@brebaz:
Wow @ people in here. no comment really. I'm a free man I get to say whatever whenever. But, apparently some people don't like that. I have eyes and ears!! i can choose what to hear and what to see…
Let me ask. Did any of you ever live in Egypt? If so for how long? Do you know what is the minimum wage? how many people on the verge of poverty? or even what caused the revolution?
To Everyone you don't have to agree with me. I'm not asking you to do so.
Also apparently every one have a degree in politics around here!!
Well Mr. kinda half Egyptian; I'm an Egyptian to the bone, I lived for 23 years in Egypt, and been outside Egypt for 2 years work only. My family & friends are in Egypt and soon enough I'll go back to Egypt and live there till I die. I never knew & will never know any other home.
Any Egyptian would know how much we need to have a fresh start, how much do we need to be free even if the price to be paid is as painful as it is right now.
Any Egyptian would know how does it feel to be humiliated, put in prison & may be even beaten to death for doing NOTHING but upsetting a police officer, how does it feel to be a high college graduate from low or commerce faculties and yet not able to find ANY job. I could go on on how much problems the Egyptian people are facing, I can tell you stories about the police cruelty, corruption, negligence, theft of public money for as long as you want.
Any Egyptian know how much does Egypt need this, just listening to Ahmed Zewail speech brought tears to my eyes (not for his own words) but for the realization that all (REAL) Egyptians from all classes and all places KNOW how much we need our voice to be heard after so long, just see all the protests from EGYPTIANS living all around the world and still feeling the pain for their country.
Now you might have lived in Egypt for sometime, may be you have some relatives there and probably you are concerned about there safety more than your care about the whole nation. I won't blame you for this but as an Egyptian I want to tell you this: Sir; you are not Egyptian at all.
Now for Al Jazeera; let it be known that Al Jazeera isn't generally trusted in Egypt, they always tended to exaggerate things related to Egypt or other Arab countries and keep quite when it's related to Qatar itself, and I know that Jazeera is probably exaggerating and playing with numbers right now, but I kept an eye on Jazeera, Arabiya, Egyptian TV & RNN, and from what I have seen this far, Al Jazeera is the one to be trusted the most.
Now to the current situation, the new government is a joke, it'll only lead to more protests.
