Akainu showed sympathy for Aokiji and didn't kill him, but Aokiji left the Marines.
His whereabouts are unknown. He quit the marines.

BB has joined the ranks of Shanks, Kaidou, and Big Mam as a Yonkou.

Well this was awesome… Some things
- Fucking told it... The EPS were the treasure... Now the theory about Shirahoshi taken the treasure to grow legs is dead
- Where was VDD?
- Is it just me or the monster trio all spotted something is going on with Shirahoshi... Hate to say it... Could it be CoO?
- Next chapter willbe interesting

I kinda wanted Hody to die of an Heartattack or something after this but its still good, they became even more pathetic XD.

One thing I'm confused about, the spoiler/CCC translations mention that Caribou was listening to Robin and Jinbe's conversation about the ancient weapons. And yet, unless he's really a invisible microscopic speck of mud somewhere, he seems to be nowhere to be seen in the first page, nor are there confirmation of him listening in. Is it just assumption from how he's skulking around the castle, or are there a missing page, or did I just miss something? Because having someone running free with that kind of info is a HUGE gamechanger.

Hody as old geezer is good as well as Zoro's reaction to Pappugg's mouth.
We still didn't c BB's full-grown beard, but it would have surprised me if Oda did such a mistake. -
I laughed a lot while reading the page 11 from Mangareader :D Chapters like these make One Piece stand out most from other mangas. Informative, funny and well drawn. Nice CoO there as well it seems.

Cover page with Tonjit was pretty cute. I dun get what that exchange about a giant animal was about though. Also, Caribou looks absolutely nutso in the bottom panel of the Shirahoshi rape page. Nice to know his brothers are officially alive though. Lots of good moments in this chapter.

The second half of Fishman Island is so happening. If the treasure was stolen 10 years ago, how did Caribou get his hands on it? Or was that a bad translation? And didn't Caribou's brother got floated in the sea? How could he say he heard about them landing in the port? Bad translation again?

Great chapter and all, but if we're really setting up for an eventual end-game Pirates/Revolutionaries v. World Government/Navy battle, Oda's weakened the Navy pretty significantly. Pretty much down to Akainu, Kizaru, Smoker, and the Vice-Admirals, most of whom don't seem to be that overpowered.
Wonder if we're going to learn about a previously-unknown branch of the Navy in the New World.

Well, next chapter the Straw Hats go all saying "WE DESTROYED THE FACTORY AND STOLE THE SWEETS, U MAD??" and they get the blame… It would be a good hype for the new world. That or they use their friendship with Lola, assuming Big Mom is the Mom Lola was referring too.
Also, someone said Caribou would be the Team Rocket of One Piece. And he is quite good at flying after being beaten. Maybe thats a true possibility.

Uh… Hody was the one who stole some of the contents 10 years ago. That much is clear even with this god-awful piss-poor pathetic excuse for a translation.

Fantastic chapter because of all the exposition. Hilarious to see Hody and his officers as old people. And I wonder what the anime will do if it showcases the cover story as Toto already had grandchildren in the non-canon - will they say it's his great-grandchildren? On the the other hand, the anime never does the cover stories anymore, so probably not this one either…
One thing bugs me, though: If they knew the candy factory was destroyed, why did the soldiers give the remaining candies to the banquet? It's not like the Straw Hats aren't fully satisfied with meat and booze.
