If I had never seen or heard of One Piece, that cover would honestly make me buy it almost immediately, just from the varying interesting character designs shown on the cover.
One of the very best in the series :D Franky's shogun in the background makes it all the more complete.
In fact, I don't buy the Japanese tankobons, but this is making me want to start… I want that cover like now...

Vivi and Carue are "Nakama" whatever that means, even if they aren't in the crew. Besides if you bring this one to the fray, Jimbeist can cancell it with Franky's during the cp9 battles, or Brook's with nigthmare luffy, bride nami, pirate robot emperor and "That's embarasing" Robin.

I'm definitely enjoying this cover a lot after looking at it over and over again. Did anyone notice that Franky's cannons come out from near his neck? I wonder if its like a sliding part of his mecha skin that moves then the cannons come out. Man I want to see what else he's hiding inside that body of his! Haha! Oh and Jinbe, he really doesn't blend well with the rest of the crew. It's his posture and just the whole attitude about him, but if Oda makes him a crew member then I'll be fine with it. Let's just remember the featured chapter is called 10 vs 100,000, so if Oda showed only 9, it wouldn't fit with the title. Anyways, I can't wait to see if there's a alternate cover underneath like last volume, and some of the SBS! (crossing my fingers there's less boob and poop jokes)

First of all, one of your links is broken. Secondly; that really doesn't make for much of a good argument. All I was saying was that having him in a group shot on the cover doesn't specifically mean he's 100% confirmed, it can go either way; a la Vivi or a la Chopper/Franky/Brook/whomever. What I'm seeing from you is just bullheaded excuse to completely assume this is definite proof of him joining.

You guys remember the whole 'Paulie is gonna be the next crewmember and Franky ain't'? That's when until his flashback and more volume cover arts showing him with the Straw Hat Pirates is shown.
We saw Jinbei's past and he lost a loved one, Fisher Tiger (who act as an older brother to him and Arlong) but we didn't see how he looked like in his childhood, same for Brook.
Not to mention about Jinbei's dreams too (possibly his dream is to see the Humans and Fishman/Mermaid getting along and living together in the future)
EDIT: Oops, Jinbei's childhood was indeed shown. Don't know when but I found this. Most likely on SBS.

I hope the next volume will contain the NFP.
This would be the first time in a big clash when we saw all SHs on the cover b4 all the villains on the cover.
(vol. 21: croc + BW, vol. 22: Luffy + SHs; vol. 42: Spandam + CP9, vol. 43: Luffy + SHs; vol. 64: Luffy + SHs; vol. 65: NFP?)
If we go by that the next clashing cover with all the SHs on it would be 85 (because there is a pattern: decade-no.+2, unit-no.+1, 01->22->43->64->85->106->…)
Okay, 01 seems weird, cause there was no big clash @ all, but to that time the crew were only 3 and those were on the cover.
And on 43 Robin wasn't on the cover, but that was an exception after all, cause she was handcuffed and left the SHs technically at that time.
If we go by that the SHs would fight the BBs either in 106 or 127 (or even 85 if Oda rushes nao, but I don't want it that fast! :sad:) don't take all the math $hit too seriously, I just noticed the number-pattern as an engineer.
Is Franky Shogoun golden? Looks like Daibutsu Sengoku.This cover looks awesum. It's one of the best IMO cause we c all SHs in badass post-TS-fighting mode. In 61 they were just like "yeah, we're together again, yeehaw!"
Jinbe really fits in well. I already discussed in the nakama thread that he'd be the best choice yet in refering to crew-story-chemistry and fighting style. -
