@No:
The begining kinda felt like Hiro was ripping off Kubo's panel ratio though.
Kubo's not the only one to use 4 panels or less, go and read Shamo that series has alot of chapter with only 3 panels in each page, you'll tend to forget that since the panels are filled with amazing artwork.
@Hinscher:
why do you guys all bash saying a one time power up
how the hell is it a one time power up. he figured something out that he coudl do. it wasn't some magical power up. it was like when lucy and juvia did a magic joining or whatever in tower. wasn't some magicaly only they can do powerup that has no rhime or reason. natsu learned a new technique, just like he learned to grab with fire back when fighting that wind reaper guy in beginning.
I would have to agree. I don't consider this to be an asspull. Now if natsu beat zancrow with his own dragonflames which couldn't do shit before because of family than that would be an ass pull.
@GJardim:
If Natsu actually uses the new flames forever, then I can't consider it an one time power-up. But it's still a power-up.
I can see him using the new flames for the remainder of this arc. Trying to use them on Hades only to have it fail.
My thoughts on the chapter: I enjoyed it, I liked the fact that Makarov helped out, it was good to see Natsu struggle against his opponent. Him nullifying his magic and than using the god slayer magic was good. Hell Luffy came up with ways to defeat his opponents on the fly and they worked…...wait that's most shounen characters.
Anyways at least Natsu didn't win with brute force from his own power because of Makarov's speech about family.
I kinda wished Makarov would of slammed Zancrow into the ground. Also on page 10 (I believe) did Natsu use a giant tree log to hit Zancrow with?
