock, and the rock splits apart because of the way Haki was transferred. So I think CoA Haki can be thought of as motional energy.
However, it's not telekinesis, because telekinesis doesn't follow conventional physics, and is considered impossible. Note that electromagnetic levitation follows conventional physics, and quantum locking is a special effect of superconductivity.

Zoro felt the sword's presence when Chopper was running around with it in Water Seven. It may not have been brought up for a long time but I don't think the curse of the three Kitetsu swords is something that Oda has forgotten or has no plans for. I personally hope and think it's not what causes Ashura though. I want that to be the manifestation of Zoro's own killer spirit, turned outward into a weapon.
I also believe that the Kitetsus are spiritual weapons that require skill in Haki to control them. I believe people without sufficient skill and strength in Haki become too ambitious and get themselves killed.
