Exactly! i didn't laugh at the nosebleed joke for the past few chapter. But this chapter made me laugh for a while. The joke has gotten better not stale.

they did react, 4 of them nami brook usopp and chopper did. sanji's new trait can't be annoying, its part of the character now (or for now)…hating this trait means u hate sanji. i wouldn't mind a few less skull jokes lol

I also don't think Arlong will be the boss of the new fishmen. It does seem odd they would have the tattoo, I can only think that either he is a bit of a matyr/the tattoo is a symbol of a new way of dealing with humans/Arlong has a swordfish relative who could be the boss. I would imagine it is more the second one. Really hoping for a very different fishman island as a consequence of WB's death and the Saboady incident, resulting in a more black and white, harsher, crueler attitude to non fishmen that the SH's will have to overcome.

its not pointless. this is an attribute of his. this means that there are going to be certain sitautions where he will not be able to do anything at all. hating this is like hating people who are powerless in oceans with DF. this is the exact same thing when he was vs kalifa, just on a bigger scale. this could lead to certain ways of fighting for him. such as, they just might have to blindfold him for him to fight, and we'll witness somethng amazing. the fact that this is emphasized in every single chapter since his rearrival shows its a big thing. might as well hate luffy for his childness, brook for his skull jokes, chopper for his lack of understanding, usopp for his scaredness, nami for her greediness, zoro for his lack of direction, franky for his stupid inventions/add-ons, and robin for her hardcore imagination

This is in no way like any of the other things you mentioned. All those things you mentioned have been there since the beginning of each of their respective introduction. They are a fundamental basis for each of those things you raised. Having a nosebleed every 2 seconds is in no way comparable to that.
Yes, even the Franky thing, as soon as you saw him get to Vegapunk's Island it was imminent that he would get upgrades to tools, not liking his new physical appearance is a personal preference, and it is up to the individual.
If you really think a blindfold is going to be the solution to this pointless nosebleed repetitive, LOL, I can't say anything else on that.

Now that I have to wait for chapters week by week I have more of a chance to critically look over recently released chapters. Now that something repetitive happens I have a lot of time to think about it rather then before, where if it happened, it wasn't the main focus of my reading, and I didn't pay much attention to it.
I have read over it again a few times (2-3 probably, and watched anime again probably same amount of time) and have enjoyed it thoroughly each time, this is not normal with most stories so yeah.
Most of it is pretty good, this nosebleed thing is really annoying, for me personally. However, if not much else changes and becomes as bad as repetitive nosebleeds, whatever, I will ignore nosebleed panels.

The nosebleeds (as we all know) are from Sanji going women dry for two years. Oda wrote all these in so the reader could empathize with what he's going through/has been through. The gradual, consistent improvement is a result of the fact that Oda is good at characterization. His improvement will continue to be gradual and consistent, so prepare yourself.

Just enjoy the Sanji nosebleed for what it is and move on. A gag. I would admit, I too find it mildly annoying but when he was on his death bed this chapter I couldn't stop myself for laughing. It shows that even Sanji himself acknowledges it as his weakness that could eventually lead to his demise (which would never happen but at least he knows he has to find some middle ground for himself).
Speaking of character gags Zoro is taking his role as Luffy's "BodyGuard" to a whole new level. His new strength and rejuvenated sense of devotion towards luffy is pretty kool. Zoro was never the type to cower in fear or doubt his ability but now he just seems soo fearless in the face of adversity that it shows that he's stronger as ever and I cant wait for his battle.
FI looks breathe taking.. still cant really figure out exactly whats going on in that bubble though (I see clouds in the bubble, but is there also a horizon and ocean I see within as well?) and Luffy's carefree attitude is always fun/ While everyone was going "NOOO" " AHHH" due to the volcano he had we "WEEEEEEE!!!" look, lmao. Since the flying Dutchman dissappeared and we know have the threatening new fishman pirates in front of luffy K guess we'll be seeing Captain Van a little later witht he SHs in a different type of situation?
Next Stop: Seeing Uncle Jinbei. I wonder how much Power/Respect he gets from his people?

oh they split at the age of 30? i had forgotten the details so i wasn't sure of the age, i thoguht they would have to be kokoro's age….ugh. mermaid would make sense, it fits the hot girls part of the group, which rite now only has 2. the fastest swimming type would be a great addition to the group. possibly an olympian mermaid? who's a bit more masculine than feminine? luffy in a mermaid's body basically?

I would love to quote the chapter but I am short on time atm….. I vaguely remember him in the ocean looking up at Luffy, Releigh etc as he bid them farewell while mentioning to them he should return to FI now to see whats up because he knows things will get rough for them with WB gone an all. Didn't he say he would be waiting on the day after 2 years when he will see how much Luffy has grown at the FI? Not to mention since Jinbei is now wanted where else would he, a powerful Fishman once Shichibukai, go to seek refuge?

Still don't understand how people can be so annoyed at Sanji's nosebleeds but haven't shown annoyance at Brook's skull jokes.
I'm fine with both, but Brook's jokes have been used far too much in the time he has been around (which is much longer than Sanji's nosebleeds have been shown, and I predict he will control them sooner or later, unlike the skull jokes which will probably carry on until the end of One Piece).

Kokoro explains that Mermaids' tails split when they reach 30 in chapter 424, so I'm kinda hoping for an immature 35-year old mermaid who originally hates humans, but has her beliefs changed by Luffy (Hancock much?). This could lead to gags involving the DF-users constantly ending up in the water, much to her amusement.
About the chapter: Surume runs weird xD Not much respect from Robin. Finally Usopp shows us some of his new abilities, though I wonder why he came up with a seaweed attack. Did he actually think of an attack that he thought would be useful in FI ahead of time?

Volcano shot was great. The kraken was great. Usopp saving the day way great. (Especially the panel where Zoro silently acknowledged the fact that Usopp had grown to be able to do such a thing and was proud of him.) And the reveal shot of FI at long last, surrounded by sea kings. Also great.
Oda's clearly having a ton of fun with drawing crazy fish designs (like we all knew he would). Even Sanji's lack of women nosebleed running gag that isn't all that funny is actually managing to still work, Oda's putting enough variety into it. (Its funnier for Chopper's reaction more than Sanji doing it.) And not even to the island yet and already we're back to the Arlong pirates and Nami having issues with it. (I like the design of the new long necked eel guy)
Oda's having fun and its showing on every page. The whole crew together, all of them doing something in every panel… This is what OP is all about.
