@Shandian:
I think Kishi could actually milk series for atleast year or two…perhaps even another timeskip...
Another time-skip? I don't think so. The growth Naruto has gone through from the beginning of Part II, is just too much to warrant another time-skip. Remember the enemy Naruto's facing. I doubt there could ever be someone stronger. Kishi has never allowed us to believe otherwise. Naruto and co. are soon going to face the strongest bloodline limits (the sharingan and the rinnenshit) as well as 7 bijuu. Not to mention that there's subtle evidence of Kishi actually hating his own work or the fact he has to work. It's my bet he wants to finish it as soon as possible.
Anyways, going back to the question Muah posed. If anyone wants to read it…
! The beginning point where I saw a decline was the very beginning of Part II, the catching of the bell test with Kakashi. Yes, the very beginning. Basically that scene became the foundation of the truckloads of shit to come. As the arcs began to pass by, I began to wonder why there was a time-skip to begin with. Naruto fails and then succeeds with training usually completed within a week. Rinse and repeat. I don't mind a character improving quickly, as it's done in most shonen manga, but Kishi did it in the most horrible manner possible. You don't make a character fail so much after 2.5 years of dedicated training. You don't set up training arcs for a ninja who already knows how to be a ninja. Part I was different. He was a little shit, knowing absolutely nothing and even though he accomplished feats within short amounts of time, it was at least done well. But this is different. It was meant to be different. Naruto should have returned as a ninja mimicing his master. But nothing changed. Nothing. No progress whatsoever. But when Naruto goes from a total failure in Part II again, he rushes to master the FRS. And suddenly Kishi adds in that Naruto has surpassed Kakashi. How does that make sense? Sage Mode then makes any ninja around him practically useless. Kyuubi mode… Super Saiyan-esque bullshit. I'll leave it at that. And while this trend continued it was complemented with a shitty plot line. Save Sasuke. But Kishi had to make it worse. He added in a destiny theme. Have Naruto be a "destined child" that will bring peace. Those are basically the succession of events that made this manga horrible. There are other things as well, but this is the main chunk of the problem.
