I'm saying that that Shanks slash cut the sky; WB parted it. Pure muscle did not create a fissure in the sky. Figure there is more to anything Shanks can do than pure muscle. Who thought Haki would turn Luffy's hands black?

No bubble for the same reason we saw no hint of arms in Robin's first scene. Muscle could maybe move or slice a cloud but distort the atmosphere so a void actually appears in the sky but not effect the ship or water?

Really don't see how it wasn't obvious when we first saw WB first crack the sky like glass just because Oda didn't draw a bubble. Not drawing arms seems a bigger inconsistency than that. We don't even know if people in OP actually see a bubble or if its just for the reader.

I agree that it was the quake powers that caused the rift. Oda probably kept the bubble effect out so it wouldn't reveal his DF. I recall the SH crew's first encounter with Robin at whiskey peak and there were no hands shown when she knocked the others down and took Luffy's hat, so it looked like telekinesis at first.

Remember that Hyouzou isn't a fishman, he's a merman. They are said to be the fastest in the sea is all. I don't remember any solid detail on the strength of a MerMan.

The main enemy will be revealed to be Fukaboshi (I don't know the reason, though). The arc has similary with Water 7, so it's not a stretch to think that once again the real enemy will be revealed to be one of the good guys.
Fukaboshi is a shark type, just like Arlong, Hodi and Van are. Except that he's a Merman, which makes it more likely for Oda to go for the unpredicted road and make him the main enemy instead of Arlong 2. The chances of Van becoming the main villain are even less because his motives don't suit this arc.

And we also have this "the shadows that controls everything" or whatever that Keimi was talking about. Fukaboshi fits the description way better than lowly guys like Van and Hodi.

Anyhow, if Fukaboshi really is a good guy, then he's going to fight Hodi now. But having the strongest man in the Naptune army taken out so early in arc, like 10 chapters after his introduction, doesn't fill right to me. Hodi still can't open the passage, because the pirates will be stopped now.

That could happen! Maybe Hodi and the young fishmen really like the queen, but when she died, they started to hate humans even more (or something the point is, they liked the queen).

This is most likely not gonna happen but i think that there is a slight possibilty that Coby will get strong by raising up in the Marine Ranks and because of that will gain a Devil Fruit ablility and fight with luffy. I know it has been said that they will fight but has anyone considered a DF vs DF battle.

I just don't want Coby to become as strong as most members of the crew. He and Helmeppo should always be easy to fight.

I think that there will be some 'fights' where Luffy and Zoro fight them but without seriously hurting them. And I think both groups will help each other by escaping marines or fighting bad pirates.

I think Coby, at some point in the story, will be an admiral. Most probably at the very end and he'll be there to stop the SH's at raftel, it'll be a very emotional battle and Luffy & co will have there hands full with Coby and his crew.
At least, that is how I'd like it to go

Raftel will be the place Luffy fights BB not Coby. Unless something happens between Coby and Luffy that ruins their friendship I don't see them fight near Raftel.

i disagree..having haki does not mean your already on eqaul terms with one person..i think there are so many variables, like haki (+ haki mastery) + own strength + maybe willpower + kind of df + df mastery + etc..of course the vital part is the haki one..

so that means 2 persons having haki does not mean they are equal.
btw, you wrote ALMOST, but it is still wrong for me..luffy is levels ahead of coby even if they both have haki.

It will be obvious at the end of the series that Coby will be weaker than the M.Trio but when you add hardcore training with Garp and fighting NW pirates +his extraordinary growth it will make sense for him to be a challenge for them chasing the SH around post-EOS.

They shouldn't be close the first time they meet though I can see Coby being so skilled with CoO haki that Luffy can't touch him even in G2 until later in the series.

That depends on what luffy uses he may not even have to use Gear 2 and at the moment coby isnt even up to lucci's level so it'll be a while before he's even near luffy's level.

Coby probably hasnt even learned all types of haki yet and he surely hasnt maastered them all.And haki does make someone god. He could master haki but get defeated by a DF user because of lack of proper fighting skills and dodging manuevers.

Of course both will protect each other. MArines have alot of respect for certain pirates like that and luffy wil become a respectable srong yet dangerous man in the future. I don't really care for Helmeppo because he doesn't have an ambition to drive on but Coby trains really hard and hopes to beat luffy and other "bad" pirates. Apparently people have been putting them in the category of Roger- Garp
