Aw, screw it. I feel like ranting with you guys. Here's my contribution:

-Tousen's logic will never make any sense to me. He vowes to bring justice to SS but willingly goes with a traitor. You call that justice? And he "follows the path of least bloodshed". Aizen's "plan" was to kill thousands of humans. That doesn't necessarily mean straight-up bloodshed, but it'd still be killing unarmed masses. And, and, even if Tousen didn't know Aizen's plan, I'm sure even he would be smart enough to assume that if his group wanted to dominate, it'd involve slaughtering their opposition….which would mean bloodshed. So yeah, somebody correct me if I'm off, but that's my complaint.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that "least bloodshed" quip.

I can't believe I forgot to put in how Tousen a) regains his sight and b) calls Komamura ugly, despite only being able to see for like twelve seconds.

And it's a shame too because I actually thought Tosen had potential with his backstory.

and I'd like to second the bit about Ichigo not having seen Aizen's Shikai being important. Like, that actually makes sense. I was looking forward to Aizen doing some illusion bullshit, and then Ichigo just cutting through it and being all "that won't work on me" but NOPE. Aizen just kinda does other things, and when he does use his illusions to troll the captains, Ichigo does jack shit.

I remember looking at that longass picture and going "Oh God. Just. Oh God. When Will This End. When. It's Still Going. On And On." Seriously Kubo loves doing that. So much that it loses all impact whenever he does it.

Probably not intentionally funny like with Oda's. I've also thought about Kishi's SBS where he's asked "Kishimoto sensei will Naruto-kun be with Sakura or Hinata" and if Kishi were honest he would answer "Naruto is straight what planet is this". Of course the One Piece SBS tends to have a lot of really random crap in it, with equally random answers from Oda, but reading the SBS' make you realize how awesome Oda is. Probably wouldn't be the case with Kubo or even Kishimoto.

Question for Kubo, why did you have an entire saga (cuz Arrancar is NOT an arc) build up to Ichigo losing his Shimigami powers only to have them return so early in the Fullbringer Arc?

Also: what was the point of the entire Aizen battles if Sandals had it won so soon?

Why is aging in Soul Society so inconsistent?

Kubo: Because I like to think of it like I do my plot.

A: See, usually when I draw backgrounds, I just leave it white. That's the "air." Air is very peaceful. If I instead pour ink into the background, that means there's an "absence of air", and thus an absence of peace. It induces drama into a scene.

Q: Kubo O-sama, why does Soul Society seem like such a bad place?

A: I thought I'd do something different than the usual "pleasant afterlife after a whole life of hardship and struggle." So to distinct my series, I made the afterlife into a military dictatorship/aristocracy where normal people are homeless peasants that are cleansed in yearly ghetto burnings. It makes my series really unique, especially when I continue to portray the aristocrats in as much positive light as possible.

A: I thought it'd be cool to have a character who could destroy the main villain with his pinky but doesn't try until the very last second. Also I came up with that idea about a page before Yamamoto and Aizen faced off.

Oh God yes. The fairies, they were forgotten about eons ago, and probably will never show up again. Honestly, I never really cared for them, but I still hate when plotlines or aspects of the story are just forgotten about and never spoken again. It pisses me off.
