@stephen:
The battle system has some neat things (the partner match-up where each character has their own unique effects, i.e. tripping or knock down powers, item steal, quick heal, etc. is pretty cool) but there are some steps backward, like that they retained CC points but also brought back TP??? and instead of all those weakness elements in Graces, they still have the old-fashioned weak/resist/absorb thing that means you have to reconfig your equipment and AI member skills in every damn dungeon if you want to kick ass.
Kind of a mixed bag then. Can't believe they've gone back to TP though, the change to CC only took away the biggest weakness of the tales battle system.
@KrogGar:
Uhm we have the N64, Game Cube, Wii, Ps1, Ps2 and a Xbox360.
Thanks for your help =)
N64
- no tales games
PSX
Tales of Destiny - Multiplayer(after you pick up an item early in the game)
Tales of Destiny II(eternia) - Multiplayer
PS2
Tales of the Abyss - Multiplayer
Tales of Legendia - NO multiplayer
X360
Tales of Vesperia - Multiplayer
GC & Wii you already know about. I'm assuming you'll be playing western releases, so I've only listed only those available in america(there's a few extra JP only tales games if you're interested?).
Boxed copies of vesperia are pretty rare & expensive now, but I think it's available on Games on Demand.
