Uh, did Mangastream translate the title of the chapter wrong? The spoiler thread says the chapter is called "Straight Above Fishman Island", which would make more sense… Fishman Island isn't rising in this chapter...

I just can't think of anyone for Robin or Nami to fight…..again.
I really hope I'm wrong though. Even if I have no idea how anyone could fight them, unless they just appear out of nowhere without any buildup....but I'd still take that over continuing the nothing that is Robin's fight record of 375 chapters.

And said this already but those 375 chapters, probably at least 200 of them Robin was a prisoner. 75 of them was ONLY Luffy. The other 100, no one really got a solo fight besides the monster trio.

I really enjoyed this chapter. Finally, more fight, confident Chopper, cool Nami, Usopp the tactician… brilliant everywhere. Too bad for the break.

I don't see Chopper and Usopp teaming up. At least no more than I see Brook and Franky teaming up. Their fights might intersect at points like they did this week, but otherwise I don't see it being like the Mr. 4, Merry Christmas fight.

Nice chapter. Liked the joke with Zeo and how Usopp realized Chopper won't be there to help him out. Wonder if Nami/Robin are going to help out and/or any of the villains will transform like Hody/Hyouzou.

I liked how Oda reminded Usopp and Chopper's fight in Alabasta. Nice detail.
I wonder if Usopp will only fight using the Pop greens. I really hope he still use at least his old arsenal (Fire Bird Star, my nickname…). Maybe he only uses the Pop greens with the black Kabuto and has other Kabutos to attack with powder, fire or whatever.

I hope Nami getting no fight means that she's meant for something "more important" in the near future. Like helping rescuing fishmen island or their citizens. However she is supposed to do that…

People thought that VDD locked the Noah on Hody instead of Shirahoshi? Because it was still locked on Shirahoshi since the ship turned when she did.
though I do expect something from VDD. There needs to be a reason for him to not attack Shirahoshi anymore and get that cover story.

I already complained about the pace last week, so I will save it this time (actually, it ended up being a complaint anyways).
I am quite sad to see Vivi in the cover. I had my hopes she and Carue would be left out of this coverstory just like Buggy, Alvida, Smoker and all the guys we are supposed to meet at New World and still have a role in the current plot.
Not that it rules out the chance of Vivi appearing again (actually, it is bound to happen one way or another), but it seems unlikely she will have an important role soon.Good to see Nami taking out a lot of fishmen. Everyone did that already while she took only one with her previous attack. And somehow I like how she asked for help saying "Somebody!" instead of "HELP!!!". It was liking she was just calling out someone as if each of them should be ready to cover the other in a situation like this. I may be overreading, but it felt like something from a real close group.
Zeo… the only interesting commander so far. TGFI (Thank Goda for Idiocy).
And it's not like the chapter was exciting or anything (no, it wasn't), but it still got pretty boring the moment Hody and those Princes appeared. It's a natural gift, I think.

Nami (The AP Member) I totally agree with you I had the same thought as Arlong being a surprise opponent. It would be such a nice bit of character development for Nami (The OP character) to finally confront that dark time in her life and defeat him easily. I think it might give her an additional bit of closure even though she seems to be fine.
As far as Robin goes, I could see him fighting Cariobou. Whose to say she hasn't mastered haki (i forget the name Armament was it?) the one that you could hit logia users with. That would be a pretty neat fight.

Wait, am I the only one who was thinking someone off screen used Haki to knock out VDD? Everyone was already expecting someone more powerful to show up this ark, maybe Big Mam? But why and when would they have boarded Noah… or maybe Decken just passed out on his own.

It was a good chapter.
Brook vs Zeo is probably going to be a more comedic fight, which I don't have a problem with.And as predicted, Noah is going to fall on top of Fishman Island.
Now the question is, How exactly is Luffy going to move the ship without destroying it?And for everybody whining about Nami and Robin not getting a fight, be patient and wait 'til the next chapter. Oda can't fit everything into an 18-page chapter.

Yeah, Arlong popping up and fighting Nami would be freakin sweet _ I could kind of imagine that the appears right after Hody, Decken, Caribou and all their henchmen are defeated and Fishman Island seems to be saved. That would be awesome - kind of like Kuma appearing after everyone was defeated on Thriller Bark. The chapter where Zoro fought against Kuma alone was called "Strawhat Pirates - Pirate Hunter Zoro", right? Then the chapter where Nami would fight Arlong alone after the climax of the arc would be called "Strawhat Pirates - Burglar Cat Nami" _ maybe Oda wants to follow that tradition and give every Strawhat one REAL big bad guy to fight with epic moments for the rest of the series? Awesome x)

On the contrary, it shows conclusively that he's not dead yet.
If it all happened off-panel, we'd have no way of knowing if he had died or simply passed out - in fact, without this we'd have no way of knowing that mere unconsciousness shuts down his power as well.
