I have an angry confession. Something that's bothering me atm, now in the form of a big wall of text. :<
! We are gonna have an election in about 9 days here in Denmark. Most of the people I go to class with (me being the youngest at 18 and the oldest being 27) and friends don't know what to vote for. If they want to vote at all that is. And that is where I get a little bit pissed. I feel that when you live in a democracy you have a (moral) fucking obligation to vote and know about wtf is going on in your country and in your world. Being this neutral or what to call it is sometimes viewed in such a wrong way now a days, like as if it's a good thing. It's as if some people are so afraid to do something wrong that they don't do anything at all, and we all know that's how democracy was created I say sarcastically. Of course if we compare to people who do things deliberately to harm others it's (I guess) acceptable. They don't join in on the evil but certainly doesn’t stop it either. And if we say that there are people doing something to help others then what? Are these disinterested people evil? I would almost suggest the latter, not that I view it in a direct way of evulz of course. I see that as somewhat thoughtless because a person have the wonderful ability to think both for themselves and about how others feel as well, great but what about combining these abilities and start to reflect on what's going on? No? I don't believe that fucking adults in a society can't do that. So if you have taken a stand for whatever it is you believe in, then how about using it? Wait now, you have done that right? Oh herp derp you don't know about politics? Argh! Knowledge about stuff is not bad however obviously lack of is. Just look at history and hey what's that about killing witches and other poor souls? If a person spend half as much time on getting into what's going on and so and so instead of looking on what's not going on at Facebook they would get it! And yet some dare to say it doesn't even matter. I mean even in fucking Nazi-Germany people had a voice. Yeah! I read that! The few times where the it's-none-of my-concern-as-long-as-I'm-well mentality broke people had their voices heard. Even after a fucking demonstration some women got their Jewish husbands out of jail in a few days and that seem pretty impressive given the circumstances and yes bravo, someone took a stand but is it really something that should be viewed as a grand achievement when everyone ells could do it as well? Apparently, yet people come and talk BS about how it doesn't matter anyway. Or even worse, that they simply don't care. Don't frigjdrksj argh!
! Politics sometimes create more harm than good in the quest of defeating the evil in which the harmed ones are the people, and that is clear and that is why the people are the ones who need to do something about it. Not just play the blame game, “Oh I didn't know” just doesn't cut it. VIVA LA READ A FUCKING NEWSPAPER AND PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER DAMMIT!
I don't mean to judge -Okay maybe a little bit much- but even one election can screw up a country and if it keep going down because people don't give enough of a fuck to just sit their popos for a sec and learn something and use it then what? Just leave it all to the state and there goes your vote ..dot.. dot.. dot… FOREVER!! Yeah I'm not objective but that line was crossed long ago.
! We have many parties to choose from here in little DK, and some of them so alike that you can be picky enough to say “Okay they all have this, and this I like, but this one have more of that than that and that is what I want”, and done!
! I usually get a “Yeah okay then what are you voting for?” answer. Don't care what I vote for! Vote against my party, please do, but just do something you came to decide on your own! These people (bless them) almost make me seem like a political activist of some sort and that's just wrong.
! Now excuse me but my heart desires some funny pictures at 9Gag!
