all 50 of them…
Considering Scott has almost all of the adult X-Men, including Magneto, he would have to be crazy not to bring back up in case shit went south.

touche good sir…touche...
Hey, hey, hey…
Scott shot first, so it is totally fair for Cap to call out the entire Avengers team, all 50 of them...
Cap should do a PSA for anti-bullying.
Maybe he will after the movie opens. It would be a great one.
You would imagine that a guy called captain america would be a little more fox newsy.
Like patrolling the border for mexicans, or punching "godless" muslims.
That's Captain 'Murrica.

As for the red skull, won't he always be part of the swastika as hydra is just a branch of that originally? Plus the swastika isnt being used to represent a country.
Obviously it doesn't represent a country. What does it represent though? It represents his ideals and what he believes in a la Captain America.
Cap showing his leadership skills. :D
Has this hawt clip of Black Widow kicking ass been posted yet?
Damnit, I wish it was May already! The wait is killing me! >:(
It comes out this month in Europe. =)
Actually, isn't Captain America like one of the few people Hulk, in his monstrous form, doesn't really get angry at much. Like, I know he gets angry at Iron Man and Hawkeye, but he generally respects and listens to 'Flag Man'.
Also, Black Widow being awesome.
I got a kick out of this

Wait. The music's from that cartoon I heard about…....DAMN. I really need to watch that series now.
^ They don't really use the song anymore outside of the instrumental instead choosing to have a narattor setup the introductions for most of the team.
Not just the music, the whole setup. It's as close a "shot for shot" recreation of the cartoon's opening given the limitations (very little team Live action footage, or Hawkeye and just slightly more Black widow, who doesn't feature in the theme song yet. No live action Gi/Ant man, Wasp or Panther)
I'm not a big fan of the song, but I do admit missing it over the generic narrator thing they've got going recently.

I knew someone would do it. It was only a matter of time.
The song was cut due to a fan backlash. I still don't know why, I thought the song served it's purpose.
I wonder if we will see anyone else join the group after this film. I wouldn't mind seeing antman at some point as well as the villains that come with him. Then again I think the future of this franchise is going to be decided with this film.
Fingers crossed all goes well. After all the money from this will no doubt be pumped into several other films over the next five or ten years I suspect.
EDIT: Nevermind. :getlost:
My finals start on May 4th, but I'll probably try to reward my completion of this semester with this movie. I'm pretty damn hyped.
Got passes to see the movie on Saturday. Anyone else get?
H…How?... because I'd love something like that...
So the world premiere of The Avengers was yesterday and the first tweets sound really promising. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/avengers/news/?a=57781
Saw the movie today.
It was so awesome! Joss did a fantastic job of balancing the screen time in both things to do and screen-time.
How was the final battle J-Sack?
Awesome. There were many fun moments and many kick-ass moments.
Only thing I will say is that there was a scene during the credits (after the credits that mentioned the main cast in a visually fun way and before the scrolling credits). There was nothing after the scrolling credits… but, I don't know if that is what they ended up filming earlier this week.
Alright, if people have started seeing it let it be said:
USE SPOILER TAGS!!!!!!!!
Given that the post-movie surprises have consistently leaked… yeah, its no doubt what they filmed last night. No better way to prevent a leak than to simply have the footage not exist.
It'll still be well known by the day-of, whatever it is. Gonna have to dance around sites and spoilers for a while.
OMG OMG OMG, I'm so excited. Less than 2 weeks to go. This is gonna be the greatest movie ever!!!
I will say this, I will not post anything spoiler-y. Not even in tags, because I know how tempting they can be.
If you don't care and have questions, PM me. I will though answer general questions.
Is Black Widow as awesome as other Whedon women?
Saw the movie today.
About that. What's the deal with advanced screenings? Do you have to sign a nondisclosure agreement or something? (well, I guess not, since you just agreed to answer questions through PM).
I just find it strange that more huge plot spoilers haven't been leaked this way.

Oh, I wasn't accusing you at all. (if you had, I would have edited your post)
Just putting the general warning out there.
@Kaiolino Of course
@Nobodyman No nondisclosure to sign. They just hope the fans be respectful.
Also, news flash, the 3D is nothing special. Apparently the scene shot this week will be put in the film for it's public release… so I will gladly be seeing it again (as I already intended).

That's kind of amazing. All those advanced screenings for dozens if not hundreds of movies, and as far as I can tell, no major spoilers have been leaked.
There are screenings for every movie. I went to around 25 last year.
People do spoil online, but it usually is on the advance movie screening sites or spoiler tagged.
I did look up some spoilers on twitter and do find a lot of results, it is just that none of it is on my feed. Same with facebook or any of those. If you don't know the spoiler to search for, it is a slim chance you will come across it.

Yeah, I see your point.
I guess most people don't like spoiling things for themselves (besides the advanced screening isn't the "complete" picture).
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Still, I have to wonder; what would it be like today if people saw an advanced screening of The Empire Strikes Back.
It's good to hear that it's great! I don't think I'm asking anything too spoilery, but how's the character development and interaction?
My friend told me that he firmly believed that this movie would be a flop because it'd just be all about Iron Man showing the rest of the team what he can do, then Thor showing them what he can do, then Cap., and so on. He still thinks that's what it's going to turn out to be, and that it'd be cheesy to appeal to the masses.
Given Joss Whedon's track record, I hardly think that's likely.
Character development and interaction couldn't have been done any better in my opinion. It didn't feel like a formula or cheesy at all. It was just awesome.

Every time you speak, the fact that the movie isn't released yet only hurts me more and more :(

J](http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/rorschachsrants/news/?a=58016)ust the idea of wondering how Loki even get's locked up makes me hyped. That's actually all that has at this point after all the stories and news I have heard. It feels like I have seen all the puzzle pieces, yet I still just can't put them together.
Loki is locked up because he wants to be, it's as simple as that ^_-
So the movie's awesome (I never doubted it), the Avenger ladies are awesome too (damn well better be!), but the 3D is lackluster.
That's a little disappointing, as I thought this would be a great movie for the 3D effects. But it won't affect my interest in the movie; just means I might look for the theatre playing The Avenger's in 2D and save me a couple bucks.
I never cared about the 3D. Unless I hear the 3D is at James Cameron or Coraline levels, I'm not going to a 3D showing.
I go for the 3D viewings for the same reason I ask for whipped cream on my late'.
It's there so why the hell not?
I go for the 3D viewings for the same reason I ask for whipped cream on my late'.
It's there so why the hell not?
-Because it usually adds very little if anything to the experience
-Because the glasses may hurt your eyes or make you dizzy
-Because it costs extra
-Because the 3D "effect" requires perfect depth perception and one of my eyes is slightly weaker than the other, so I can't see 3D.
I don't get all the wah wah-ing over 3D. I usually watch REALD 3D at Odeon and it looks fantastic. Maybe it just depends on your local cinema, because I know another of my locals 3D quality is much poorer than REALD.

One of my eyes is drastically worse than the other and I can watch 3D with no problems.
