Oda could go the route of Jinbei just use to hate humans because of the fishertiger incident, but Ace/Luffy changed his view on them. Nami is about to get pissed at Jimbei. Facepalm if Luffy asks him to join because Nami won't agree. She will probably get over it through. Didn't Nami also hate a crew member before and she warmed up to him.

Choji has been making this progress from before. He couldn't expand his body without pills in part 1, but he does it now. Shikiamaru once said he won't fight Choji because he too strong and Asuma said he sas the best in terms of physical strength. Asuma said Ino would bring the team together. Which is wat she has been doing the past chapters with lazyass Shikiamaru and punkass Choji. She told both to man up a few chapters ago. Also Choji dad is a Tank. He freaking takes hits left and right.

Seems like Choji next logical move to learn this. Choji pop pills before just to make his limbs grow. Against Sai he used part of his body big. Against Kakazu he made his whole body grow. Those things before he needed pills. We never see Choza getting pills.

@Arronrules Your still making up rules. Who says its only main characters are restricted to survive near death experience. Pell surviving makes no sense because that means the bomb wouldn't of killed anyone. Choji is doing something right now. Pell isn't doing noting.

Vi said he would die. Choji and Neji thought they would die because nobody was their and fell unconscious. If you get shot and your bleeding out. You would be thinking i going to die, but you wake up tomorrow in a hospital bed. Yes it does bring tension to the drama. Shonen characters get geaten to a pulp all the time. If Vi didn't say Luffy could die people would take it has just another powerboost for Luffy. King Kai was saying no to Goku because he will die going Kaiken more times. Choji wasn't that powerful back then through. Side characters train offscreen. Naruto trains offscreen too, but is the only one who gets onscreen training.

Anyways Choji surviving didn't irk me that much. Authors always do that to increase the tension. Tsaunde worked on him and she the verse best doctor. Just like Luffy was going to die if he took one more shot from vi, but a great verse doctor Law saves him. Goku going Kaiken was surpose to kill him. Gon is practically surpose to be dead now, but we all know that won't happen. If Choji dies now it won't be stupid because Tsaunde is there to work on him. Also i don't know wat you guys opinion on Choji fight in Sasuke retrieval arc is, but IMO Choji kicked ass. Are you kidding me.
