One small question… Was it ever explained why Enel had no wings?
No, It wasn't.
By the way, Gan fall doesn't have them either, nor the previous god of skypiea from the norland's flashback.

Ahh interesting forgot about it… Explains a lot. Maybe after all this years the Bilkans and co went from the moon down to earth, not every descendant has wings
Thank you very much

What if Luffy didnt go to Impel Down, and instead just hitched a ride with Hancock on the Marine Ship On the current to Marine HQ early to Aces execution?

If those who have lost their shadows vaporize in the sunlight, why was Moriah able to use them at Marineford without this happening?

overcast? not like we had a zoom in of them afterwards, they could've been evaporated.

This may be a stupid question, but was it ever confirmed that Moria LOSES a shadow when its owner dies?

Yes, according to brook in ch 456

Wher someone probably has already asked it but I've seen it brought up for the first time
The guy next to Shanks (not talking about the fodder behind) has some striking similarities to Kaido's shadow

http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v47/c456/3.htmlThat's weird, I guess the thing at Marineford doesn't make much sense, then.
EDIT: Where is that color spread from, exactly?
Some of those characters have a LOT of detail for one-offs. -
To be honest… I have no clue... But I saw this plenty of times already back in the past. maybe redon and Co can help out
-
I think that's a picture from one of the earliest volumes of the manga. 1 or 2, I think. Although it might not have originated there, it's at least in the Swedish version.

Okay there some confusion there about the shadow's and the zombies.
It was said in Thriller Bark that it is the orignal body that has LOST their shadow that turns to dust in sunlight, but if their shadow is returned to the owner's body before its totally destroyed, the body is restored. Remember how Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, and Robin lost their heads and part of torso? They did not have their shaodws then, the return of their shadows reversed it.
I don't remember anyone saying the zombies themselves would turn to dust. After all Moriah wa creating a zombie army so he could re-enter the New World… be hard to fight if his solddiers cant be out in sunlight.
It was only the stronger people that they put back on thir boat and set adrift, like Brook and a few others seen atfer Moraihs defeat.
I remember that Moriah kept Thriller Bark in the mists of the Florian Triangle due to the mass of weaker victims that were still on the island,(Thriller Bark Victim Association). He needed to make sure they didn't die from exposure to sunlight or he would loose the shadows of those who died. It was Zombies, not the orginal bodies (at least not in battlefield), at Marineford. So I am assuming that the Zombies do not turn to dust as the owner's body would….EDIT- I went and read OP wikia…yeah its not the final say in stuff since anyone can alter it ...and some do add false stuff on purpose. But what it said about the "Marine Zombies" is that its a different class than the ones on Thriller Bark=
"Marine Zombies are very different from their Thriller Bark counterparts and seem to be a huge oversight: they are Marines that died during the war and were revived by Moriah's Kage Kage no Mi powers, and are out and about in broad daylight. Not to mention they have stitches, contradicting the stitches on the Thriller Bark zombies, since Hogback is not around to stitch up zombies and Moriah using his own shadows instead of someone else's. Some of the dead marines are animals in form, bringing up more contradiction. Most of them wear marine uniforms, but some don't.
So if its correct, Moriah did not steal someone elses shadows at Marineford but animated the zombies by his own power to create shadows. However I am taking this with a grain of salt (pun intended), as it mentions that the zombies were ones died in the war and Hogback was not there to stich them together. I think that is wrong, for some glaring evidence = some zombies were animal-human hybrids as were seen at Thriller bark, I remember one looking like a grizzly bear on hindlegs. So Hogback was there but out of sight.
-
Okay there some confusion there about the shadow's and the zombies.
I understood the zombies (besides the fact that they emerged from ice which hadn't been there before).
I meant the shadows that Moria stole from marines ON THE BATTLEFIELD, in order to grow more powerful and fight Jinbe.
If what Brook said was true, this would have been useless, because the marines would have disintegrated,
and the shadows would have disappeared. I know it's a bit confusing, but still… -

Is Bonney's age changing temporary?
-
No I doubt that. She can change herself back so I bet she can do it with the others as well. Same as Law can bring back the SHs back to normal

Hey, I have a question. Why is stated that Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the world when Shanks is also a swordsman?

Call me crazy, but, I think Kaido = Scopper Gaban, former Roger Pirate.

Seconded, thats what I've always leaned towards. We're probably dead wrong though.
-
Hey, I have a question. Why is stated that Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the world when Shanks is also a swordsman?
Mihawk is a better swordsman because he can pull off some amazing stuff with a sword (shockwaves, bullet deflection, cutting an iceberg in half). From what we have seen, Shanks' swordsmanship is not as refined and complex as Mihawk's, but he makes up for it through raw strength and Haki.
-
Does anyone know Law's eye color?
Usually his eyes are so small it looks solid black in the anime, but there is a panel in 668 that shows the iris. I'm wantingt o color this panel but can't find any refernce of his eye color.

I think Scopper is the guy who visited Crocus… And why should Kaidou stop Shanks from rescuing the son of their captain after all? But we will see

You mean from this cover story right?[hide]
[/hide]I thought that Rayleigh wanted to know how he was during the conversation on Sabaody, and that's him visiting him.Unless of course you're talking about something else.

When did Rayleigh had such long hair, such dressing style and why should Oda hide his face?
-
I guess you're right about his hair, it's not as long..And the weird attire.. But he is a probably still one of the most wanted men by the marines.. When 666 was released I thought back to that cover and, but I never thought it could be someone else..
But, I just remembered this. (whether it's part of a cover series, I don't know..I think it's inbetween the separation and from the decks of the world)..I don't know if it counts or not though..

So maybe you're right.

thank you! … and that explains why my first instinct was to color them a yellow color. I didn't do it yet becase I remembered that yellow eyes is what made Mihawk have the nickmane of "Hawkeye" and thought it was his eyes, not Laws, I was thinking of.
Thanks again! The eyes are the only thing left for me to color and then I can get to work on blending and shading.
Shanks is a pirate, Mihawk is a swordsman.
Hmm Mihawk is a pirate too.
The Shichibauki are pirates that work for the Govt. and have their bounty revoked while in service. -
Hey, I have a question. Why is stated that Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the world when Shanks is also a swordsman?
Mihawk lost interest in Shanks as a competitor in swordmanship when he lost his arm. In the past they apparently fought a lot as rivals (with nonconclusive endings apparently).

The details of that…incident are vague.
We don't know if Kaido--possibly Scopper Gaban--and Shanks actually fought, they could've simple talked it out with one another (due to their past history with each other). Maybe Kaido wanted to help rescue Ace, but, Shanks said "No...this is Whitebeard's fight etc. etc. The future etc. etc." Maybe Kaido wanted to talk to Whitebeard similar to Shanks, not actually fight him to defeat/kill him.
Somewhat off-topic: I really think that Big Mam is going to turn out to be the most ruthless Yonko. Blackbeard is just a "D". Shanks is...Shanks. And Kaido will probably be like Gol D. Roger: You mess with his nakama and he'll destroy you; Gecko messed with his nakama, so, Gecko and crew got destroyed. Big Mam is in it for the money (candy); she represents the worst of the corporate world.

And that's why Shanks himself came to the war to stop it at the end… And why would a former 3rd strongest of Roger's s crew have Moriah as "rival"... Same for Drake having a grudge.
But we will see... I see Scopper is the guy meeting Crocus and has retired as Rayleigh

1. Shanks didn't fight anyone though, as I'm sure Kaido would have. Shanks made temporary peace between the WG and pirates. Shanks is, more than likely, the most peaceful Yonko.
2. Moriah WAS his rival long(ish) before the One Piece series started.
3. And Drake could be nothing more than 'a Eustass Kidd': Attacking a Yonko to upset them, getting their attention, and maybe eventually dethroning them. Heck…maybe Drake even wanted to get Kaido's--possibly Scopper Gaban--attention to join his crew.
There's a lot of mystery surrounding these events still.

Moriah was his rival to the time Roger was executed. See chapter 0. Moriah was there in good shape and not potrayed as lazy guy who become emo after Kaido crushed his crew
As I said. You can believe it. I doubt it to 100 % that a former Roger pirate is a Yonkou but no one mentioned it. I still to my prediciton Scopper is "man who met Crocus"

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say that Kaido is somehow linked to Vegapunk.
They both have numbered cyborgs, and Moria's numbered zombies were probably inspired by Kaido.
So, I think that the influence goes: Vegapunk > Kaido > Moria. We'll learn more about it later, I'm sure. -

I think that he is probably a new character, it's just that his relationship to other characters has been apparent…
If he's not a new character, then... Yeah, he's most likely Franky's dad. -

If he's not a new character, then... Yeah, he's most likely Franky's dad. That would be pretty funny if it turned out true, but also what happens if Big Mom is actually Lola's mum? would seem repetitive but again there's to big IF's in that statement

Hehe his eyes looked a little dark yello in the poster but wehn I used a tool to copy the color, it showed it as brown. LOL I am so happy that you found that for me.

I say there's a 70% chance that Kaido's a new character, and a 30% chance that he's Scopper Gaban (former Roger Pirate).
-
@The:

I have problems with the Scopper Gaban thing.
For one, we already have a former Roger pirate among the Yonko.
For two, Kaido tried to stop Whitebeard from saving Roger's son.
For three, there's no evidence behind it.Still, I think that we will meet Scopper eventually.

Actually we just know that Kaidou and Shanks met, just before the war. Whether it truly was a clash is unsure, we just know that's what the Marines called it.

I already have…a lot of times...in not just this thread. But it's mostly theories--solid theories--but still, simply theories. That's why I set Scopper Gaban being Kaido at 30%.

Is there a place where I can find the questions and answers of the SBS? I always thought the little facts were interesting, but I can't find any of the newer ones.

The wiki has most of the SBS volumes. Just type in "SBS Volume [Number]" into the wiki search bar.

So after hearing about One Piece Green "confirming"
! Sabo's death, my question is: just how reliable are the data books when it comes to canon? After all, there was that incident where Marshall D. Teach was called the "Cherry Pie Man."
Moreover, how reliable is One Piece Green with regard to the spoilered text above? Was that straight from Oda's mouth, or is that just a statement being made by whoever wrote that short spot of text?
-

THere is debate on if the databooks can be trusted or not. Several people state the Databooks are not written by Oda .. I'm don't know if thats true or not. However there are some mistakes within such as Crocus' birhtday doesn't match his Gemini sign (wich he stated in the manga when he met the Strawhats…though he could ahve been lying then). But no way can we explain away that some people had the wrong flag(forgot who)
But seriously, even if the databooks are written by Oda's assistants, I doubt he would let them mess up that big with if a person is live or dead. Some try to say "no way would he reveal a big surprise like that in a databook, so of course it says so-so is dead". But I would think Oda wouldn't lie like that... if he wanted someone's survival to be a surprise, a good way is just to say what happened and leave it at that, not having a narator or source book say if they lived or died,
[HIDE] Like saying that after the Tenryuubito shot at Sabo's boat, all was seen was floating debris and one member of of Dadan's bandits tell Ace & Luffy that Sabo was dead. That is a character saying they are dead. But the source books don't say that. They say Sabo is Dead.[/HIDE]Oh I thought it was Deep Blue not Green that gave that info? I thought Deep Blue is the most recent one, was I wrong there?
